In true fashion to the way Conquest went about his business, Invictus's bow snapped open on his wrist, beginning to glow in a function of higher gravity use than normal for the Horseman - which was simply what it was for, to assist in gravity manipulation. With that in tow, Invictus took up a nearby object that didn't require being ripped out of the ground and swung his arm, throwing it towards the fleeing figure with the gesture.
How he had to hope he didn't hit the ghoul in his arms...or if he did, he hoped the ghoul dissipated - that would clean up how 'messy' the situation at hand was in that time.

By some miracle Zar managed to close the distance between him and the figure dressed in red, almost surprised at himself as he did so. But there was still significant distance between them so he decided to do the only ranged thing he knew how. Launching himself into a leap, he gave his wings a serious flap, an effort which resulted in a few surprisingly sharp pieces of paper being launched in the right direction. But they missed.
And he, not being an arial creature, quickly became reaquainted with the ground, rather painfully. Perhaps he shouldn't jump quite as high next time.

The hell hound knew she wouldn't even bother answering the question even if she was fine, the hope that it might knock some sense in her was slim but prove fruitless as the ghoul clung to his arm. "I'm not leaving you behind like this, grab hold of my shoulders, your going for another doggyback ride." he barked out in an order and plopped the hissing country pumpkin on his back. "Just mind your tail, alright?" "Killing her?" Damien grumbled out as the creature began to taunt them from afar. the audacity of his words, they fought to save and protect Red, to try and snap her out of it and here he was talking about victory. "How dare you speak of such things." the hound snarled out in malice and stood back up to his legs and gave chase to the concealed figure in the crimson cloak with Levi in tow. Damien was gong to make sure he ate those words. maybe the cloak too.

Someone wanted them to pull back for the sake of safety. Tomoko bit her lower lip and seemed to think about it, waffling on the situation for a moment before she stepped back and away from the chase hesitantly.
"WHOEVER THAT WAS, I'LL STAY BACK." she shouted over the masses of people. "LET US KNOW WHAT IS HAPPENING IF IT GETS WORSE SO WE CAN COME HELP." Tomoko stepped back, nearly tripping over her tails as she retreated back closer to the school to wait for the situation that was to come after this chase.
Who was that man? Why was he saying the students had killed Red? Wait, what? She'd known the professor was..dead..but..what??
A small part of the kitsune was horrified by the thought.

Lark had no idea what was going on, but after regrouping and refocusing, she turned to call out to Roch. "What is goin' ON here, Roch?! 'n who is that?!" The answer didn't matter entirely. All Lark knew was that her classmates were up in arms about this situation, and Lark was spoiling for a fight.

Running on all fours had allowed the Chupacabra to catch up swiftly, her center of gravity that much lower and her weight actually working with her to act as a decent propel. How long it had been since....well, actually? Had Chuppi ever dared attack someone before? The Chupacabra, even while sparring with Tomo-chan and playing with the others, had never raised her first before in anger towards anyone.
The man or woman, whoever was in the cloack, had managed to make her upset enough that she actually wished to do harm to them, and Chuppi took a deep breath as she reached for that cold spot she knew to be her FEAR. It only took a moment and she was upon the individual, her small body rotating swiftly as she used her quills to get in a good strike.
She landed back down against the ground after contact, rolling away before getting back onto all fours. She looked so feral, so ready for a brawl, and inwardly the monster hoped she had done something to help.
HP: 40/40

Probably because she was being carried by Jericho, but Lizzy felt less out of breath and more energetic than when she was being dragged along by the boil.
The cloaked figure's - she was fairly sure it was that hunter - words caused her to frown, her lips twisted into an irritated frown; she wasn't exactly in a good mood, after all, and this man... He was taunting them? Sure, this might be a trap but what about Shehk? There was no way she was abandoning the ghoul!

Ben was already moving before Lark had a chance to spit out a command. With surprising grace of motion, Ben was bounding after the robed figure. It didn't matter -- for every long leap that the kangaroo made after the target, the figure moved even further ahead. Forever out of reach.
Lark followed at a slower pace, but she was able to see the massive hurt that Chuppi laid down on the cloaked figure.
"Good onya, Chup! Bloody oath, what a beauty!"

((Phone post)) Bul mouthed a sorry to Mei when she appeared upset with his poor decision making. As Willow approached he was rather quick to respond with, "We're okay but this s**t could get uglym I'm staying incase someone needs help. Otherwise I'd just be in the way. " His eyes narrowed when the area of the gym they were left in became quiet. Or quieter at least. -- Was he insulting them? Why? He already had the ghoul Pepin saw it as rather pointless to boast over other things like the fallen gym teacher. It had still failed to sink in to the extremity as it did for her peers but as far as she was concerned this Guy was the target and like any scarecade game there would be high scores. As good as Xanders senses of sight, smell, and hearing were, he could barely make out the words that the robed...thing..holding the student was saying. His eyes were wide and slightly panicked looking as he glanced around yet again at those who had stayed behind, for whatever reason. He could still see others trying to make their way over or around fallen bodies, to no avail. Finally he began to move. It was a slow movement, as he was continuously snagging his skeletal toes along the ground, causing himself to stumble. What had happened to the zombie who had somehow done so well in the dance game? That zombie was able to move his feet without faltering our falling down...so what was the problem now? Was it just because he was so confused? It was true that his head felt full to bursting with questions, and so far, he hadn't had any solid answers from anybody. His eyes fell on the white haired ghoul, some distance away as she tried desperately to make her way over to the fight. Maybe she could tell him what was going on. He made his way towards her as best he could, stumbling, falling, and finally, crawling along for a ways before pushing himself back up to his feet. "Hey..Hey you!" He yelled at her, pushing the hair that had fallen in front of his eyes back from his face. The poor ghoul looked stunned...and angry. He wasn't sure this was the best time for questions, but he just couldn't help himself. "Can you please tell me...what is going on??" But she was being thrown onto some boils back, and they were now running off towards the battle themselves. It seemed that for now, Xander was going to remain ignorant. Maybe he could find somebody else to answer his questions. ((Roll result: Fail~))

Disregarding the fact that Pepin had met a fellow once by the name of Perot Jenkins she was o into the game that she herself became a raider.

"That b*****d is a HUNTER," Roch growled, hauling one of the tripped students to their feet without bothering to see who it was. "He just kidnapped Shehk, now he's luring us into another jackin' trap--and jackin' candlewax," he said in awe, his eyes on the attack Chuppi had just pulled off.
"OYE, CHUPPI!! YOU ROCK SCREECHIE!" he bellowed, cupping his hands around his mouth. "That was jackin' BEAUTIFUL!"

Smiling when mouthed an apology, Mei gave him a small peck on the cheek before looking to Willow when she asked of their condition. When Bul spoke, she bit her at her lower lip, watching as some of the other students continued to give chase. "Bul, I'll be right back. No doubt, people are going to get injured, and if my FEAR healing can help out, at least a little..I want to see if I can help out any way I can." Still a little shaky on her feet, she gave him another kiss before standing to her full height.
She felt bad for choosing to leave, she wanted to stay to be honest. But after witnessing the battle with Red and the hunters--she would feel awful for having to stay behind when she could possibly offer assistance. Giving his hand a light squeeze, she ran off in the direction of the attacker.

Perhaps it was because she was annoyed, frustrated and just generally feeling in a punching mood thanks to a certain reaper boil, but her next attack landed a hit despite how shaky her ride was - she could only hope that her attack had reached the man and not Shehk.
