Team 1  N a m e Camille Leah Anderson N i c k n a m e Cammie A g e 18 G e n d e r Female R a c e Shifter T e a m One P e r s o n a l i t y Camille is very social but with working twice as hard to conceal her secret it has put her in a little bad mood at times and she'll turn into a monster if you set her off. Camille is more of a team work kind of gal then a soloist. She loves to fight and will fight almost anyone to train herself to be stronger. She tries to be nice to everyone from her gentle nature but once you're on her bad side there's almost no getting off it. She tries to act tough most times thinking it's the only way people will listen to her knowing from experience with her own parents. B i o In her Family Camille was known as the sweet one, the innocent one, the one who always managed to do things right. Inside Camille is a warrior. She secretly went to fight in the games and left a letter for her parents in case they got worried.
She never told her parents she was accepted into a school for such rigorous training. She had somehow managed to keep it under raps until her junior year and then she was scouted her senior year. She hasn't yet broke it to her parents but she knows they won't understand her.
She was raised as an only child but she wasn't her parents first. They had a child before her but she died very young from a very rare blood disease. Of course they were just equally happy to have another baby girl. Because of their first loss though they put in more precautions for Camille. She was not allowed to go out as much like the other kids. She has had a sheltered life and although she was sheltered she felt very loved.
Being so sheltered she also had a lot of free time for herself. Because she had a lot of access in the family garden she had a lot of time to train herself to fight. With these skills she was once in the marketplace picking up groceries for the family when she was attacked and almost robbed where she was scouted. O t h e r Nyan. Elemental  N a m e Father Darkness N i c k n a m e Deciever, Dark one, Prince of lies A g e Ancient, looks 21 G e n d e r male R a c e Elemental, Father Darkness Role Predator P e r s o n a l i t y Darkness can be comforting if you follow his way of life, or he can be the thing you fear most in this world. He's usually quiet, but mysterious and always seems to know more than he lets on. He argues incessantly with Light and he hates her piercing goodness. B i o One of the oldest elementals, Father Darkness is always trying to corrupt any intelligent life he can reach. he hates all intelligent life that he hasn't turned. Father Flame's action wasn't something Darkness disagreed with, but it gave fire a better influence over the humans, and Darkness couldn't have that. He was the one who first requested punishment and argued the most passionately for maximum consequences.
Since the beginning of time the other elementals try to keep him from being too influential with the animals of earth. But then some of the more intelligent life showed up, and Darkness knew they were ripe for his ways. He caused the more powerful to enslave and torture those weaker then themselves and sees that as only a small victory. The recent actions of the other elementals has caused Darkness to follow them down to the mortal realm to try and make sure Zeladis wins this game. The literal meaning of the word seems to be "that which snatches" as it comes from the ancient Greek word harpazein (ἁρπάζειν), which means "to snatch". Hesiod calls them two "lovely-haired" creatures, and pottery art depicting the harpies featured beautiful women with wings. Zeus also used them as messangers, although not in the way you think. In this form they were agents of punishment who abducted people and tortured them on their way to Tartarus. They were vicious, cruel and violent. They lived on Strophades. They were usually seen as the personifications of the destructive nature of wind. They are known for their inhumane strength and speed. They are masters of just about any weapon they touch, so they make excellent warriors of offense and defense.
Limitations: Harpies can only eat what they steal or work for. If they eat anything other, the become violently sick. Sad thing is, they can tell no one this secret. Bound by an immortal law, a harpy's weaknesses and secrets are to never be spoken. Also, if you bound their wings, they lose 90% of their strength, making them useless and immobile.T e a mTwoP e r s o n a l i t yThere are basically two sides to Kaia: Side number one is the side very few are allowed to see. She can be very sweet and caring, but isn't really allowed to express that. Her kind naturally shuns any kind of weaknesses, including emotional ones, which means no lovers. Mating is very rare since harpies have an odd way of finding their mates. A harpy can not harm or kill their lover and often have a telepathic connection with them. Once a harpy finds her mate, they are bound for life, even if their said mate is mortal. Needless to say, Kaia has not found her mate and hasn't bothered really looking for one, either. The other side to Kaia is the side she has been taught to express. Stubborn, quick-witted, and sharp tongued, she lets no one boss her around. Harpies thrive on their strength and often test each other in battle, the loser having to hang their head in shame. The elders of their clan give each harpy her "name", meaning what they think of her. For example, they may call someone "Jill the Brave" and that would be her name until the elders decided different. The game Kaia has been sent to is the test she is to take to receive her own name.B i oFrom a young age, Kaia was trained to be a warrior. Weakness was shunned in her clan and often resulted in the weaker being killed off the the stronger. Somehow, Kaia managed to survive, the only child out of her three siblings. Her mother who was so proud of her daughter's achievements, found the best tutors in weaponry and knowledge, wanting to make sure her daughter would one day be the best. As the years passed, the trial for the games grew closer and only the best harpy warriors could be chosen. Each family selected one child to enter into an all out battle, the last remaining child the victor. Needless to say, there was a lot of bloodshed and Kaia struggled her way to the top. Coming out first, the clan sent her with their blessings to the game, swearing if she returned the victor, her "name" would be given the top honor and her family would be set for life. If she failed, however, she would be known as Kaia the Failure and her family would be forever shamed. Of course, she could not refuse the offer her elders gave her and thus she was shipped off to the games.O t h e rHer favorite weapons are her scythe and dual blades, though when push comes to shove, she's not picky. The princess suffers from constant mood swings and all of her decisions are a direct result of acting on a whim. She holds no value for human life and does not understand the meaning of friendship. Everyone is replaceable. Everyone except her brother that is. Over time, her brother has become the one man she considers to be ideal. No one can ever match up to him and she considers him to be the epitome of perfection. If you happen to be vying for her brother attentions, better watch out. None can be more cunning and vindictive than the Princess. She is as cold and ruthless as her parents when she wants to be and can turn things around n an instant to play the perfect victim. B i oUnlike her brother who rose above the cattle and was randomly selected to be named crown prince, Kryein was born and bred for the position of power. Only the smartest, most intelligent humans are hand selected and forced to copulate to produce a litter of the most beautiful and intelligent specimens available. It was in one of these circuits that she was born and was raised in a group of similar children. Through regulated studies and constant tests, Kryein achieved what the rest didn't and caught the eye of the king and queen.
On the eve of her eighteenth birthday, Kryein received the diving kiss and was formally adopted into the royal family. From there she began to discover her powers and trained daily with a tutor in the art of shadow mastery to uphold the family honor. Weakness is worse than death.
Though she has been the only other person other than her brother to be worthy of the royal title, her brother does not often look her way. It frustrates her immensely but perhaps it is this cold and uncaring attitude that has her so obsessed with him. It's not often that the Jewel of Zeladis cannot turn a head or keep someone's stare. When her brother was picked for the games, Kryein insisted on going with him, intent to prove her worth to her brother since he is the only one who has not yet acknowledged her.O t h e rKryein can manipulate shadows. They do not hold any tangible substance type but be careful if you find her standing in yours. She has the ability to take control of someone's actions once she has placed a foot into their shadow. She also has the ability to hide in darkness, by wrapping the shadows about her to blot out the white of her skin.
Etele blood is her favorite and she considers it quite a treat when she can get a hold of some. She has a handsome male captive at home and takes special care of him- mainly because he tastes divine. Kryein is quite picky with her food. She prefers strong, hearty men who are pleasing to look at but will feed from an attractive woman if they eat mainly fruit. It makes them taste like dessert. According to legend, anyone who was unable to solve the riddle of the sphinx was not only forbidden to pass – they were immediately devoured.
However, held back by unknown forces, a sphinx is unable to attack it's potential prey--unless it is not intelligent or has attacked her first--until after the riddle has been failed or refused to be answered. If the riddle is answered correctly, she, again, is unable to attack the victim until another riddle has been issued.R o l lPredatorP e r s o n a l i t yBenevolent - Phix normally has no ill will towards those who cross her path, although that does not mean she is passive. Like most of the creatures that dwell in the forest, she too needs food and thus has no qualms in killing those to fail to solve her riddles. Either they were just unlucky or stupid, in her eyes. Still, when waiting for answers, she wishes the best of luck to her victims in hopes that they are smart enough to solve her riddles so that she may let them pass peacefully. Often, she offers those who seek her help assistance as long as they answer her questions correctly or give her good enough reasons.
Determined - As a natural guardian, she can have quite a hard head when it comes to keeping what she is in charge of safe, whether it's jewels, items, a place or person. It's better to simply play by her rules than to try and force her into anything since she does have the power of a lion in both strength and weapons. Until discharged from her guarding position or her responsibility having been won from her, she'll remain alert and on the defensive to keep whatever it is safe from the world.
Cunning - With her love for riddles, it's should be no surprise that the sphinx has quite a quick-witted mind. She loves learning new riddles and solving them as much as she loves giving them to other people to solve. Although, this is not her only ability. Also a great strategist, she can normally tell who will struggle with her riddles and who will easily fall, and thus she will issue the riddle to the weakest link. Not all meals come easy, so one has to be able to pick which man or animal will fall the quickest.
B i oShe was sent by the gods to plague the town of Thebes as punishment for some ancient crime. There she preyed on the youths of the land, devouring all those who failed to solve her riddle. Kreon, the then regent of Thebes, offered the kingship to any man who could destroy her. Oidipous accepted the challenge, and when he solved the Sphinx's riddle, she cast herself off a mountainside in despair and in accordance with an oracle declaring the terms of her demise.
Unknown to those of her past, the leap from the mountain did not kill her, but instead allowed her to ascend back to the heavens from which she was sent. As a reward for her deeds, she was set free into an ancient forest where other creatures like herself thrived in peace, for the most part. She was to live a life most comfortable, only sought after during the trials of the mortal games for her aid.O t h e rThe word sphinx comes from the Greek Σφίγξ, apparently from the verb σφίγγω (sphíngō), meaning "to squeeze", "to tighten up". This name may be derived from the fact that the hunters for a pride of lions are the lionesses, and kill their prey by strangulation, biting the throat of prey and holding them down until they die. The word sphincter derives from the same root. However, the historian Susan Wise Bauer suggests that the word "sphinx" was instead, a Greek corruption of the Egyptian name "shesepankh," which meant "living image," and referred rather to the statue of the sphinx, which was carved out of "living rock" (rock that was present at the construction site, not harvested and brought from another location), than to the beast itself.
