On the ride there, at the first glance of the ocean they had to pass over, Inigo looked vaguely sick and refused to look out the windows again until they landed. The slightly nauseous feeling remained even then, so the impact of the large building that housed the Machine was mostly lost on him. When they had to fight another set of Galactics, he let out three of his pokemon again. Leilani again started charging a Solarbeam, while he gestured vaguely at the pair of Whimsicott.
Bonnie quickly scanned the potential targets before she grabbed one of Clyde's horns and yanked his head down to her level. "Whimsi!" She pointed at the Kangaskahn and he nodded, so the pair bounced over as quickly as possible to the thrashing pokemon. They jumped up in unison, attempting to latch onto various parts of its body to avoid being squashed and aiming a double-dose of Mega Drain to the poor confused pokemon.

(Alkurah) On the ground, Alkurah twitched as the first drops of rain began to fall, pattering lightly in an increasing tempo. Though conscious, she was paralyzed, eyes wide and staring toward the darkened sky.
(Duhr) The giant fish sort of sat there, even while Ire bit and filled it with electricity. It didn't show any indication of moving, attacking, or doing anything except staring. Duhr meanwhile, gave Uta an incredulous look and swatted at the pokemon. (Jih) The Kangaskhan attempted to counter absol's aerial ace with a mega punch, head on. The pokeon was too distracted to notice the two little fur balls attatch to it, and roared out in pain as they drained away its life energy. Jih, frozen in place and unable to move, couldn't do much to avoid the shadow ball, which promptly knocked him out, and caused him to fall in a way that made his leg bend at a strange angle.
(Kleeiah) "NO!" Kleeiah shrieked in frustration, inches from the device only to have a purple streak snatch it away. She rounded on the male Galactics, revealing a large run in her tights as she got up - then tipped over. "Get the Commander! These are fakes!" The Galactic tore angrily at the sticky web around her ankles.
Her Pokemon, meanwhile, had issues of their own - the Gardevoir swooped swiftly out of the way of Sebastian's Bite, only to find herself ensnared with the Starmie in Mise's Spider Web, directly in the way of Eclair's Thunderbolt. The elegant Pokemon flinched visibly from the electric attack's increased power in the coming rainstorm and shivered. Eclair would find a similar wave of paralysis running through her body thanks to the psychic Pokemon's Synchronize ability.
These guards had better-trained Pokemon than the hapless grunts in the hangar. Slim arms wrapped around the Starmie in a protective coil, the Gardevoir narrowed red eyes at the group of intruders just before the sky cracked overhead in a Thunder attack from the starfish Pokemon, powered up by the Gardevoir's additional Thunderbolt. The area attacks aimed, if that was the word, for the Pokemon nearest the pair - namely Mise, Eclair, and Sebastian.

Two distinct but simultaneous cries of "whimsiii!" floated up from the pair of grass-types as they subjected the Kangaskahn to another double-attack of Mega Drain. He wasn't down yet, so they'd make sure when he went down, he didn't get back up.
Inigo spotted the Gardevoir and Starmie aiming for two of Aila's pokemon - especially Eclair - so he pointed Leilani in that direction. The Meganium happily and readily complied and fired a Solarbeam at the pair of Galactic pokemon.

Sebastian flew by the Gardevoir and landed on his feet. He turned around ready to try again when a combined thunder and thunderbolt attack suddenly headed his way. Being inexperienced, he froze, eyes wide at the double attack.
It was difficult to tell weather he passed out from fright before the attack or the attack it’s self was hard to tell. Either way after the lighting flash was over there was a black and green crumpled heap on the ground afterwards.
Agent Panther was displeased. Before the pokemon could get hurt by another one a he recalled it, and shuffled around his belt deciding who to throw out next.

HA! Silly human thought they could fight back? Uta attempted to wrap the decorative tassle around the human's arm before unleashing an icy wind in his face.
Ire stared at the the flying/water fish. It didn't even flinch. Without waiting for another order, she growled, calling up a toxic attack, launching the poisonous gunk at the thing. Die damn you!

Absol might have the benefit of a strong attack, but unlike Umbreon, Absol suffered most with the weakness of his defense. So when the attack hit him, Faleen could only hear the start of a yelp before it was snuffed out, and see her Absol being thrown back through the air toward her. the large white pokemon hitting the ground hard and tumbling to a stop.
Faleen stared, not moving from her spot, or going toward Absol, who moved slowly at first, but was trying to get himself back to his feet. Faleen didn't want to think about what kind of damage that had done to her pokemon, and she wasn't about to end the fight there becasue of it, these people needed to be handled.
Faleen was thankful that Inigo's pokemon were there to help, This pokemon was proving to be tougher then expected. "Another Ice beam" she told Absol, when the pokemon finally managed to drag himself shakily to his feet, claws digging into the earth, one eye closed from obvious pain. He did as he was told though, eyes fixed on the pokemon who attacked him. Ice Beam on the Kangaskhan.
Banette widened his zipped mouth, taking a bow to the knocked out Galactic, before he spun around New Target! Hmmm "BAN BANETTE" Banette called and swooped forward, using his Double Team to surround as many of the Galactics as he could, smirking at them darkly from all around.

(Kleeiah) Eclair let out a long, pitiful 'chaaaa.' She was used to paralyzing but not being paralyzed. It didn't feel nice. "Give it another Thunderbolt," her human said encouragingly. The Pikachu struggled against the effects of paralysis and managed to volley another of the electric attacks against the Starmie and Gardevoire. The Meganium's sudden presence at her side was reassuring, and Aila gave a brief nod to Leilani's trainer in thanks for the assistance.
Mise, unfortunately, scarcely stood a chance against the onslaught of electricity, and he staggered backwards, trembling from the force of the blows. "Fall back," Aila allowed; the spider's webs were useful, though, and so she kept him at her feet in case there was opportunity to ensnare the enemy further. Being her least favorite type of pokemon unfortunately meant that he would receive no reprise, even if as little as a mean look could render him unconscious. To replace the bug in combat, the agent introduced her Mismagius to the fray, though the ghost type regarded her trainer with an expression that was less than amused. "Busy day," Aila apologized. "Psybeam those two, if you will." Revenant heaved a sigh but did as requested nonetheless, vaulting a blast of psychic energy against the Starmie and Gardevoire.

Chora made a mad dash back to Luxury, white thing clutched in her teeth. Taking it, she was just about to hand it off to 1337 or better yet Kunai when the whole world lit up.
The grunt's jaw dropped. When the flash subsided, there was Sebastain, laying fainted on the ground. Trae's pokeball wiggled, and Luxury gripped it tightly. She couldn't let her out, not now.
On second thought... With a flash of red, Trae exploded from her ball. One look to the battle field and she was seeing red. They hurt Sebastian. Eyes narrowed and teeth bared, she rushed the nearest enemy pokemon with her Bite attack.
Swallowing and regaining composure, she looked around. Kunai was closest, and the head of the mission, so she ran over to her. "Elite Kunai, Chora swiped this from one of the guards." Luxury held out the white object, having no clue as to what it was but knowing it was important.

(Jih's Kangaskhan) No matter how much the Pokemon thrashed about, it couldn't get rid of the two Whimsicott clinging to her. They continued to leech away her energy until she fell down with a heavy thud. However, as if to make sure the Kangaskhan stayed down, the absol's icebeam seemed to certainly do the job, encasing the large Pokemon in a block of ice for the time being.
(Duhr) Apparently swatting at the chimecho wasn't enough. It wrapped its tassle about Duhr's arm, then followed that up with a fierce icy wind. It was all too much, and quite quickly, the Galactic was on the ground, passed out with his face frozen in a ridiculous manner.
(Kleeiah) "GET- OFF-" Kleeiah removed the last traces of sticky webbing and stumbled to her feet, picking up blades of grass on her fingers that flaked off as she tried to make her way over to the fallen Jih. A dark streak zipped in front of her. "What-" And again. Kleeiah shook her head and angrily charged through Banette's Double Team to reach her teammate, ignoring his broken form in favor of the white device at his belt.
Still unable to move, Kleeiah's Gardevoir hugged the Starmie close just as the combined attacks of all Pokemon hit and knocked them out - but before her eyes closed, they fixed on the Meganium with the pearly gleam of Future Sight.

AH! that one was moving! Banette cackled, and all at once the many forms of the ghost Pokemon rushed the women Kleeiah. his now very solid body slamming his whole body into the back of the elbow that was outstretched. Blinking at the device that she had been reaching for as he tried to snatch it away instead.
Faleen noticed that the women Banette and his double team was swarming was reaching for something. She blinked and pointed to it. "We need to take this one out!" To anyone around to help
Absol turned, at Faleen's yell, panting lightly, and lowering his head. planning to use a Night Slash to help put Kleeiah out of commission.

Uta had been brave and valiant! The evil human had been defeated! Huzzah! He let go of the human's arm. Oh, there was the ball the pokemon came from. Uta started wrapping his tassle around it and picked it up.
"CHONG!" Oh wait, he was supposed to be quiet. Uta hurridly took the pokeball to Mau. The Gyarados hadn't been doing anything... Mau attempted to call it back to the pokeball.

Panther’s hand fell, the second pokemon was unneeded. Though Trae’s sudden enthusiasm surprised him. A knowing smile crossed his lips.
This was no time to celebrate though, he glanced at Kunai looking for the step. He figured that would be going in the building, in disguise

OOC: OMAIGOD IT'S LATE. Moving things along. ^^ In the interest of not being up all hours of the night tomorrow, I'm going to progress the Rockets a bit in this post.
- - -
After their quick victory against the guards the group would find access to the facility made relatively easy by use of one of the access cards hanging off their belts. Swiping the card through a reader beside the door earned them a loud click and the door swung open. It was metal and heavy. The walls were at least three feet thick. This place was built like a bomb shelter.
It was eerily dark inside. A narrow walkway with a metal grate floor lay ahead of them. Hallways stretched along the curve of the outer wall to their left and right. Immediately overhead hung a secondary metal door, dangling like a guillotine. The entire building seemed primed to go into lockdown mode. Had those guards managed to sound the alarm, the Rockets never would have made it inside. While the facility didn't appear to be heavily staffed, it was built so that the few Galactics there could keep intruders out.. if those intruders didn't get the jump on them by arriving in a Galactic vehicle.
The fortunate Rockets wouldn't have a very long trek into the heart of the building. The Machine did take up most of it, after all. There seemed to be an outer ring containing a perimeter hallway and another layer of the guillotine-like doors, waiting to drop. Some stealth would have to be employed passing two security cameras, but with the help of their ghost pokemon it wasn't too difficult. Ghost detectors really would be a worthy investment. Perhaps it'd go on Deimos' invention list after this day.
At the end of the dimly-lit passage stood another pair of closed doors. As the group approached these doors they would finally be able to hear the sound. It had been soft and difficult to make out at first, but as they progressed it grew more prevalent. A deep electrical hum layered with a strange symphony of whirring gears, hissing hydraulics and clinking metal. It wasn't offensively loud or even unpleasant, but it had a strange intensity. Like the atmosphere of this place was made up by it. It was like being inside a living thing. The Machine was on the other side of these doors, waiting for them.
After employing use of the guard's card a second time, the heavy doors gave a satisfying click and opened. They swung outward slowly in a manner that almost seemed deliberately dramatic. The group was confronted with an imposing view. The central room of Installation 01 was so large that the opposing wall was difficult to make out. It was a circular room with the feel of a stadium or an arena. Bright lights shone down from the distant ceiling, cutting lines through the darkness and shining circles over the various walkways like great spotlights. Catwalks dangled all around in dozens of layers. Most snaked around the exterior edge of the machine itself.
The Machine. It looked like the donut-shaped device from the briefing room, but about 500 times bigger. It loomed three stories tall, coiled in a massive ring. Dark metal and complex layers of mechanical whatsits and blinking lights made the thing up. Wires snaked all over its surface and it spit steam from scattered valves. It looked like an alien mothership from a scifi movie. A metal walkway like the one they'd come in on ran along the outer edge of the contraption. In fact, all the walkable flooring in the room was made up of walkways. The actual floor below them was dark and hard to see, lost in a myriad of thick electrical cables. Evenly spaced along The Machine were giant glowing glass orbs, set into the dark metal surface. Coiled cords and pipes ran to and from them, linking back into the machine. Beside each orb was a round platform and a console. Of the orbs visible on this side of The Machine most were empty, but a couple were occupied by the legendary pokemon from the list they'd seen earlier. Their best view was of the orb containing Azelf. The little blue psychic type was floating in the center of the orb, which seemed to be filled with a liquid. Wires hung from key points of its body and looped toward the back of the sphere. It appeared to be unconscious.
The walkway the Rockets stood on continued straight ahead, through a break in The Machine, to a massive computer station at its center. Off to their left, standing at one of the orb platforms were Deimos, Tethys and five Galactics. A Keldeo was suspended in the orb beside them. The group looked to be focused on their work, typing at the console and adjusting mechanisms on The Machine's wall. When the doors opened they looked up at the sound.. and stared. They weren't alone in the massive room. A few other Galactics were scattered around, performing various jobs. Some looked like scientists, some looked like guards. They all looked surprised by the new arrivals.
Tethys was the first to speak - into her communicator as she dropped a hand to a holster, not taking her eyes off the Rockets. "Star, I'm going to kill you."
- - -
OOC: You've arrived at the machine! Please refrain from making any posts containing actions after the point of opening the inner doors until we get going tomorrow. Feel free to make posts about events prior to that point. And just because I know my descriptive skills are absolutely horrible, here is a super simple map of wtf I'm talking about. Bear in mind that doesn't include the catwalks, which are hanging walkways all over the place at various heights. The main walkway isn't the only way to get around or to the computer at the center.
This post may see some additions during the day tomorrow. If it does they should be pretty easy to spot. :3

(Backdated. As usual. >_>; )
Izaya, having noticed Faleen's dark-eyed Absol come up beside him, smiled at it as they hurried toward the Yanmega. The grunt had suspected from the start that it might have been the fastest mech - at least of the pokemon mechs capable of flight - due mainly to the fact that the pokemon it was based off of was known for its high speed.
However, he'd left the choice up to his superiors yet again. He hadn't wanted to say anything when he knew so little about the Galactics and then be blamed for poor choices later. He liked to know everything about a particular enemy before he started making speculations. It seemed the only reason they had chosen the Yanmega over the normal-looking black jets was simply its capacity to carry more Rockets, anyway.
If Nakura felt any gratitude toward his partner for sending her Absol to help him, he didn't express it. His pride had been wounded enough from having had Panther's ghost finish off a Galactic for him. So when Faleen brought the man's bleeding cut on his side to his attention, Izaya looked down at it, as if noticing just how much crimson was soaking his Galactic uniform for the first time.
"Ah...you're right," he said absently. "I'll be fine. Looks like there are others who need attention more critically than me," he added, glancing about at their gathered group of battle-worn Rockets. "One of them caught me by surprise is all," he chuckled, noting the frown on her lips. It was embarrassing enough to have had to sustained the attack. He should have been more alert. Why had he been so engaged in trying to communicate with Celty?
"You handled your pokemon extraordinarily well," Nakura complimented his partner, though he knew it would probably mean little coming from him. He was no expert in pokemon himself, nor was he even her peer in rank. Still, the way she had handled her Sharpedo, even as he had rushed at her with open jaws, had certainly been something. He felt lucky to have a partner so experienced with pokemon; especially those of the dark temperment.
"Everyone did. That was definately entertaining." Bonnie and Clyde's little show and been especially amusing, as had many of the other Rockets' pokemon. They had all done really well. Perhaps they were more reliable creatures than Izaya had originally given them credit for.
From the view provided by one of the red-tinted windows onboard the Yanmega, Nyx seemed to be having a little chat with the man called 'Star'. Though as soon as their business was concluded, his lights were immediately punched out. It was almost a shame. Izaya would have liked to chat it up with him a little, but that didn't seem very likely given their chosen alignments and the circumstances their teams were under. Ah, well. Perhaps another time. Who knew what the future had in store for them all?
Stepping aside as Faleen greeted the elite agent with a smile, he turned to find a place of his own in the Yanmega craft. It would be a long journey to Johto, after all. Though he had never before left Kodo, he knew the trip would be lengthy time-wise from the numerous maps on the reigons he had studied in the library.
There seemed to be a lot of interesting pokemon from that particular reigon. In fact, if he wasn't mistaken, Johto was the place he'd read that the Red Gyarados experiment had been conducted at the Lake of Rage. It seemed Galactic wasn't the only team that had found that particular reigon enticing; Team Rocket seemed to have had their fair share of past plans carried out there. How intriguing.
Upon hearing 1337's and Elite Agent Kunai's exchange outside, Izaya wondered vaguely why the pink-haired higher-up didn't just leave the hacker to his own devices. If he didn't want to come with them, why should she bother? They could just leave him here if he was going to be stubborn. Really, why did the short woman put up with him?
Again, he wondered if there was any romantic relation between the pair. He'd already spotted more signs than he'd cared to see of romantic feelings that teammates had for each other on this mission. It made him want to laugh. He wouldn't forget any of those intersting little tidbits any time soon.
Speaking of which, Hayes and the scarred man where laughing it up again. Scarface seemed to be forcibly attending to Hayes' injury, almost man-handling him as he did so. Izaya found himself staring at them. He was glad Faleen hadn't done the same to him, but still.
There was something he envied about the relationship those agents had. They seemed genuinley concerned about each other's well-being. It was a weakness in a way, that concern for another...but wouldn't it have been...less lonely?
Izaya turned to spot his recruiter; the one who had one-sidedly declared him her fried just a few days prior to the raid. He still hadn't really quite understood what that had been about. She knew she could be used; that she was exposing a weakness by confirming that she cared about him. She'd experienced all that before.
But why, then, did a young lady like her so well-versed in the cruel ways of the world still want to make herself vulnerable? He just didn't get it. Aila was still just as much a mystery to him as she'd always been. Turning back around to face forward in his seat, he sighed, crossed his legs and folded his arms. Ouch. He had to mind that cut to his side. As for his pokemon, Nakura knew they hadn't been involved enough in battle for him to worry about any wounds they might have gained.
Surprisingly, Faleen came to his side not long after they had started moving, equipped with a first aid kit though she appeared to have suffered no extensive damage herself. Nakura could only assume she meant for the kit to be for his cut, and he grinned at her in spite of himself. Of course; they were partners. It was their duty to look out for each other, whether they cared about each other personally not. Why had he gotten so worked up about Hayes and Scarface earlier? It had been the same partner relation for them. Nothing more, nothing less.
"Thank you," he said gratefully at last, accepting the kit to tend to his cut before she went to offer Mau her pliers. He was glad she was needed elsewhere; to have had to keep up witty banter with her as Hayes and his own partner had been doing would have just been embarrassing. He respected Faleen, but they didn't seem to have much in common and, thus, not much to converse about.
Izaya had seen his high school friend Shinra tend to his wounds enough times to know how to use a basic first-aid kit. By the time he had finished and put everything away, they were already at their destination. The Yanmega really had proved to be fast, after all.

As their group exited the Yanmega craft, Izaya hung behind the others, watching as Aila and Sierra sent out their teams. The way they coordinated their pokemon, especially the way Sierra spoke to her own as if they were humans, made the grunt think about his past talk with Claire in the laundry room. Was it really better to treat pokemon like people?
Aila's seemed to listen to her just fine with minimal instruction and encouragement. Still, Izaya suspected from Luciole the Jirachi's opinion of Aila that the teenage agent was more affectionate with her own pokemon than she showed in public. Who knew for sure? It would take a heck of a lot more convincing before he treated his own pokemon affectionately, though.
Faleen aided her fellow female Rockets with Absol soon after, and Tambrey, though her arm was injured again, did the same, but with a more subtle approach. Nakura watched the onslaught with a pitying smile. Four Galactic grunts weren't even close to cutting it. However, it was somewhat unnerving to know that something this large, important, and secret only had four guards posted on the outside. There had to be more security and dangers within.
Nyx's boyfriend sent out his peculiar-looking Chimeco to quitely confuse the enemy. It was strange sending a pokemon out that resembled a wind chime to do quiet work, but the pokemon obeyed its orders flamboyantly. Panther's Sebastian and Luxury's Chora did their own parts.
Izaya did not want to be on the recieving end of Bonnie's little tantrums. It seemed that even when instructing her partner, Clyde, the little Whimsicott was rather rough. He watched the pair use a sycronized Mega Drain on the confused Kangaskahn and started to feel sorry for it. What rotten luck to be a Galactic pokemon. Too bad they didn't seem to have the brains to choose the smart side for themselves.
Though the guard's pokemon seemed to be better-trained than ones owned by Galactics in the last battle, they were still horribly outnumbered. Though the double electric-type attacks did their damage on Absol and Sebastian, the Gyarados almost seemed to be as inanimate as the mech version back in the hangar - the one Neph had been attacking. It was curiously unnerving, seeing something that potentially dangerous so still; especially while knowing it could lash out at any unexpected moment.
Nakura was half-tempted to take out one or two of his own pokemon to help. By the time he was seriously considering it, however, having weighed the possible advantages and disadvantages of being a part of the fight, it was over. He dropped his hand as he followed the others into the facility once it was opened with an access card.
