The brit was just about to text America when suddenly jolted from the door open and someone practically hugged attacked him then not even given a second to recover was dragged inside.

It took him a moment to gather who and what was going on. The one who appeared to be excited to have him there was none other than Leah. Which threw him for a loop, since it had been way too long since the last time he was hugged by her.

Looking around he noticed that not all of the states where there. He was thrown for another loop when he saw the same girl that was caught by the giant bird that they fought just a minute ago. The Englishman knew she was in bad shape since he too heard the sound of her bones crack but he didn't realize it was this bad.

Before he could say anything, the little runt just had to point to him as if he was his fault to fix. Being picked up and slammed against a wall did take him by surprised and cringed as some air got knocked out of him. Normally he would start getting defensive like he would with France but this kid was seriously out of whack. But what caused him to remain from saying anything was the look in the state's eyes. For some strange reason he could picture Alfred doing the same... exact... thing... What would the brit do if the America the hero became desperate like this too?...

Once he was released he walked over to the girl on the couch. She was getting weaker, that much was obvious. The blood flow was probably from a punctured lung or organ from the broken rib. That's right. This girl here is Hawaii. he recalled. Remembering how upset America got when she was injured back at the world war.

Arthur took in a breath and held his wand over her, channeling his magic power, a small green circle flowed around the two as he chanted the spell. The glow went from her chest and flowed along the rest of her body, mending the damage out from the hands of death. It didn't heal her to 100% but now she was able to feel less pain and the parts of her that were dying off are now revived. She was safe. The glow faded once the spell was finished.

England dropped to his knees. The spell had taken a bit out of him since he had already used some not that long ago in the battle. He probably had enough magic left for one more, after that he wouldn't be able to use it again for several hours or until his power returned. But if he should ever over exert himself... well lets just hope that doesn't happen. Arthur looked back to Leah and Andrew "I've done all that I've could." he huffed in tiredness. "She isn't in danger of death and the internal damage has been healed, but the rest she has to heal on her own." The brit got up, not wanting to look weak by staying on the floor.

His clothes were still soaking wet, well mainly his jacket. He took it off. "I'll go hang this in the bathroom, to let it dry until I leave."

As Arthur's magic began to flow into the body of the young state, her inner organs that were beyond help were now rejuvenated with energy and were back to their original, prime state. The blood had now dissappeared from her lungs as it was patched up and the broken rib bone was back in its original place, although still not fully mended yet. Breath entered her mewly-fixed lungs after what seemed like forever but it was only a few moments. Her chest rose and fell as her heart began to pump oxidized blood throughout the rest of her body, color returning to her skin and warmth began to slowly radiate from it once more.

Her consciousness was the last to come from the darkness. Slowly but surely, she could see light once more on the other side of her eyelids, which surprised her. She didn't expect herself to be seeing light after the extensive injuries that she had witheld. But she felt a lot better than death, although she still felt weak for the most part. As her eyelids fluttered open, they quickly closed for a moment, the crystal-blue iris' of her eyes trying to adjust to the light of the room before she opened them once more. Her lips parted slowly as she took in a deep breath before she winced a bit, holding her ribcage, since her rib hadn't fully healed. "I-I..." She began, bewildered as to what happened. But as she looked around, her eyes soon fell upon Arthur. Eyes that had once looked at the nation with such hostility, shone with a kind of compassion and gratitude that was eminant through her entire being.

"A-Arthur," She began before she looked down, realizing that her chest was exposed to everyone in the room. Why did no one at least throw a blanket over her to keep people from seeing her "coastline"? Seeing the shirt that Andrew had dropped on the ground, a frantic Leilani grabbed it before clutching it to her chest, only to realize that there was blood everywhere, from her mouth to her chest to her shoulders, it was everywhere. Closing her eyes for a moment, her face red with embarrassment, she then opened up an eye looking up to the older nation, deciding that she should say her thanks for him, since he did save her life. "Arthur, thank you for saving me." She told him, her voice as sweet and melidious as ever. She said before she slowly forced herself to sit up, strength from the healing flowing through her body, although there was still pain and discomfort from the sustained injuries that weren't healed all the way. Quickly though, she threw on Andrew's shirt so she was now fully clothed in her brother's pajamas. Her brother. This reminded the island state as she turned her head to face the brother that she had almost caused to have a mental breakdown over her. She opened her mouth but choked on what words she should say at the moment. All she knew was that if she had ever died, she would have felt horrible for leaving her brother in such a state. Tears welled up in her eyes as she sniffled, biting her bottom lip as she slowly made her way to her feet, trying to wipe as much blood off of her face as she could with her arm. "Andrew..." She began as she held onto the back of the couch, steadying herself as she tried to move forward to hug her older brother, to tell him how sorry she was for worrying him, but the words just got caught in her throat.

The State of Tennessee
Andrew S. Hickory

Tennessee could only watch Arthur work silently. He didn't understand what any of this meant. Magic was completely foreign to him but even he recognized that the island nation was on a completely different tier of power when compared to the states' skills. Perhaps under different circumstances he would have thought more on the subject and appreciated it greater, but at the moment all that mattered to him was that he could see Hawaii's body slowly regaining its natural color. Andrew sucked in a deep breath when he saw the spell end and Arthur slump to the ground in exhaustion. Had it worked? The volunteer state was almost frightened to find out as he lingered in the background like a lost child.

Then Leilani moved. She spoke. Tennessee couldn't focus on what she was saying and he didn't pay too much attention to what she was doing, either. He had always been very sensitive despite his neutral appearance and attitude to most things, but he had never been a terribly emotional person. The sudden loss then recovery of his baby sister had stressed his capacity far too much for him to process things clearly beyond the simple fact she was alive.

When Hawaii's blue eyes fell on him and she spoke his name, Andrew said nothing in return. His body felt like a machine that had rusted over from his own salty tears. It took a moment before he slowly began to step forward then another hesitant step and suddenly he was rushing to the petite girl and enfolding Leilani in his arms. Tennessee buried his face into her hair and said nothing though his body was shaking like a leaf. He inhaled deeply and held it for a moment before releasing an unsteady sigh as he squeezed out the last few teardrops from his eyes.

"Leilani..." he finally said softly almost as if she wasn't officially there until he could say her name. Andrew wouldn't let go of her but his eyes drifted up to where England was standing and talking about his coat. The boy hesitated and blushed before looking away and nodding quietly. He wasn't sure what to say to the man he had resented most of his life...and had just saved his baby sister.

The Englishman wrung out the excess water from his jacket over the sink. Then hung it in a spot to dry. He came back to the main room to find kid holding the girl. Arthur had noticed how close he seemed to be with Seychelles but now with another state. Perhaps Cherelle was saying the truth that there wasn't anything between them other than friends, not the he ever doubted her word.

He blushed when the girl spoke to him. "You're welcome" he said softly. Soon he felt the boy's eyes on him. "Don't- don't misunderstand, I did only so that I wouldn't have to hear Alfred's belly-aching about it later." he said while looking away. Part of that was true and the other part was just that he didn't want to admit his compassion. "Speaking of which, I need to call Alfred to let him know that Mathew is awake and well. Excuse me." The blond went off to a corner of a room and dailed the American.

Christian returned to the dorm with Melody and Charlotte with him. Immediately and instinctively, he walked over to where Leilani was sitting on the couch and where Tennessee was standing over her, hugging her. Christian plopped down onto the floor in front of the couch in a way so that he was sitting next to Hawaii and leaned his head up against her leg the was a lap dog would to comfort her. Even though he had been in the rain quite a bit and his cloths were still pretty wet, he himself was already close to being dried. in fact, he was drying off so quickly that the water that had been on him was now evaporating into the air, making the area immediately around him humid and therefore giving off the illusion of it being warmer than it really was-- as tended to happen after he went out in the rain or went for a swim. He was tired from all of the running around and fighting he had done today. All of the adrenaline he had for today was spent. Now, he was just in a mellow and tired sort of mood. However, he wasn't going to fall asleep any time soon, if at all tonight.

He glanced up and saw there was blood on and near Leilani's mouth and down her neck. It looked like it might have gone farther than that, but the shirt belonging to Tennessee was hiding whatever damage she may have gotten. He immediately felt worry for his baby sister, but since he saw Leah and Arthur here, he knew they had probably taken care of it. Especially since Tennessee was hugging Leilani when he wasn't a hugger. He scratched his chin lightly before he gave a light sigh. Might as well break the news to everyone who was here.

"The Thunderbird is still alive. It got a little more damage put on it by Denmark, but that's about it... Also, it injured Sweden and it looked like it may have caused him some nerve damage due to a lightning bolt striking him. His friends and family is going to take care of him... If he isn't better by tomorrow, I'll see if I can help him out.... One last thing I need to mention is that someone is controlling the Thunderbird. I didn't get too good of a view of him, especially since he was both hooded and the rain was coming down pretty hard. However, I can confirm he's one of our Native Americans. The problem is that I can't figure out which tribe or nation he belongs to. He was speaking a language that I understood but did not recognize. He was shot in the chest by some guy carrying around a bag like what you see Santa carrying in Christmas movies, but... I think he lived."

Christian looked over to England, who appeared to be on the phone. He wanted to ask so many questions of the nation, whom he had always looked up to as a father. However, he knew better than to try and interrupt him. Still, he couldn't help but look to him like a little kid does when they feel they've been lied to of tricked by their parent. If England looked over, he would be able to see that Christian was pretty much sending a telepathic message of, "You lied to me about the Thunderbird. It is real..." So much for those days when England and Mr. Oglethorpe were constantly getting onto Christian's case for freezing up and crying whenever a thunderstorm came around and telling him that the monsters and demons from the native Tales were just make believe, despite the fact that he always saw weird little creatures and fairies floating around England as a child...

]Massachusetts watched Arthur, she didn't know that spell, she was going to have to read some more books later. For now she listened to what he said, (or tried since he was mumbling.) When he had finished she gave a smile and a small sigh, part of her was really happy Leilani was okay, but Arthur did something she couldn’t do. That just meant she had to learn more magic. Maybe she could ask Arthur to teach her sometime.

She hoped TN wouldn't hate her now, if Arthur didn't show up Leilani would have been dead. All Massy’s fault. She turned her gaze toward Arthur who had left to talk to Al. If she was going to help protect her siblings she was going to need to learn some more black magic. Then she turned to the floor with her Black magic books scattered around the floor. She went over to them and closed them and picked all 10 of them up. She would have to read them all later.

She didn't want to go back to her dorm to put the books back so she put them by the door so she could get them later. Then GA came in, "Bloody Native America's can't them learn there place!" she said a bit angry. "I thought I taught them a lesson last time...." she said crossing her arms over her chest.

The h e went on that he didn't know what tribe there from. "Well I know most of the tongues spoken back then, but I wasn't there to hear it.." she said.

The Massy went into a Doctor Mode again. "And change into some other cloths! Your going to get Hypothermia!" she told them "and I want to look at that bite! I don't care if its swollen or not." stubborn sate isn't she.

The State of Tennessee
Andrew S. Hickory

Tennessee gave a small start when Christian began to talk. He hadn't noticed his brother enter the room at all. Once he was aware others were in the room the shy state pulled back from Hawaii and straightened himself. Thankfully everyone's attention was rightly placed on her so he could wipe away any lingering evidence of tears. Crying was not something he ever did unless under the most extreme circumstances and if he had it his way no one would even know he could cry. With his pride better secured Andrew focused back in on what his brother was saying. The more Christian spoke the higher Tennessee's temper flared.

"A Native American is trying to kill us?" he growled. Andrew had never quite gotten over the personal wars he had with the tribes that lived within his borders as a child nor did he forgive them for allying with England during the American Revolution and War of 1812. To hear one of their native nations was trying to kill them off with some ancient monster rekindled some of that old bitterness. If he wasn't so tired he might of gotten angrier, but the past hour or so had been a horrible emotional roller coaster for the normally stoic young man. Instead of letting his anger boil he sighed and ran a hand through his hair.

"You know... I don't even care right now," he mumbled before looking at Leilani. "Stay here," he told her. It wasn't a demand but it wasn't a request either. "Don't go nowhere tonight. I don't trust that voodoo to hold you together well enough to be alone. You can sleep on my bed." Tennessee hadn't actually slept in a bed at all since he arrived due to various circumstances. What was one more night on the couch? He looked over at Massachusetts when she began to get onto them for not changing clothes, but Andrew wasn't too worried about it. The Southern states were naturally very warm although it was probably better safe than sorry. Not to mention crossing Leah was never fun and he just wasn't in the mood to put up any resistance even if he wanted to.

Tennessee briefly threw his hands up in surrender to the Bay State then went to go change into something a little drier. He was so exhausted that he really didn't care what he put on so long as it was comfortable and he was decent. Which really wasn't that much different from his usual routine. His fashion skills had never been that great and usually if he was dressed nicely it was because someone else had forced him into it. Andrew went back into the living room and curled up in a chair since the couch was currently occupied. He tried to listen to the others talk but his eyelids were drooping and he could feel himself drifting off with his head nested in his arms.

For the 2nd time today she felt like hitting TN. "It's not Voodoo!" okay maybe a bit of it was but still. Then she calmed down a bit when he left to get changed into something drier. She looked over at her sister with a small sigh.

The something came to mind, "wait GA, who got nerve damage!" she said a bit edge. Maybe she should set up a clinic and have the right equipment; so many people were getting hurt! "a healing spell would use to much energy!" she started pacing back in forth worried. "If they try to move him that might cause more damage. Messing with nerves is a big no no," the state stopped pacing and taped her foot. She couldn't go and help right now, she wanted t make sure her sister as okay.

Then the state went back to the books she had piled up, she needed to calm her nerves. She opens her voodoo books and started reading. She tapped her finger on the ground still worried, but she retreated to her books.

Georgia had closed his eyes at some point and had began to nod off once more. It wasn't until Leah fussed specifically him that his eyes fluttered back open and he looked to her with a dull, stubborn expression. "I ain't drippy no more. I'll be fine. S'ides, I dry quick. Not to mention I could use a little more rain. What with the drought an' all." He did understand that just because he got rained on didn't mean it would or had rained in Georgia. He was just messing around and giving his excuse as to why he wasn't about to get up when, truth be told, he probably couldn't stand if he wanted to. His legs were beyond sore at this point...

When she demanded to see the bite, Georgia held one arm out straight in front of him. He then clapped one hand palm down on the inner bend of his elbow and had his arm that had been straight out to pop up at a ninety degree angle. Some of the younger ones in the room might not get the rude gesture, but he had a feeling Leah would get the message that she wasn't to touch him or his wound.
"You ain't the only doctor in here, Massy. Go pick on someone else. And I already promised them that if he wasn't feeling better by tomorrow, I'd fix 'im up. I've had quite a few people get struck by lightning the past few years. I know how to handle it." Georgia yawned lightly and nuzzled Leilani's leg lightly before he fell asleep almost instantly, feeling much better knowing his sister was here and safe. he made a point to be hugging the arm that had been bitten so that Leah couldn't get to it without a long, hard struggle on her part since, once he was asleep, he tended to stay in whatever position he was in until the minute he decided to wake up. a big part of why some of his siblings who knew him well were a bit reluctant to cuddle with him. It was like getting hugged by an anaconda when sleeping next to him.

Waking up the next up the next morning even felt painful, the young state realized as she rolled over onto her side and hissed, remembering her still-healing rib. Falling back onto her back, she realized something, she wasn't in her own bed, she wasn't in her own room. Oh, that's right, Andrew told her that she was staying in his room last night, just to make sure that she was okay. Her muscles shook lightly as she forced herself into a seated position, glancing at the clock before her eyes widened. She was late for her first day of school! Oh no! As she tried to hurry out of the bed, she yelped before she snapped her mouth shut, looking towards the door, not wanting to wake up her brother and have him worry over her any mroe than he already had. It took a great deal of effort, but the island state finally had herself in a seated position, her legs draped over the edge of the bed as she gripped onto the sheets, trying to steady herself enough so that she could move. Biting her bottom lip, she then just fell back on the bed, giving up. She couldn't go to class, she had to stay here to heal. "A-Andew!" She said, not really yelling, but in a voice loud enough that he could hear if from the other room. It wasn't urgent either, so hopefully her brother wouldn't rush to her like she was dying, again..

The State of Tennessee
Andrew S. Hickory

Tennessee hadn't been up too long. It was really his brother rummaging around getting dressed that woke him from his sleep. The Volunteer State only sat up long enough to watch his sibling head out to class over the side of the couch before laying back down. He debated for a moment about going to class himself, but someone probably needed to stay behind with Hawaii. Her injury hadn't been anything to laugh at and he wasn't confident she would be ok on her own. After he had his scare thinking she was "dying" Andrew wasn't ready to take any chances. It still made his stomach hurt a little just thinking about the other night.

Eventually he rose from the couch to make some breakfast. It wasn't nearly as extravagant as what Georgia might have made and probably not quite as good, but he decided some biscuits and gravy, sausage, grits, eggs, toast and hash browns would probably be a nice way to start the morning. Maybe getting a solid, old fashioned meal down her would help Hawaii recover faster, too.

Andrew looked up from the breakfast he had made when he heard Leilani calling for him. The state dropped everything he was doing and rushed back to the bedroom. In his hurry he almost skidded past the door and had to scramble back a few steps as he burst in. "What's wrong? What is it?" he demanded. She hadn't sounded like she was in trouble, but Tennessee remembered how she had been trying to cover her pain just before she started drowning in her own blood the other night. He didn't quite trust her to be honest about her health after that stunt.

When she suddenly heard and saw that Andrew had ran to the room just to make sure she was okay, Leilani jumped a bit, actually scooting a bit back on the bed, her back against the wall as her legs were bent and against her chest, her eyes wide in slight fear and surprise. "I-It's nothing." She began as the adrenaline suddenyly wore off and her body was back to aching and not letting her get up to do anything on her own. Her face was a light pink as she looked away from him, poking her two index fingers together nervously as she gathered the courage to say something else. "I um, could you help me to the bathroom?" She bit her lip for a moment before she touched her neck, feeling the dried blood stick to her skin. She felt disgusting. "I need to clean this off of me..."

Andrew's expression blanked at her request almost as if he was having a hard time processing it. "To the bathroom?" he repeated dumbly and hesitated a moment before nodding as he went over and very carefully eased the petite state into his arms. He held her bridal style as if she was extremely breakable to him and took her to the bathroom. Once they reached it he felt his cheeks flush as he looked around. "Um... C-Can you use the tub ok?" he asked awkwardly assuming she had a bath in mind.

When the older state had picked her up, Hawaii winced lightly since her body was still sore from all of the extreme trauma that she went to. From the adrenaline rush, she was able to move more drastically than before, but such took a toll on her body, causing it to slightly freeze up because her bones were fridged and needed time to relax and heal properly once more. As he brought her to the bathroom, she coughed a few times, it was pretty heavy, but not as bad as last night. Although when he spoke to her, when she tried to open her mouth, nothing came out. Oh for heaven's sake, she lost her voice. Breathing out heavily, she looked up at him, putting on a strong face as she nodded to him. It was a complete lie but she didn't want him to baby her all day, although she greatly appreciated the attention she was getting from him.

The State of Tennessee
Andrew S. Hickory

Tennessee did not like the sound of her cough and had to restrain himself from tightening his grip on her. It reminded him too much of what had happened the night before and instantly had the older state on high alert. The last thing he ever wanted to feel was that helplessness and this time there would be no Arthur and not even a Leah to help him if things turned for the worst.

"Are you sure? Can't you just take a bird bath or somethin'?" he asked unhappily and was reluctant to put her down as if just letting her feet touch the ground was an invitation for disaster.

The state eyed the bathtub almost as if it was a monster who wanted to consume his baby sister. He was very much against all the dangers it presented to someone in such a terrible condition. She could slip and fall which would probably reshatter her rib if not cause some new concussion or other broken bone. There was also the horrible risk of her drowning. What if Leilani started coughing up blood again and couldn't call for help? Taking a bath meant she would be out of his sights and Andrew wasn't crazy enough to hover by the door and try listening in for trouble. That would be a little creepy to listen in on his sister taking a bath even if he had the best intentions. The more he thought about it, the worse and worse a bath sounded...
