Georgia wasn't phased at all by his brother's sudden change in mood. He had always been a bit eccentric-- but, then again, which American wasn't aside from the shier ones? He simply reached his had out and gently pet Iris in order to try calming her down since she wasn't quite so used to the Alabamian's antics. "You don't need to fight my battles for me, 'Bama. I'm a big boy." Which wasn't just a figure of speech, considering how tall he was.

Still, the fact that Alabama was going to keep quiet about it was comforting. He always could trust his brother-- even if he could be a bit of an idiot, especially when Florida was around. Seriously, who comes up with the idea of throwing fish being fun?

When Georgia heard England, he looked up and blinked. Was England really the one on the intercom? Huh. He didn't know the Brit worked here. Maybe he was a teacher. God knows he wasn't the one cooking since the cafeteria food was edible. He then heard his brother and sighed. Yeah... Johnny was sweet, but not always the sharpest tack in the box.
"Yeah, see ya Johnny! Hope you aren't in too much trouble!" He waved good bye to his neighbor and watched him leave before finding he was alone on the roof with Iris, Brat, and Dog again. He sat a moment more before his stomach let out a massive roar.

The blond's face turned bright red and he hugged the guitar a little bit tighter.
".....I can't believe I haven't eaten since lunch time... Two days ago? Man, I'm starving. I guess I should have grabbed that MRE after all like you told me, Dog...." Dog just sat in silence. Of course, it was clear that the turtle was thinking something along the lines of "told you so." As hungry as Christian was, though... H- He didn't think it was time for lunch. Even if it was, he didn't want to run into his family just yet... Just in case they did know.

εїз The Tennessee Walking Horse εїз

Iris looked up when she heard the voice and her ears perked up again as she recognized the voice of the nice man she met yesterday. He had been such a dear to help her find Tennessee and she would need to properly thank him when she got the chance, but for now there were other matters to attend to.

The mothering mare snorted disapprovingly when she heard Georgia's tummy rumble. She began to lightly nudge him with her nose in an attempt to get him on his feet.
"You need your fruits and veggies or you'll get sick!" she said. "It's not good to have an empty belly for a long time. Tennessee gets cranky when he doesn't eat." Which wasn't exactly a health issue, but to her it seemed to be just as big of a concern.

Georgia blushed, but tried to stand his ground. (Well, sit on it, but same concept. "I'm fine, Iris. I've gone nearly a week without food before. A couple more hours until school's over won't kill me..." Okay, so hiding on a rooftop from your family might not be courageous, but you haven't had to deal with his family-- so screw you if you're being judgmental. He's gone through a lot of s**t because of these people-- though he still loves all of them (most of them) to death.

Iris still didn't look the least bit satisfied and was even more upset to hear he had gone so long without food in the past. She looked over at Brat and Dog pityingly as if to ask them whether they had to put up with this sort of bad behavior from their state a lot.

"If you get sick then what will your sister say?" Iris asked, using a technique she had discovered normally worked on Tennessee, at least. Then again, South Carolina wasn't here to fuss over him so that was a small kink in her plan... "Why do you want to wait until after school? Will the food be cheaper then?" she asked. That would make a heap of sense, wouldn't it?

Luckily, Iris didn't need to worry about Georgia not having the money to buy his own food. A familiar, curious set of blue eyes once again peeked through the doorway to confirm that the Peach State was indeed still pouting on the roof. Rutilio almost laughed on the inside at how much of a pitiful little shota his favorite Georgian looked like still curled around the old guitar for comfort. He walked over with the freshly cooked servings of Key Lime Mustard Ginger Chicken he made in Home Economics tucked in his hands.

"Peaches, if you stay up here and keep making that sulky face it will get stuck that way," Rutilio chirped lightly as he nibbled on his own piece of chicken. "Then you really will be, ah, what is that word for it... moe? Si, you will become moe."

((On the phone and typing quick, so forgive if things are misspelled and this isn't pretty.))

Christian rubbed the back of his neck at Iris's question. "Uh, yeah. Much cheaper. It's kinda a weird system, ya know?"

Brat and Dog looked to one another, knowing full well it was a lie. They were used to Georgia starving himself for the sake of avoiding people he didn't like or want to run into. He'd been doing this since he was a kid. He noticed the look they were giving each other and pouted.

"Hey, you two! Quit talking about me like I'm not here! It's rude...". His stomach growled once more, but he did his best to ignore it.

Oh, that made sense to Iris at least. She didn't know anything about school or Georgia's personal habits of hiding away like this. Her main focus was usually on Tennessee and most things she knew about other states came from things he would say about them and, let's face it, Andrew wasn't much to gossip or talk about things like that to anyone. Not even his own horse. So Iris naively nodded and went along with it deciding it was definitely better to buy food when it was on sale.

Florida watched as Georgia continued to chatter with the animals as if he wasn't even there. Had he not heard him or was he purposely ignoring the Sunshine State? Regardless, Rutilio had grown accustomed to being the center of attention in many ways and did not like it when he went unnoticed. The Floridian was particularly spoiled when it came to George Christian noticing him for the littlest actions or faintest presence in the room. (Sometimes when he least wanted it, but the point still stood.) One of his lower eyelids twitched slightly at not having his rival's immediate and complete focus the moment he set foot on the roof. Though Florida liked to think he wasn't prone to pouting his irritated expression was very close to one.

"Christian!" he huffed unhappily as he reached out and lightly tugged on the blonde's ponytail knowing full well how ticklish Stone Mountain was.

Georgia was so thankful that the mare was trusting enough not to seem to catch onto his fib, even if Brat and Dog were pretty much spilling about it. Hey, just because they don't speak people like Iris doesn't mean they don't speak. Dog could be quite the wise a** when prompted, and Brat was a pretty sassy little thing.

In fact, Christian was about to comment back on something brat had said to him when he suddenly felt someone tug on his pony tail-- more specifically, the section of his ponytail that always stuck up straight into the air like Alfred's Nantucket. Why did it always have to be Stone Mountain? The odd little noise that came from him, which was the same noise he always made when Stone Mountain was actually tugged on, was a mixture of both laughter and pain. However, he still managed to smile since the ticklishness part of it managed to outweigh the pain.

"G- Ge-- L- Let go! Pfft, s- stop!" Georgia pathetically tried to plea between a few barely contained giggles or snorts. It probably wouldn't be so bad if it weren't for the simple fact that it was Florida grabbing onto his ponytail. Seriously, when did he come back?! Had he been that wrapped up in his conversation with brat, Dog, and Iris? Well, he did have a harder time focusing on more than one thing at a time when he was tired and hungry.

That was more like it. Satisfied that Georgia couldn't ignore him even if he tried at this point, Rutilio released Stone Mountain and waited for only a few moments for the younger state to calm down. He then all but shoved the Floribbean chicken into his rival's face without giving him much chance to retaliate for his sudden "attack" from behind.

"You are hungry, si~?" he said more than asked. "I made too much in Home Economics today after Maria asked me to cook her extra." He swelled with pride yet again remembering her request. "My cooking is very good, you know. I am a culinary genius~!"

Georgia calmed down some before he turned and puffed his cheeks out, frowning deeply. He hated when Rutilio did this sort of thing. He was about to yell at the Floridian when there was a plate of chicken shoved into his face. God, it smelled so good... And it looked pretty good.

Christian stared at it a moment, before he closed his eyes and shook his head before glaring up to Rutilio.
"I don't need your food, Daisy! I not hungr--" Georgia's stomach growled loudly and he actually swayed lightly from dizziness caused from hunger. He was quiet for a moment before he glared once more and turned his head away with a light blush on his cheeks. "Th- That didn't mean anything!"

"Oh? Really? Because it sounded to me like someone saying they were on the verge of collapse because they are too stubborn and thick headed to eat when they are supposed to," Florida translated for Georgia's angry tummy. He nudged the food a little closer as his grin went from playful to that obnoxious little coy grin and tiny blush of mock shyness. "Don't tell me you want me to feed it to you...~? Because I have ways of making you eat..."

Georgia huffed, trying to act like Florida wasn't right. It was embarrassing enough to have gotten dizzy from hunger, but having Rutilio see it was no fun at all. Why was he even up here offering him food?

Before he could be even more suspect of his neighbor, his stomach growled once more. He eyed the food before snatching the plate from Rutilio and glaring up to him from his seated position.
"I don't need you feeding me. I'm perfectly capable. And you better not have spit in it or poisoned it!" Christian picked up the fork and scooped some of the tender chicken into his mouth, trying not to act impressed while controlling how much at a time he ate since he was not going to be caught shoveling food into his gullet. Although, it wasn't a first for Florida to be feeding him and taking care of him.

Florida only smiled and tried to keep himself from chuckling or commenting on how adorable his favorite Georgian was acting all huffy and ungrateful. It was a very difficult thing to do, but he worried any further teasing might cause Christian to stop eating and he really did want the younger state to eat. It wasn't good for him to push his endurance so hard even if he was tough enough to handle it for the most part.

"I wouldn't poison anything with Key Lime Mustard in it," Rutilio said as if his favorite sauce was a holy, pure creation that should never be tainted for any reason. "... Maybe something with just ketchup on it..." he mused after a moment of thought. "Ketchup is so bland. I do not mind ruining that."

It was hard to tell if he was joking or not, but he only continued to smile as if Christian had already praised him simply by eating his food. "So, were you planning on hiding up here all day?" he asked after a long silence.

Christian ate in silence, enjoying the food Florida had brought him. Although, he did shoot him a look when he heard that his neighbor would tamper with his food. This might be the last time for a while that Georgia ate any of Florida's cooking, and there was no way he would ever ouch anything that came from him with ketchup. Joking or not, that was just too much of a risk in Christian's mind to trust.

As Florida asked his question, Christian stopped and sat there for a moment. He then laid down his mostly empty plate and went back to hugging the guitar, leaning his cheek against the neck of the instrument as he thought. It didn't even occur to him how ironic it was that he was sitting here with what was now his most treasured possession with the person he stole it from while hugging it like a body pillow.
".....Well... I was going to have to go to my dorm eventually... I have to give Andy back Iris and put my stuff away and set up places for Dog and Brat to sleep..." Although, that was his round about way of saying that he wasn't even sure if he had intended to hide here all day. although, it was hot out here... He released the guitar enough to unzip the ACU jacket and shrug it off one arm at a time so that now he was left with his tan t-shirt, which was tucked into his camo pants. Of course, the entire time he did this, his dog tags jingled with every movement.

"What's it matter to you, any ways? I have the day off, so I don't have to worry about getting in trouble with the principal."

Florida didn't answer Georgia's question as he sat down next to the blonde and glanced out over the side of the building at the surrounding area for a moment before speaking again. "It is nice up here, but if you're trying to avoid people it is a bad spot," he said. "Not that you can hide from your family, anyway. I do not see why you even bother to try considering most of your siblings are either former long hunters or have extensive military careers and are trained to track people. If they want to find you they will find you."

Which reminded him to glance over his shoulder suspiciously as a shiver of paranoia went up his spine. If he caught California spying on him then only heaven could help the younger former Spaniard. Though he was particularly fond of his troublesome little brother there was a line and Rutilio wasn't afraid to bend a disrespectful rascal over his knee and teach a painful lesson about how to treat your elders. Once he was confident there were no camera monkeys around to contend with he turned his attention back to Christian.

"You should go tell them that you're back," he continued simply. "They probably worry very much when you run off on your missions. I am sure that as oblivious as most of them are even they notice how you tend to come back with boo-boos." He pointed at the spot he had touched earlier on Georgia's shoulder which had set everything off in the office. "It is bad to let family worry about you longer than necessary."
