Jade got a smile. Okay, that was deliciously uninformative, but at least it meant probably no one snuck up on the older woman. Then Jocelin said something very… odd. She hadn't heard anyone, but she'd started to feel like she was having a heart attack?… Her heart was pounding, she passed out and when she woke up… Virgo was intrigued.

Then, of course, someone else (Roxy) was shouting. "Please stop shouting at me. I don't know how you got here--" In her rush to placate the shouting girl, she only had a moment to smile and nod at Fritz.

And then Someone was singing behind her. Someone, capitalized, because they had showed up drunk again. She sighed and looked behind her, to the pair of Gemini soldiers on the floor. Snuzzles got a tiny salute back, just two fingers touched to her tiara but it certainly was there. She turned to Ricky as soon as he spoke, and in a tone that brooked no argument said, "No, it's not alcohol. Not as far as you're concerned. Snuzzles, could you please keep that away form the civilians? For their safety."

Aya got a frustrated sigh. "Actually, the people I'm thinking might have sent you here can teleport. So you might not be far off there." And she smiled; not her nice, friendly smile, but an irritated one.

But Hawke made her smile. "Spirit of Duality, more like," she informed the other girl, nudging Gemini Alpha with the toe of her shoe. Then, to the group at large, she said: "These are Gemini Alpha--the boy--and Gemini Beta. They're part of my team. And this is Snuzzles--" pointing out the youma with a fond little smile "--who is their keeper and better third." She looked around. "They're… um."

How could she word this?

"I think I need to wait for a few more of my compatriots before I can leave to bring any of you back," she said, apologetically. The Geminis would get every civilian there drunk, even the underage ones. She looked over at Andeon and smiled a little tightly. "I think there is probably a rule against whining--people whining--on the Surrounding. I don't seem to recall any Zodiacs being, um… whiny." In a lower tone, she added, "Please don't let any civilians have your magical space beer."

"Senshi are soldiers of justice and peace," said Virgo to Felix. "We are a particular group, the Zodiac Guard, charged with defending this system." Keren got a disdainful look. "I would like to know how he'll serve us with the papers," she said, lifting her chin a bit. Besides that, she was fairly sure that her father's position afforded her diplomatic immunity. So there.

She really wanted to call them all annoying pussies. But that would be rude, and was also a sixteen-year-old who was not allowed to curse wanting to exercise her rights when her parents were millions of light-years away. So she didn't.

"Please stop insulting my comrade," she said to Lynn, her tone unimpressed. Only Virgo could call Gemini a spirit of alcoholism. It was a rule, because she loved the Gemini twins.

Jett glanced to Molly, but his eyes quickly drifted to Raven. Given the last time they'd spoken there had been such hostilites, he was surprised that she had offered her hand. He hadn't imagined that Raven would much care for him, but he was pleased that he wasn't being shunned.

He adjusted his grip on both girl's hands and ran his thumb over the back of their hands in a slight, soothing manner. Girls always liked that sort of thing; the long looks, the soft touches, the kind words. It was just habit for Jett. Intending to fill Molly in on everything that was going on, he answered simply enough, "These strange people seem to live here or something. We're not supposed to be here, so I guess they're trying to figure out why we're here and how to send us home. It'll be fine," he soothed in a calming voice. He didn't want Molly in tears again, not with his head already throbbing as it was.

Magical beer. The devil's juice with magic? That's like, the devil's devil's juice. His brain couldn't fully process it, but the idea of such a thing tempted him. A lot.

"I swear on my life I will punch out the next ******** who you don't like until his head spins till next Tuesday if you jus' give me some of that there magical beer," Ricky bargained with the Gemini twins. Sure, there were plenty of other things he should be considering his top priority - like getting home - but it was his Saturday night and he wasn't about to have it be ruined with total sobriety.

Bela suddenly puased watching the terrorist come and go and then another one and she stayed. Virgo? The story teller suddenly seemed a bit unsure about giving out real names, she trusted Steven but when someone was able to save a life, you'd trust them to take a bullet. Right?

Anyways Bela paused looking around, she'd only reminded Steven of her name, the rest of the faces if they knew her, they knew her from any number of storyteller names she went by depending on the time period. Which actually was now going through her mind, what pirate name did she just finish using? Oh right... "Hello Ms, Virgo. You may call me Mary Read."

She gave a small hum before pause, "Honestly I was walking home from telling stories at one of the smaller events." She paused, "So you'll have to excuse my dress. I'm afraid I wasn't able to properly be attired for a trip to.... this surrounding...." She gave another pause, before shrugging softly, "I didn't really hear anything, it was much more like..." She paused with a thought, there was a place that described this..... "Well anyway there's a book that describes it basically. A funny feeling in your stomach and well I could hear my heartbeat in my ears."

She paused for a moment more tying to think, "And then well I woke up here with all these lovely folks." Terrorists, she didn't trust them as far as she could throw them; but the smile on her face and normally perky attitude that followed before a story accompanied anything she was saying. So it hard to tell behind that poker face what she was really thinking.

And then the drunks came in. Oh god, Drunk Terrorists really!? Her mental notes for story time were suddenly tripling and none of them saw a happy ending so far.

Aya couldn't decide if she liked or hated the attitude the male Gemini was giving off. On one hand, being a drunken idiot tended to lower people to the bottom of her 'people whose existence is actually worth something' list. But he was somehow less offensive than Virgo. (Somewhere, some world was surely ending, apocalypse underway.)

She shrugged at the guy in the kilt. "Not our choice of holiday destination. It sounds like your Captain is going to try and fix it, then you can have this, uh, 'Surrounding'?... to yourselves again."

The strange bug-crab thing by his side earned raised eyebrows. "Your, um, pet - Snuzzles? - is very interesting. May I ask what, er, species, exactly?"

For all that Aya thought Virgo needed a swift kick up the a** (or a stick removed from the same region), she sure did drop information like a drunken informer. "So you're soldiers, protecting Earth - or the solar system, rather, excuse me - from...?" Of course no one was going to call themself a terrorist. But if this was actually true, if the 'senshi' were actually not the terrorists the media had branded them as... And if Aya were the one to break this news... well, she could kiss the 'junior' on her nameplate at work goodbye. This could be pure gold, all the better if it got the media into a riot.

Cathleen felt much better being by Grant and everyone else. She smiled at him and nodded at him. "Hello there." She followed behind him and his the other people in the group.

It happened again that sound. But it wasn't as scary like last time. It actually putted Cathleen at ease.

Whatever it was seemed to be getting closer and closer. She looked up to see a young boy with very short shorts on. "I wonder if it doesn't chafe hime."

Cathleen cocked her head and listened to what the young man had to say. He said something about getting help and then just like that he was gone. "What the.....? Man was he fast." Cathleen wanted to go and follow the man but he was too fast for her to keep up with.

She looked around to see two twins appear. "Oh more people are here."

His elbow smacked right into something hard, and Joshua only seemed to care when the person who he'd hit didn't start screeching like a banshee.

"Way too many." He grumbed at Fritz. "I definitively would have skipped this... Whatever this is."

Virgo's words were curious, through. "Who did you think sent us here ?" Why would anyone want to send them here ?

Ugh, this made no logical sense ******** class="quote">

She didn't recall anyone following her... just a little bit of dizziness. That wasn't to say noone had been there! The carpeted floor, thin as it was, did wonders to drown out the clack clack of heeled shoes and whatnot.

As comforted as Menthe was by Virgo and her, for the most part, calm disposition amid the chaos, the girl was completely mortified by the newest arrivals.

They were SO loud. And so rowdy. And soooo.. incredibly extroverted. They just exuded it, and Menthe crept backward like it was contagious, looking for the nearest person around to hide behind. And hide she did, peering out after a moment from behind her glasses.

Surprise-ly she felt safe in Jett hands and she even glance over to Ravengiving her a friendly smile. She was her best friend after all. She look too them and then look back down.

She listen to the guy who was rubbing the back of her hand and let out a small sigh. Well that was good, that weren't trying to kill us. She was happy they where trying to get her out of here, really she just wanted to get home. She looked over to Captain Virgo direction, and said, "I was about to try on a new dress and that's when i came here. I'm not sure if that helps but it would be nice if you can send me back to it." she said with a small smile on her face. Hoping just hoping this thing would help her get back home.

"I admit, I may have come, but only for the delightful company," Fritz said breezily, but it was a comment tinged with a cheerful sort of sarcasm, and he grinned at Joshua to show him he was attempting to make light of an otherwise completely weird and mildly unnerving situation. "But also admittedly, however, I might not have wished for this many people to also be here."

And he really wanted to know the answer to this guy's question as well, so he stuck out his hand.

"I'm Fritz," he said. "And hopefully we get out of this...er, wherever we are soon. Cuz if you ask me, this is a pretty..."

He struggled to find an appropriate word. "...awkward situation."

Flannery grinned. Figure out what's going on first, huh? She'd been paying attention to the voices around her long enough (a whole minute) to figure out that nobody who was speaking knew what was going on either, and that was enough for her to make a decision.

"I'm just planning to find out what's going on,” Flannery told him. “Up for a little exploring?" Of course he wasn't up for it, but he'd follow her anyway.
Flannery moved to stand up, offering a hand to her friend to help him up. The glowing floor would've been a distraction, but she was focused now. If anyone showed up who knew what was going on now, she wouldn’t notice them at all. All that mattered was her decision. "Nobody knows what's going on, so we’ll need to find it out for ourselves." She couldn’t wait.

So she didn’t notice the appearance of several someones who did, in fact, know what was going on. Of course not.

“Snuzzles is a cat.”

And that was all Andeon ever seemed to have to say about Snuzzles.

“Honey,” Andeon looked up at Eliza, and slowly began to push himself to his feet, “nice is for proms and parties. There's a reason I drink, and it ain't because I'm worried about whether or not I'll get to bone the prom queen. I have the finest piece of tail this side of the galaxy.” Andeon looked over at Mackenzie, and took a moment to literally pat himself on the back for landing such a grade A woman.

He gave Felix a wide smile as he handed his beer off to Ricky, and then pointed at the song-hating boy. “That guy hates Ke$ha, go noogie him until he sings.”

“Baby,” he looked at Lynn, “If you're telling my you know the physiological affect of magical space beer on the body of a magical space boy, you got that pretty head of yours so far up yer own a** that you should be expecting a bill from yourself for your colonoscopy.”

It was Keren who caught his attention, and within moment Andeon was roaring with laughter. His pale, freckled arms crossed over his stomach, and he rested a hand on Keren's shoulder to help stabilize himself.

“Where the ******** you think you are, sweetheart? Do you see any lawyers around here? Any courthouses? You gonna run home and tell daddy you want to sue the magical space people who stole you away to the staaaars?” Andeon roared with laughter again, and patted Keren once on the shoulder.

“You're in space, Babycakes McSugarbutt. You ain't suing anyone.”

Well,..while she still thought they were pretty doomed, Natalia could appreciate Gemini A's humor, and her previously horrified expression turned in to a bit of an amused grin. He might not have seemed responsible, but for Natalia it certainly turned an exasperating situation in to a more amusing one. Perhaps it lightened to mood a little. Honestly, she got so drained by all this serious business and whining. She hated whiners. Too much QQ, not enough action.

"...Magical space beer? Space boy? Oh you have got to be kidding me.." She mumbled.. looking away as she crossed her arms. "I am telling you the effects of NORMAL alcohol in a HUMANS body. That is what you are, correct?" Though she did not know any boys whom wore miniskirts and ran down rainbow roads... never not like the present! Her concentration was on Andeon so much, that she probably would not notice if anyone else even so much as brushed past her.

Yes, the nurse was in denial. Why? just the term 'magical space boy' was denying everything she had learned about the natural world. Hell, they looked like normal humans! She was needing a major reality check. For now, she would cling to this being some nightmare.

As soon as Andeon's hand touched her shoulder, Keren's posture stiffened. This was by no means stranger danger and she didn't really think that this man (in a skirt) meant her any immediate harm - in fact, he seemed too drunk for that - but he had placed his grubby (well, in her view. This is to imply nothing about Andeon's actual cleanliness) hands on her shoulder.

Her cold lilac eyes narrowed. His hand was on her shoulder and she did not like it there and she hadn't gotten all of her agression out because basketball had been so tragically cut short.

It might have been unladylike, and she might have been surrounded by people, but Keren was in far too bad a mood already to really give two shits about that right now.

In her first move, she jerked herself away from Andeon's hand. In her second, she reached around and gave him a sharp right-hook punch to the face. Or at least as sharp a right-hook punch a fifteen year old with no self-defense training could give.
