He growled, chest rising and falling as he watched her intently. Damn. Damn his bloody moronic weakness for women. His face became blank, although as he returned the cigarette to his lips, his hands were shaking, "Wha' th'hell's wrong wit' ye?"

"I'm suspended...everything I've ever worked for... my whole life molding myself to be a ******** little lapdog to that cold-hearted b*****d...." She wiped quickly at her face. "I was stupid. I deserve anything I get. I have a feeling I'll be joining you before too long..."

Aubrey sniffled. "And once he finds out I came here.. I'll probably join the ranks of Lily. YOu know LIly Delaney? She was a lab tech...until she pissed Moreau off. Now she's a suject. Red Eyed TRree Frog."

At that, he snorted. He hadn't met or heard of Lily yet, but it wasn't that much of a suprise, "Probably worried y'd castrate him."

Aubrey finally stood, the sobbing receeding for now. "Because I'm not Moreau's lover, I'm his toy." She took another step towards him, an odd, almost predatory looking coming to her eyes. "I was his. Only his. And he knew you're... interesting tastes. I guess. Who knows. Just a bit posessive. He's the only man I've ever been with..." She took a few more steps, opening her hand, as if asking to bum a smoke.

He exhailed a lungfull of smoke, offering her the pack with a tentacle. "He thinks *I* go' interestin' tastes?"

He wasn't sure exactly how much Moreau knew about his situation when he had... taken him in. "Ach, I'm no' a soddin' rapist," He grunted, offering her the matches, still keeping a wary distance as best he could.

Aubrey took the matches, but put off lighting the smoke just yet. "I... I also wanted to apologize about that," she said, looking down. "I know there's... no way I could ever make it up to you for what I did.. but... uhm.. I think I'm prone to believe you. That you were set up."
