Sr. Romero ValentínRepública Bolivariana de Venezuela ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆ Romero had to laugh at that. "Verdad! Those estadounidenses have fallen dramatically since the fifties. I remember how irritating it was when all they did was lord their power over us."
The Venezuelan made note to ask Principal Rome about that later. Meanwhile, Maria's lack of detail made him curious. "A boyfriend, hmm? No man in his right mind would abandon you. But that can't be all that's happened. We haven't formally seen each other in decades, what with Chavez's cancer and our internal issues. What else happened?"

Sr. Romero ValentínRepública Bolivariana de Venezuela ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆ Romero was surprised at how dejected María seemed to be as she spoke about her siblings. He was silent for a few moments before saying, “No pienso que ellos no te agradezcan completamente. They probably show their love for you in strange ways. As I recall, your states were an ingenuitive bunch” He smiled wryly as he thought of the adoring Guyana twins who neighbored him. Back home, he’d hardly gotten a moment’s peace around Richard and Raul—especially when they took it into their heads to prank him.
If her first words were surprising, her next ones were even more so. “You can’t just give up! Your alma gemela ought to be out there somewhere! Maybe not here, but…”

How they hell did they turned into backstabbers? I raised them better than that." One thing Spanish people would know is always stick with your family. ... Then again, they did kind of backstabbed Antonio. Maybe it's best to stop talking about family. "Pfft. Stuff like soul mates are only found in fairy tales. Crece y enfrentarse a la realidad, hermano. Sr. Romero ValentínRepública Bolivariana de Venezuela ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆ Romero groaned and punched the bridge of his nose. "A little optimism never hurt anyone, chica. Things will probably get better if you just cheer up. My people back home do it all the time; it's an excellent way to cope."

Sr. Romero ValentínRepública Bolivariana de Venezuela ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆ Romero was getting a little irritated with María’s line of attack, for it almost sounded as if she viewed him a Romantic. Her next question to him seemed to prolong that view. He answered her anyway. “Had them, lost them. I don’t have a girl right now, though. Franny, Connecticut’s ghost, used to declare that she’d find me one someday.” The Venezuelan’s tone turned melancholy as he said that, for the ghost-girl was never going to annoy him like that again. In a way, her annoying antics had been somewhat endearing.

✿ Consuela Luz Maria Rodriguez ✿ The Rebellious Sophomore Luz Maria sighed. Why do her brothers have all the better luck? Even dead things seem to lik her brother. She was so mad, she punched the store's wall "it's ot fair! Why am I the only one of this group of countries who has the worse luck when it comes to love?! Sr. Romero ValentínRepública Bolivariana de Venezuela ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆ "Whoa; para, chica," Romero began, shocked at how vehemently his sister reacted to his words. "No pegues la pared! You're going to end up in the doctor's if you keep that up! No necesitas enfadarte! Your bad luck can't last forever..." He would have said more, but anything else he wanted to say sounded like more pity and empty consolation, which María clearly did not want. Instead, the Venezuelan stood up and seized Mexico's arms as he attempted to stop her from punching the store wall and hurting herself.

Sr. Romero ValentínRepública Bolivariana de Venezuela ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆ Romero's grip on María's arms tightened as she fought to escape his grasp, but as she subsided slightly, he noticed that he hadn't stopped her quickly enough to prevent injury. She had already punched the walls so many times that her knuckles bled freely. But was that blood black?
The Venezuelan had never seen such dark blood before. Many times in the past, he had seen dull, oxygen-deprived, purplish blood, but no blood he had seen had ever looked black. The blood coming out of María's hands, however, was as black as the night sky. Romero half-hauled and half-dragged his Mexican sister off of the bench and loosened his grip slightly, bringing her bloodied right hand closer to inspect it. "Qué es esto?" he asked in disbelief. "You can't stay here like this... Vámanos, María. Let's take you to the doctor."

Sr. Romero ValentínRepública Bolivariana de Venezuela ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆ Romero growled as Maria obstinately fought him even on something as obvious as gong to the doctor. To him, she was just being childish and risking further harm by not getting her astonishingly severe hand injuries checked. Of course, he had no way of knowing what the Mexican girl was dealing with internally. His left hand clenched around her wrists as tightly as a pair of handcuffs as he ported his right hand against her back and heaved, literally hauling Maria along with him in the physician's general direction. "María, no seas estúpida!" Romero ordered. "You need to get that checked out! Quit dragging your feet and move!"

Sr. Romero ValentínRepública Bolivariana de Venezuela ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆ “Ay!” Romero exclaimed as María kicked him in the shin. T-That was uncalled for! Did she hate the doctor so much that she would hit him to avoid it? The unexpected blow caused Venezuela to let go of his Mexican sister, and she seized the opportunity to aim a punchat his face. Romero barely dodged out of the way, but the move forced him to let go of María’s right wrist. While he recovered from the dual shock of Mexico’s attack and the sudden change in her voice and body, she seized the opportunity to flee.
“Oye! Get back here, you!” Romero yelled after her. But she didn’t listen. The Venezuelan watched the eerie aura trail after her for just a moment before he took off after her. He had no idea how that aura had gotten there, nor how his sister’s behavior had so dramatically changed; but clearly, something was very wrong with Mexico, and Goddammit, he was going to find out what!
