((stairway)) "Actually, that came afterwards" Poke explained to Cuinn "Some..weird magical ghoul crap involving Usa-pyon who is some weird rabbit...thing. She had this weird box that sucked you in and turned you into a magical ghoul. Including the guys" She had to admit though, it was funny to see some of the other boils turn into ghouls and wear mini skirts as well. Overhearing Mitsu's Question, she shook her head. "Yeah, I don't think either are cute enough to be here, so you're safe. Besides, they'd probably eat all the other cute things in here." She did faintly remember mitsu had been mauled pretty badly by those minis, however she didn't see a single one. Odd...

No. Nonono. Nuh uh. No way. Not a chance. Absolutely not. His expression was pure horror that his companion would even consider it.
He gathered his tail up in his arms and held it to his chest protectively. His tail would NOT be going down Demi's pants. He'd be swept away in a sea of sparkly kittens first! He rather liked sparkly kittens in comparison. He pet his tail, running his dark nails through the soft fur possessively. Nope. The hound would have no experience of what this tail felt like down there. It was disgraceful. His mother would have a heart attack.
He bared his teeth protectively at the hound and shook his head. "I'd rather you got lost, pup." Not really, actually, but it sounded good. And it kept his tail out of pants. Hopefully.

(Staircase)The Frez Drah kept between Shun and the others, positioning himself a little ahead of the middle of the group. Cuinn mildly interested him; not many creatures would interact with him so easily. More often than not -- and it was his own fault, too -- others avoided him or tried to ignore him altogether. After all, he IS an abrasive jerk. And without fail, he assumed his abrasive jerkish tendencies; adopting the disinterested tone again, he spoke up to no one in particular.
"Shouldn't something have happened by now? This is pretty boring."
"Shouldn't something have happened by now? It's all making me so paranoid that I could die."
That's what he meant to say at a time like this.

Johan gave the hallway a dubious look. He still wasn't convinced this was the best idea, wasting time wandering around a cheap festival attraction. Inching away from an impressively grotesque display of fine china decorated with pink kittens, of all things, he silently amended the cheap part. There was a rather a lot of effort put into the house. How had they put it together? With blindfolds? He could hardly stand to look very closely at anything, but reminded himself that this was training. For the human world.
Supposedly there was this kind of stuff all over the place there. How humans could stand it, he'd never understand.

[RANDOM EVENT: Everyone]As the two separate groups walked their chosen paths, a deep rumble echoed from the ground floor and shook the whole building. The walls trembled and tiny pieces of stone dislodged to roll down the winding hallway and clang as they bounced down the steps.
Up ahead of both groups was another milestone in their never ending journey: both the hallway and the staircase were giving way to rooms. As the students walked into it, however, there was almost nothing of note to see - except one thing. Stretched across the archway of the next hallway and winding up the entire length of the next staircase were thick vines. Not just vines, but bright green ones covered almost entirely by vibrant, large blossoms in every eye-searing color imaginable. The room smelled nauseating, filled with the stench of fresh flowers.
What could the students do? Their path forward was blocked by the horrendous plant, but their path backward was growing more and more ominous by the moment. The rumbling was growing louder and now it was accompanied by a fluttering buzz.
Something was coming.
"Your luck is running out, kids. You better get that vine down before you're surrounded." It was the same voice as before, ominous but on the edge of laughter. It didn't provide any hints or offer to help, it was just a warning.- AMITYVILLE STUDENTS VS THE GREAT VINES

Oh, Jack, what was that? Driven forward by the ominous rumble from behind, Johan hurried amidst the throng of students as best he could until their progress was abruptly halted by a nauseating sight. The colors threatened to burn Johan's retinas. And the smell!
Johan honestly didn't need the voice's prompting, he back-handed one of the flowers, attempting to clear a space where they might hack at the body of the vine properly. And to get rid of the smell.

It was a relief to hear that there probably wouldn't be any rapalicious. The lycan had quite the time with them before but something also felt...off. Mitsu was on the same note as Cuinn, she had expected something to have happened by now. The further they walked it seemed like there was nothing of real interest. Maybe the ball pit had been the worst of it?
And the rumbling and shaking started. Spoke too soon. With wide eyes Mitsu stared on at the vines that blocked their path, her stance a little unsteady as the ground continued to shift and move. The voice overhead wasn't very comforting either. Their luck had run out? They needed to get rid of the vines? And...what were they going to be surrounded by?
Clinging to Xiu for a moment the lycan looked to their group wondering what they should do. Should they attack?
"Shun...?" The lycan asked in a meek voice.

Was Damien actually serious about the pants shoving? Jack no he wasn't. Putting another boil's tail down his pants? now way, not to mention that it was coated in glitter as well, and he saw no need to literally have glitter everywhere on his own body.
He'd rather deal with teddyzilla again.
But the reaction he got from his words was worth the joking. As he shrugged off the snarling pose faint put himself into and placed his shirt back into place. "Ouch, and here I was trying to keep you safe." he said in mock pain, with a hand over his heart like the words really stung him there in an over dramatic fashion. "I might actually get lost in here and then you'd feel bad about it." he said jokingly before they came across a giant room with vines blocking the other way out as he took a deep breath.
And coughed like there was no tomorrow, the smell of flowers was nauseating. The subtle smell of the simple woods was much more appealing in his opinion. He tried to push a few of the vines to the side but they merely just fell back into place as the voice came back with their directions.
At least it wasn't kittens again there was a midnight blue lining to their clouds.
"Well, time to get to some pruning." he yipped out before kicking out a clawed boot at the vines.

For the most part, Xiu remained quiet as their little group head further into the house, though the fact that her gaze was rapidly jumping about indicated that she was still a little bit paranoid. Taking a deep breath, she tried to imagine all the worse-case scenerios of what they would encounter next. Puppies and kittens jumping on them and licking them. Sparkles raining from the sky. Her logic was that the best way to make herself less scared was to imagine and prepare for what was coming.
But a giant, blindingly bright plant blocking their way? That was one thought that had never occurred to her.
She clung back to Mitsu, letting out a frightened little whimper as she looked questioningly at the others. "T...the only way past is to get that thing out of the way, right?" But...was the vine sentient? Would it rear up and attack them? Noticing a small rock at her feet, she picked it up and--making sure they were a fair distance away--chucked it at the plant experimentally.

As soon as poke could send a glare at the Blue undead, the place began to rumble and shake, almost sending her off balance. She looked around wildly for the source of it, fists already up as she was expecting something to come out and attack her. Nothing did, yet, but she soon saw...no, she smelled, a bunch of flowers.
"...wha?" She said, looking behind at Mitsu and Xiu, as she assuming the two would start to panic at all the shaking, if not the faint buzzing she could hear. She thought about telling them to stay calm, but it was hard even for her to not be shaken by all of this (haha, check out my puns)
Beofre oding naything though, she turned towards the Blue undead guy thumb jabbing back at the path behind them. "Happy now?"
She then moved up ahead towards all the flowers, and was immediately assaulted by the sight of the most colorful bunch of flowers she had ever seen. The smell was horrendous as well, the many fragrant blending together to form a very overwhelming scent. She coughed, holding her nose and realizing that they couldn't go any further as the plant blocked their way.
She wasn't about to let herself be stopped by a stupid plant. Already she was running towards one of the vines, fist up and ready to beat the stupid thing senseless..even though it technically already was.

Levia had been concentrating on memorizing all the names of the suddenly enlarged group, but all progress was lost when her senses were assaulted by the sudden stench and the outlandishly vibrant colors.
The group was at a standstill until the path was cleared, so the grombie figured it was only right to help. With no tool to aid, she set about pulling the vines away with her bare hands.

Would Faint feel bad if something happened to the boil? Yes. Would he regret harsh words? Of course. But would he ever reconsider? Jack no! He stared at Demi with a flat, hard look as they walked, not bothering to say anything.
When they reached the room and the scent of flowers barraged his sensitive nose he gagged slightly. It was better than the smell of children and puppies and kittens and glitter and jackknownswhatelse, because it was closer to the scent out of the outdoors, but it was everywhere, it was girly, and it was associated with needed to fight his way out of here. He had little time to react before Demi was already beating into the vines.
He snarled and lashed out with a fist. He was tired of these situations.

Shun just shot the frez drah a sort of glare as he spoke up. Of course right when the question had been asked, the walls and floor shook. Narrowing his eyes, he turned back forward in time to see that their path was blocked off by some large rainbowy-plant. It had a very strong flowery scent.
"There. Something happened. Happy now?" he snapped back. The Reaper didn't really like the sound of the rumbling noise as whatever it was, it was coming towards them pretty quickly it seemed like.
He did not want to end up being ravaged again.
Looking over towards Mitsu and Xiu briefly, he let out a breath. He wasn't sure about the Baku, but he was aware that the wolf girl wasn't too much of a fighter. Hearing her call to him, he just sort of nodded to her.
"We need to break through. I don't like the sound of whatever's behind us," he said, "Do what you can, but don't hurt yourself."
That said, he went on and called for his daggers; the weapons appearing in his hands shortly. Once he had them, he went on to start striking at the vines.

Cuinn continued along the hallway, very comfortable with his position between the blue undead and the ghouls. This wasn’t so horrible. He had imagined that the strangers would act coldly towards him, an outsider, but that definitely was not the case. The cu sith allowed himself to relax a little. After all, with so many people around, what was the worst that could happen?
“She… turned everyone into magical ghouls? That sounds terrifying!” he replied to Poke. Maybe it was not such a bad thing that he had missed the open house after all. It sounded like it had been even more ”exciting” than this Haunted House. “So the guys had to wear miniskirts, too?”
The rest of their traveling was rather uneventful. Fuaire complained a little, but Cuinn did not mind. The frez drah was rough around the edges, sure, but he had not done anything bad yet to make the ghost dog dislike him. Cuinn had an unusually high tolerance for those who behaved like jerks. “Boring is better than being dragged to the bottom of a perfume drenched ball pit. Trust me.”
Before he could say any more, Shun responded to Cuinn’s question. But no doubt there'll be more where that came from. Hah. As it turned out, the Reaper’s words were prophetic.
Suddenly the ground began to shake. Vines sprouted from the floor. Startled, Cuinn lost his balance a little and dropped to all fours (he was more comfortable in this stance, anyways). What in the… This must be another trap!
This particular one did not scare Cuinn as much as the last one had. Since there was no real risk of being buried, he kept his nerve. “I’ve seen enough hentai to know where this is going,” he announced before boldly lunging forward and sinking his teeth into a flowery tendril.
That’s what fangs were for, wasn’t it?
