"....." Hiyori stopped in front of the hot spring pools, looking at the ripped up ground and spikes that were now laying around on the ground. There was ice, a strange formation to what had to be previously a slide going into the water, now melting away. It was enough to tell her whatever happened was very recent. As she began to look around more, she could hear soft sounds coming from inside the house. It sounded like a pair of terrified girls in panic, she could make out one of them questioning what they were going to do, or what they could do. While another was saying she could save her. Her? Who? "..Hello? " She called out softly, she didn't want to be to loud and cause more scare. "...." Cautiously, Hiyori walked up the steps that would lead to the deck of the home, where she would see...Three girls she didn't know. Great. "..Ah, um, It's okay..I'm not here for trouble..I kind of came here to rest..but I see something happened, and then I heard noises..Can you tell me what happened? "
. .................
After a short time later, she had been told of all that happened, from leaving Stark's home with Sephriea, to be ambushed by Sephiroth, who then took away Yoshio's sister. "Okay..The best thing to do right now is go back to Stark's. From there we can work up a plan to find your sister..I would like to go find her, but um, I don't think I could handle him alone.." If only it was just him. They would all be in for a surprise, had they gotten to the location anytime soon. "..Anyway, let's go. I can get us back inside. I kind of used to be Stark's assistant..so...." She trailed off, motioning for them to follow...and they did..leaving the small trio of girls on their way to Starks labs...

Chara Coming to the scene a bit late, a murderer surveyed the damage. "..." The little girl looked at the jagged spikes that came from the apparent hot spring. She must have missed something fun. Worthless. She turned away, but then... She felt something behind her. A presence that appeared suddenly. Turning, she faced a Devil in the pale moonlight. One with a long, blue coat. "...?" A wide, sadistic smirk spread over her features. "A monster pretending to be a human..." It sounded familiar, didn't it... She began to walk towards Jin. She brandished her Real Knife."..." Jin's hand tightened on the Yamato. "And now a child faces me?" A golden light enveloped Chara. Jin tilted his head, but gave it no more thought. "Begone. I will not warn you a second time." She did not. She continued to walk toward him. "Very well..." His hand went to the hand of the Yamato, and he dashed forward, his movements practically incomprehensible to the naked eye. And moments later, the child had collapsed into a bloody mess, dead. "Weak." Jin threw the katana back into its sheath, walking forward to leave the scene... Then, he heard a peculiar sound. And he saw a golden light being emitted behind him. Turning, he faced the young girl once again... completely healthy? "What?" He turned back to her. "You're dead." He vanished, appearing in front of her again, slashing his blade upward. The slash hit its mark, causing a streak of blood to shoot from the girl, as a gash came across her chest. But it didn't stop her."I know you are, but what am I?" She asked childishly, her grin widening along with her eyes in a crazed expression, stabbing her knife forward with a great deal of force."Ngha!" Jin cried out, his katana falling from his hand as he felt himself fall to the ground, blood beginning to seep from his wound. How did that hurt... how did it hurt so much? He was a demon, and one of the most powerful, and this was a child... so how?Stepping forward, Chara collapsed onto her knees, sitting on Jin's stomach. "How many stabs does it take to pierce a demon's heart? Let's find out...~!" She smiled down at him, raising her knife with both hands, and stabbing him in the chest. "One," And again. "two," And again. "three...!" Over, and over, and over. Her eyes widened, as did her smile, her stabs increasing in speed as well as strength and ferocity. It was an unpleasant feeling to say the least... for the first time, Jin felt like he might actually die. It had seemed almost impossible to kill a half-demon up to this point, but was it truly?(( OoC: MR. OWL, HOW MANY STABS DOES IT TAKE TO KILL A DEMON WITH A TOOTSIE POP?! Lessssss find out. Whun. tohooooo. thureee. ))

As the girl raised her hands to bring the weapon down another time, she would feel something of a painful sensation strike both her hands. When she tried to look, what she would see piercing though both of them was a arrow, sticking fully out of her other hand so in a way, both her hands were bound together. If she wanted to get them apart now, not only would it be the most painful thing she probably ever experienced but she would also have to find a way to break the end off. In her position as it was, she probably didn't have a whole lot of time to do so, if Jin was still conscious to defend himself against his attacker again.
But then there was also the one who fired, a young dark-green haired girl, who was now stepping out of her hidden spot behind a tree, inching closer, and ready to fire another bow. "I wouldn't feel very nice about killing another kid, but if you don't move away from him, I will make it a swift, painless death! " And here she was, looking for plants she might be able to use for her mystery, and often scary concoctions!

___ ___ "Mordi will protect everyone..." A single girl sat in the warm, relaxing waters of the lonely hot spring, her head lowered as she sat there. "....." She slowly shook her head. "...Mordi has been... misplaced..." She muttered to herself. She stared back at the reflection looking up at her between the rising steam. "...Mommy used to help Mordi with her hair... before we got in the hot springs... but..." Her fists clenched, as a tear streamed down her face. "Mordi will have to... do her own hair from now on..." She gritted her teeth, trying to hold her emotions in check. It wouldn't be very proper for a "Goddess" to break down like this, would it... "Mordi's siblings flew away, like the rest. I'll never see them again... they exist in another timeline now... far out of Mordi's reach..."She began to tremble as she remembered their faces. How long would that memory last, she wondered? When would their faces begin to blur in her memory? When would even that be taken away from her? All she had... were her memories... "...Mordi thought this might happen. Ever since I became a goddess, I can see it all... timelines going here and there, crossing and shifting. And yet, Mordi is powerless. For all my power... I am powerless. I cannot... stand in their way. I can't... stop their lives from moving forward... and so... Mordi must remain misplaced..." She took a deep breath, attempting to regain her composure as her eyes remained closed. "After I leave this place... I won't be... Ephraim and Azura's daughter anymore... I'll just be... the Serenitian Earth Goddess... nothing more..." And so she had to resolve that to herself. If she ever met them again, she would mask who she was. She would keep her origin a secret to not impede upon them and their lives. Even if it meant Mordi would be alone... she could accept that. She could live on knowing that they were happy. "A timeline shift... Mordi wonders if Autumn even remembers her..." She smiled somberly. "Maybe not. And maybe that would be best for Autumn. ...Mordi has been alone for so very long. ....And so... Mordi will continue..." She seemed almost despondent. But could anyone blame her? It seemed as though she had lost everything... her family... maybe the one she loved... If this happened before her ascension to being a goddess, she might have been broken by it. But she was stronger now. Her will had been strengthened and her depression had left her. But perhaps a new overcoming sadness would wash over her. Still... She could continue on. She had to. "Niki... Marie... everyone... I hope you can come to this world in some form, eventually... but until then... and even if that never comes... I'll live on for you... You'll... always be with M-Mordi..." Who was she trying to convince? Herself...? (( OOC: ))

By some crazy miracle, Erina's terribly learned magic didn't send her to the abyss, or even the moon. It sent her right in the living room of the lone, empty house in the hot springs. Emerald was never planning on returning here, it seemed.. "Whoa..Today's turning out great! I clobbered Reiner, stripped his pride, AND we got this place all to ourselves. It looks like no one's been in here for months..! " It was pretty dusty, there were even leaves that blew in by the open sliding door. There was no real signs of life but for the door being left open. "Looks like we have our own home...haha..us kids, with our OWN HOUSE! Near these awesome hot springs and in a cool forest! Yaaaaaay! " Seriously, what kid didn't want to have a place of their own? No rules, no adults, nothing but one trouble-maker and her slaves..uh, little sisters. Yeah. "What's with the long faces? You should be jumping for joy here.." Erina gave her sisters a look. They weren't shouting in joy, rather they looked completely depressed! What the heck was wrong with them? "What?? Our. Own. Home. Why are you not happy about this?!" "....I want...to be with them....but...they aren't going to get together.....it's been ...months...and they are never together....I want to go home.....to be together..again.." This was proving to be a real test on just how much Luna could stand to be without the love of her parents. It was harder then she ever imagined.....

Back in the location they just left, in the icy plains Anna was left ...screaming like the little girl she kind of was! Undead hands touching her perfect body, it was the greatest insult of all time! Those that encircled her, were swept away into the jaws of her summoned dragons, while the ones that attached their ugly creepy hands to her were caught in fiery explosions that would finally free her from their wretched touch. She wasted no time herself, to teleport away quickly. Meanwhile, when Lyon appeared with Eirika inside the 'empty' house, the warmth was the first thing that really registered to her, from the subzero temperatures to this new area, even though it was cold here, after being in a place of that intense cold, it actually felt warmer where they were now. It would take a few moments to really be comfortable again, or maybe less, by the help of the cloak Lyon suddenly placed over her shivering form. His own body heat from wearing it constantly was enough to remain even a little after he took it off, and put it onto her, which gave her even more warmth. It was like getting a nice long hug from Lyon himself! Something that was no doubt very welcoming to her, as she found herself pulling the sides further around herself, making herself look like a wrapped up little cocoon. "...I-I am fine...Thanks to you.." She was fine as far as no injuries, Anna didn't get that far before Lyon showed up. All she was now, was a near princess-cicle."...Are you alright? You look exhausted.." That warp of his...it must have been a great distance away for him to warp to suddenly, and warp away just as quickly. "..Wait! Don't...stress yourself. You should rest. I cannot imagine how much that took out of you." Did she worry about him a little to much? It sure seemed so!

Lyon "Where... Where did I go wrong..." Eirika certainly looked rather cute all huddled up like that. In his cloak... what a sight he never expected to see. He could recall some winters where she would get cold, and he'd be too nervous to offer his coat or cloak to her--as though she'd be weirded out or something. So oftentimes it ended with Ephraim offering his instead. Even now some amount of that nervousness remained, but she didn't seem bothered by it... "Oh, that's... I didn't do much." Yes, clearly teleporting there and bringing her somewhere else was barely anything. "I am fine. I am capable of far more than this." He did have a lot of magical power, but teleporting without the use of the Dark Stone was something he didn't realize was possible prior to coming to this world--and it was especially taxing to him. "I will be fine, Eirika. Some walking will be no trouble. Why, if it had been Ephraim, I am certain he could've carried you through the snow here and then cut down a tree without breaking a sweat." He may have been over-exaggerating a bit. Ephraim was still human--he was just capable of surprisingly incredible things with his strength and intelligence. Even so, he wasn't superhuman. He had limits, as did anyone else. "Oh... this was the Hot Springs. Why don't we go out to the springs? The steam should be able to warm you up, if you would like." He paused a moment, apparently realizing what he said. "J-just the steam! I'm not saying we should--not together, er... y-you can just go alone if you want to do that! I'm not..." He sighed. He wasn't very smooth, was he? "I would never try anything indecent..." As if Eirika would ever think otherwise of HIM of all people. (( OOC: ))

Eirika clearly seemed to be enjoying Lyon's cloak's magical warmth it gave her. It certainly helped, and as her mind became a little more relaxed and realized all that happened in the very short time, she began to blush a little as she huddled the cloak close. "..In the end...something good happened I did not expect.." Anna's plan was to bring her mystery, and yet she actually brought her a great deal of comfort and happiness in the end. It got Lyon's attention, and here she was now. Wrapped so cozy in his cloak. "Saving my life isn't much? You should give yourself more credit for all the good you do, Lyon." He truly did not give himself any credit for anything, it seemed! His next comment caused Eirika to giggle softly. "Oh, I believe Ephraim would have had the same results as I, Though he may of handled it more then I ever could. " She paused, letting the cloak go now so it just hung over her shoulders around her comfortably, smiling softly as he suddenly became very nervous upon the mention of the hot springs, of course she would never think he would do anything indecent, he was as kind and such a true gentleman Eirika never had to worry about such things around him! "I would love to sit near the hot springs, but only if you come with me? " She was so afraid he would disappear again!

"Kaay! I got it now. " Miya continued to wobble as she tried desprately to keep her balance, much like her partner in front of her a few feet away. "Get ready to go down, down doooown! " Her grin was matched by Erina's own confidant one as the two girls balanced their selves.....on a wooden log over one of the larger springs. It took some work getting that thing moved and a lot of Erina's magic to float the thing over! But in the end, they managed to create their little battle ground. "Are you ready?! " Her hands gripped her mighty weapon--a long thick stick with some weight on it. Enough that it helped to keep their balance a little better, and heavy enough that it wouldn't feel so grand if they actually hit each other harder then they should! "Ha! I've been ready! I'm just waiting for your slow, weak body to get into position!" Yeah, right. She was doing the very same thing herself, but not as obvious about it as Miya was! "You're going in first! Erina NEVER loses!!!" She gripped her stick, while a little something remained hidden and blended in quite well with her stick, her magical wand. Yes, Erina was probably never going to learn not to cheat in a challenge. She didn't know how to lose! "READY! -----FIGHT!" She yelled, and just before Miya could so much as even MOVE her own stick, Erina's came at her, with an added bonus of just the heavy amount of wind to send her stumbling off the log...and into the water below! ...In less then two seconds, Miya was in the water. Sure, Erina actually had experience in battle, nothing serious of course, she was lucky enough she didn't yet see a true battle. Miya on the other hand hadn't touched any sort of weapon in her life. Of course she had to rub it in by laughing at her. "Hehehe! You look like a drowned rat..! I told you, no one can defeat Erina! "
