He smiled at her acceptance of him. "Yea The me I was I hate that guy don't you?" he joked. giving a bit of a smartass look at tone to her. sighing after he finished laughing he nodded at her warning. "So just means I get to spoil all the kids when their together...though I wonder if we could get away with only doing it with the grandkids?" he asked arching an eyebrow in thought. he was content nothing wrong was going on and his family was safe 'god I love weekends' he thought to himself.

"Probably never. The grandkids are too close in age to our kids." She answered. She then turned her head in time for Eowyn and Ophelia to come in and do the same as Ray and Nikki and hug their grandparents. "I love you." Ginger told her husband. She was happy with her family. She never thought that she would have this many kids.

"I'll let you know that I'm Giovanni Silversoul."

Living in the Capital was proving to be a difficult thing, and while he had initially planned to open his own shop, it quickly became apparant that out there, the competition was fierce. So, his personal achievement of owning a shop would need to remain in the past for now, and he would move forward by getting a job someplace else; right now, he was hoping that that place would be in a clothing store he believed to be a perfect spot of the city. Stepping through the building's doorway, he snuck a glance around, surveying the area. It was nice, he decided, and clean, the sort of enviornment he could enjoy as a workplace. He'd been lucky to get an interview so quickly, so he had made sure to appear on time, dressed nicely in a pair of slacks and a button up shirt the color of coal. He'd chosen a simplistic style in the hopes that it would increase his chances of landing the job. Still, there was nothing more to do now other than to get started. Walking toward the counter, he waited patiently for the owner of the shop to notice him before saying, "Hello. I'm Giovanni Silversoul. I was told to come in for an interview."

Ginger had been instructing Emma and Ashley about setting up the new display for the shop. The Indian woman had become more conservative after her last four children to remained in the apartment up stares watching their younger nephew and niece. "Oh. He's a cutie." Ashley commented with a giggled as the man walked in. Ginger turned to the man when he commented about an interview. "Ah. Of course. I've been expecting you." She said before telling Emma to do the rest. She then looked back at the man. "I'm Ginger Medina-Graham. This is my eldest daughter Emma Sunderson and my assistant Ashley Charboneau. Anyways what experience do you have with working in shops or with fashion."

"I'll let you know that I'm Giovanni Silversoul."

While he had missed Ashley's comment, he was far from oblivious when it came to his looks. Still, for this moment, he was able to refrain from casting a flirtatious smile to either the man or younger woman in the room, as he knew that most interviews demanded a more buisness like attitude. Besides, he wasn't yet aware of how those inside the shop knew each other, and he didn't wish to start any issues now. So, he gave his attention the woman who was obviously in charge, and did his best to answer her question with a mixture of ease and care. "It's nice to meet to you. I used to own a shop of my own, before I moved to this city, so I know how to manage and market. Fashion is another thing, as my shop was one for magic. When I traveled as a performer, I once spent seven years as a consultant to an elvish royal family. I was meant to decide how best they could when appearing seperately or together." He flashed a quick grin, his posture comfortable as he finished with, "Each year, they sold many of my designs to companies inside and outside of the veil."

With a smile it was clear that Giovanni passed a good step. The woman walked over to a bar and pulled out a kimono that was on a hanging. The kimono had bell shaped sleeves and was in a festive red design. "A married older woman comes in and goes right to this product. What do you say to her?" She asked. It wasn't a trick question. This had an answer to it. It was now up to the elf to answer right. Ashley was wearing a kimono in a similar style and it was clear by her Japanese appearance that she knew the answer.

"I'll let you know that I'm Giovanni Silversoul."

Hearing the next question, Vanni took a moment to consider the answer. A glance towards her assistant told him that that the styles were different, and therefore had different meanings. "First, I would compliment her beauty." He smiled, knowing that that was a simple sales technique. However, he continued to think about the tru answer to her question. He had spent a month in the island of Japan roughly eighty years prior to that day, but he had a fairly good memory, allowing him to respond with, "I might suggest that she look at another of your items, one with shorter sleeves."

A smile told him that he got it right. "Correct, bell sleeves are for young, unmarried women." She then walked over to her section of sari's. Not of them had white as the primary color. "A woman for her wedding wants a white sari. What do you tell her?" She asked. She was going bit by bit through several different countries. She was going to end this question for when it came to styles and start to ask different questions.

"I'll let you know that I'm Giovanni Silversoul."

Pleased that he had passed the question, he allowed himself to enjoy the positive moment. However, Ginger's next question causedhim to answer in good time, as he was far for familiar with the culture she was speaking of. "I would explain that she would look far better in red, unless she meant to mourn someone during the ceremony." While white was the traditional color for most human weddings in the west, he was aware that a sari in that event should be red.

Ginger was pleased. Giovanni was doing well. "Very good. Now there is one last task that may come up often that I need to know your stance on. Let's say up to eight children run in her all at once demanding ice cream, cookies, or whatever else you can think of. What would you do then?" It was a very real possibility with the amount of children she had.

"I'll let you know that I'm Giovanni Silversoul."

With the garuntee that he'd answered correctly, Vanni felt even more confident in the ability that he would be able to earn this job. However, he was not expecting this last quiz, and he just barely managed to keep the confusion from his face. Ginger had said up to eight, and while he didn't think so many children would end up in a clothing store at one time, he did his best to answer honestly, "I would offer to tell a story. However, then I suggest now that we keep a bowl of candy ready at the counter." He smiled, shrugging slightly. He wasn't a father, but he had occasionally played babysitter, though never to eight children.

"I suggested now." Emma responded to his comment. Ginger smiled. "I'll have to teach you where the kitchen is. Most of the kids are mine. I have four eight year old kids and one granddaughter the same age, then I have three grandkids who are five years old." The woman explained. "My last question is when do you start?"

"I'll let you know that I'm Giovanni Silversoul."

With a kitchen nearby, he certaintly felt more at ease about the idea of children coming and going through the shop. The explanation given by Ginger was clear, so she gave a nod to show that he understand. It certaintly sounded like a large family, and Vanni was grateful to be working for the obvious matriarch; at least, he was able to assume that he'd gotten the job by her final question. His response came smoothly, with a charming grin. "As soon as you'd like me around."

Ginger was happy to have Giovanni on her team. "Great. Well if you want we could do a training day today and/or tomorrow and get you knowing the ropes." She answered him. It was his choice. "We can start out, but getting the floor set up for tomorrow. We have some outfits for Chinese weddings now in stock." She commented showing the way to the back room.

"I'll let you know that I'm Giovanni Silversoul."

A training day was a fine idea, so he nodded as he voiced his agreement. It would be best to learn exactly where everything was, along with the location of certain items that were sought out less often than others. He took a step to follow her wherever she led as he responded to her last comment. "Do many people around here have Chinese weddings?" He was purely curious, as that culture was one o the few he was still sketchy on; yet, as he continued to think about the type of wedding, he was reminded of his sister. That man who had said he was to marry her, wasn't he some sort of asian? Ah well, he wouldn't think to much of him now. That sort of thing could wait until they met again. For now, Vanni was intent upon learning as much as he could about this shop.
