"Gambler, huh? They've got these food cat things that they're taking bets on over there," Roch said. "If you're interested. The payoff is candy, though." Which didn't seem too bad of a thing in his mind. "Y'know, I like you a hell of a lot better than the other reaper I know," he said companionably, not mentioning the fact that that reaper just happened to be his dad. "I'm actually looking forward to them finishing up the paperwork, now. I think I might start up that club, too. If they let me."
He blinked, feeling guilty about the girl being out of breath, but ecstatic over the guitar she was offering. "Thanks!" he said as he took it from her, along with the tuner, and went to work getting it tuned. He seemed to know what he was doing from how quickly his hands moved through the task.

Bets? They had bets!? Why wasn't he there right now? "Candy or money, don't matter. It's all about the win!" He eyed it hopefully, a glint in his hidden eyes.
"You should definitely start one up! I'll back you up." he pointed a thumb at himself, standing proud.
Better than another reaper? He only knew good ones, other than his stuffy old parents. He was about to inquire who, when Lizzy came back. "Woah, lady. You look flushed. I'd inquire buuut.." He looked over toward the booth with a grin. "I have a bet to make." He patted her shoulder and shuffled off to the booth.

Mot addressed the booth overseers with excitement in his demeaner. "I am in."

Levi watched as a boil with a spiffy hat came by and placed a bet on a more joyful looking (and disturbing) fatcat thing. Her grumpy cat had decided it did not want to race and instead tried to hiss and claw at butter-tan. Causing it to perhaps run faster. It came in first...
The tatzel looked over to the boil with the hat and laughed. Good eye ya got thar. Who knew!

Jericho stared at Riley for the moment as she seemed rather determine to head over towards the host club booth. He had a feeling for the reason, but didn't say anything. Somehow he had the feeling that he better be there when she went over, especially while she had this sugar high going.
Hearing some familiar voices, Jericho glanced behind and saw Lizzy at the booth, speaking with some of the newcomers.
"Hey Lizzy!" he called out to her with a wave.

"Glad to be of help!" She nodded, grinning happily when she realized how happy Roch looked; that was worth running around for, definitely! Looking as he tuned the guitar with amazing speed, she then added as an afterthought, letting out a soft giggle, "You should play something later! Consider this guitar yours till you can get your own back~"
At the pat on her shoulder, she looked up just in time to see Mot make his way to another part of the booth - some sort of a race? She blinked, and then turned to follow after him, "H-hey! Wait up, Mot!" Grabbing Xiu's hand in one hand and Kres' hand in the other as gently as she could, she led them to where Mot was, arriving just in time to see him win.
"Ohhh! Grats!" She let go of the ghouls' hands before staring at the adorable nyan cats. Perhaps... She could try too. She looked at Levi, flashing the tall ghoul a smile before picking a nyan cat.
Her bet on... Uh, how do you even pronounce that? 'OwO OwO'? Oh-w-Oh squared? She frowned, and then aptly enough, made a 'OwO' face at the adorableness of the nyan cats; she didn't even feel bad about not winning. Coming in fourth was a bit of a downer, since she was only one place, away, but-
'Hey Lizzy!'
She froze, standing perfectly still as she held her breath, as if that would make her disappear from view. She would recognize that voice anywhere... Turning around slowly, she smiled weakly, avoiding direct eye contact with the dragon, "H-hey Jericho."

Willow while waiting on Joachim, she decided she'd like to play another round of games. Her tail flickered as she looked at them all. She smiled, "I'm going to play one more round... see if my luck's any better." She told Joachim and headed back to the teacups.
Yaus was squeaking. Willow looked at him, as he was pointing to the poptart cats, "We'll get there in a second." She said with a chuckle, rubbing the little mouse before picking up a sugar cube and aiming for a cup.

"Awesome, thanks!" Roch called after her, but his attention was fully on the guitar. It took a bit more work than he was used to to tune it, it seemed she didn't use it as often as he did, but he finally finished, putting the tuner away in the case and leaning against the booth slightly as he started playing softly to himself.
It wasn't his guitar. It had a different tone to it entirely, but he decided he liked it. Funnily, though, with the case left open at his feet it looked as if he were playing for money. He didn't notice.

Glancing to the side, Jericho saw the sugar cube toss thing, but then turned back towards Lizzy as she responded. The girl had froze up and was stuttering as well. Tilting his head, he stared at her, wondering what had gotten into her.
"You ok? You look like you've just seen a human or something!" he said.
While he waited for a response, he grabbed a cube and chucked it at the teacups for the hell of it, then looked back at the girl.

Something pink and moving caught her eye just behind the reaper boil with the hat who'd won. Lizzy, ain't got no luck with tha bettin' either, eh? Dang, this things face is sure familiar... She bent down and pouted humorously at the grouch of a nyan that refused to race. Rising, she smiled at the dragon boil she'd met during her arm wrestling challenge. Well hey there, Jericho! She looked at Lizzy, then looked at Jericho again. No bells went off...

Willow's tail flickered as the little sugar cube missed, Yaus was chittering away on her shoulder, "Huh, well I can't win every time." she said to the mouse with a chuckle. Apparently he wanted to see if she could get another pastry cat.
She walked over to the Nyancat Races and looked over the racers. Yaus was pointing to one of the cats in particular. Looking at her, apparently Yaus wanted to try his luck, "Alright, Alright." She chuckled as she nodded and picked the cat Yaus wanted to win the race.

"Ah, yeah, I'm fine," She smiled sheepishly as she rubbed her elbow, directing her gaze to the teacups and the sugar cube he was tossing; if this was a few weeks ago, she might be happy that he bothered to greet her. Now, however... She couldn't help but wonder; did he even notice that she had vanished for a week? Unlikely. Her gaze went back to him quickly enough, "Thanks for asking though!"
She fidgeted with the edge of her ribbon, before noticing that Riley was leaving the booth; before she could stop herself, she gestured in the Mindflayer's direction, "Seems like Riley's leaving."
'You should follow' was left unsaid, but it was implied.
Was she still bitter? Yes, yes she is...
Levi proved to be a good distraction, however, and she found herself smiling again as she giggled softly, albeit a bit forced, "Seems like luck isn't on my side today! You too?"

Syb looked at the nyan cats, stars in her eyes. They were so adorable! She couldn't help but place a bet, even though she didn't really care if her favorite won or not! She just wanted to cheer it along!
She cheered her heart out for the little drunken cat, then congratulated him as he made it into last place, happy that he had (she was positive) done his very best!
