This has got to be a Bern-esque pet peeve by now. So many things bug you, I'm beginning to wonder how you've managed to avoid going on a killing spree.

Lady Bern

I don't know who pushed for the PG thing, why they accepted it but they need to be shot repeatedly in the testicles or breasts with a bb gun for each PG show.

Oh, and remember what happened to the superstars who openly opposed the PG show turn? Batista was subject to humiliation at a PPV by being duct taped to a ring post costing him a last man standing match. Mickie James got probably the worst college hazing ever conceived. WWE still has the audacity to pretend they are anti-bullying.

That is simple, my dear. I'm a sadist not a killer. Taking someone's life doesn't not pay for the suffering caused onto me.

And I am far from the only one who thinks that. Only those who aren't aware of what the WWE was like before the PG turn are content with the mind-numbing drivel that has been given to us since. Those of us who remembers what it use to be like all wish some sort of punishment onto them for subjecting us to it.

Once in a while you'll spy the anti-PG posters in the crowd. I hope one day some thing like the ROH picks up in the ratings so much that it poses a serious treat to the WWE and forces them to go back to how they were. No more models, no more firing the good wrestlers and giving us their crappy golden boys.

Over 40 minutes, TNA had over 40 minutes of talk at the start. I think that's a bad sign of what to expect. Though I like the action TNA provides the drama outweighs it.

It's been 1 hour and they've only had one match. crying Were they low on wrestlers?

Gail Kim on TNA? I thought she couldn't do anything for a long long while thanks to how the WWE handled her contract following her way of 'quitting'. Did they finally release her or did she find a loophole?

That bad huh? I used to think the WWE was having issues with starter talk but 40 minutes? What did they talk about? What promo could possibly be worth that much time? I think both Raw and smackdown make a point to have at least 2 matches in the first hour, even if one of them is a squash match.

RoH might have 2 matches in the hour it's on but those last 15 to 25 minutes, and they're pretty heavy on commercials.

Maybe the WWE did something stupid to void the contract agreement before it was up. I doubt they would just let Gail go but then again I notice the diva list has been invariably short whenever they had the entire roster pile out recently. What are they down to, like 11? I suppose the WWE believes the fans only care about 4 of them anyway.

TNA had about 12 minutes of wrestling in those 2 hours. Promos, confrontations, wrestling, more confrontations with in ring brawls, a very short match, confrontation, promo with a fight, and talk talk talk then the final match.

It didn't feel like squash matches it felt like watching back to back divas matches on the WWE.

Ooh the rumors I've heard. Melina may be going to TNA, Morrison might follow if his contract isn't renewed. The grass may seem greener on the other side but that place wouldn't be good for them if they go in with a big ego. In a way I'm sort of hoping for it, I love to see someone get knocked down a peg.

Gail was released of her contract and waited a bit before going back to TNA. She's still bashing on the WWE for how they don't let the Divas wrestle which I can understand, the models are winning over the real wrestlers.

Foley, Jericho, and Maryse are due for a return...I'm only pleased about one of them.

Wow, I hope they at least bring it on their house shows.

I'm surprised they don't view some similarities to back stage WWE and TNA. With Hogan so far up in TNA you'd think he'd be one to try to emulate old WWE or WCW atmosphere. Someone should have probably told Morrison that parkour isn't a terribly useful skill in a flat wrestling ring. If it's about championships and prestige, Morrison would still have to be a breakout hit against established upper tier contenders. It'd probably be like starting over if he does go to TNA. Melina would definitely have to find a new bit, because just being flexible isn't going to get her very far.

I suppose Gail might be happier in TNA then. At least the knockouts regularly wrestle and they have a larger roster of experienced wrestlers.

I miss Y2J. I was disappointed to see him go.

Morrison might be able to do something in the X-Division but he'd be going against other men of equal or greater physicality than him, he could show off like that in the WWE because it seems unique but in the TNA he'd be just a regular Joe.

Now Morrison is alright when he's not around Melina. Melina might join in with the Mexican crew, though I don't see her playing backup to anyone. But as I said ego will eventually come into play. Her ego and attitude in the backstage has gotten her into trouble before and the way that she decided to 'quit' WWE in the same manner as Gail may already have people weary of her. Gail can return to TNA with ease because of her history with them, Melina doesn't have that advantage.

I hope Jericho returns sort of like the GM for Raw, although I think he would be better suited in Smackdown. SD has the drama but not as much.

I get that they really want to milk the convenient stand-in they had cause Sin Cara was on roids (Which was legal in Mexico), but what makes them think we care? Mask vs Mask match? Predictable event with very predictable outcome.

The wrestling was okay, but since I recently got Phantasy Star 0, my attention was divided between DS and TV. It seemed like an alright Smackdown. Some of the match-ups were great.

I'm surprised they didn't try to get Del Rio some cheap heat by fan insult in the opening chatter. Maybe they learned from the Kurt Angle in Pittsburgh reactions.

All in all for the shows I've seen this week SmackDown was still better.

I'm a touch disappointed at the writers and their inconsistency with one thing but their desires to milk others. The smaller stories are like mere footnotes that they have flip-flopping around and they do not pay attention to small details.

While with the big stories leading to main events they milk dry.

Zack Ryder needs someone else to wrestle against. They shouldn't build Dolph and Jack up to the level of tag team worthy opponents yet sideline them by putting them against the likable clown. Although the way Zack got pulled up from obscurity like that is genus.

I was happy at the over all lack of Kelly though not too pleased with Eve taking her place. They have more ladies in the back who would do the job of carrying on the story. And why have Beth and Nattie dress in the fashion of the very image that they stand against? Is there some sort of hiccup between the writers and the wardrobe department? I've seen Beth model before and she can wear less revealing clothes and still look lovely, the same can be said of Nattie.

Daniel Bryan despite his ring savvy it feels like he's struggling to maintain significance within the WWE. It's like someone in an RP with a very mediocre character trying to do everything within their power to stand out and eventually it'll lead to GMing. The beard thing and all, no one cares. If this continues I predict a heel turn or at least tweener. But there are already too many so someone else will have to go face. Maybe Christian.

They need more writers who knows how to book and they really need to negotiate their PG rating. I say after 10pm ET go pg-13 or R.

Daniel Brian might have been better suited to an arena like RoH where the physicality takes full precedence over story. He wouldn't have to cut particularly long promos, that's for sure.

Vengeance lacked that as far as any belts were concerned. The non title matches mostly went as you would expect sans Awesome Truth's match. Otherwise not a single title changed hands.
PostPosted: Mon Oct 24, 2011 1:54 pm

Wow, I didn't even know Vengeance was last night. They didn't promote it nearly as much as the other PPVs. But then again they have these PPVs going on almost every other weekend.

No title change, hmm that's a rarity but I'm pleased to see they aren't letting Cena get the belt back so soon as they usually do. But then again you can easily see they are moving away from their baby faces. I don't mind a face wrestler but I like them to be real and fallible.

But a lot of faces lost and there were quite a few clean wins which I'm glad to see. Nothing discredits a person more than giving them a cheat to win.

I'll have to wait and judge tonight.

Edit-
Monday night and another supershow. Eh. Well the first match was all Smackdown people and they did rather well for an opener following Triple H's time hogging. The way things focus around him, you'll never know if it's the writers going for an easy script or H's influence in the back.

Kermit doing Cena's 'U can't C me' I hate to say it but it was the best moment to me. I am dreading but at the same time anticipating what they'll do with the muppets.

Santino- Is it the hair? His body? The lack of monobrow? I don't know but somethign is just off with his appearance that I'm not use to even though he's still the great clown but great performer in the ring. And Vicki continues to lose weight, she looks wonderful. Why in the hell don't the WWE focus on that in the backstories? That's a bit more inspiring than hearing about some model who was scouted and trained to do a few moves and a sitout facebuster.

WWE needs to advertise their new game more. Especially with the pre-order bonus.

Hmm you can actually see the divas getting a little tougher in their matches. But that's when the model types aren't in the ring.

It does seem strange that WWE 12 is getting so few plugs when WWE All Stars got plugs left and right on top of commercials.

They actually left me confused. HHH isn't the GM of Raw, but he's still the COO?

I find the muppets inclusion for next week a bit baffling. Will they all be in jumbo-tron clips only, or could there be a mishap at ringside to add to botchamania?

Inspiration? From Vickie's self-improvement? The WWE expects that the only things that should inspire us are promos from HHH or Cena, sad as it sounds. Putting Vickie in a sympathetic light would lower the deafening tone of boos that come up when she shouts "Excuse me!" into the mic.

Not really. I can see Vicki pulling it off with great arrogance. Show an old photo of her and then one of her now. Brag about her accomplishments, I mean look at what she did last week with the 'goddess' line. And they crashed Rosa's photo-shoot, (which had no impact given that it's Rosa and she has had little to no screen time as of lately. But I can see why they chose her, no chance as making it a big deal which they don't need). But all in all she could pull it off and remain a heel.

I have to say the WWE is pretty good at making heels with personality or at least I have to give credit to the heels for actually having it. There's something to them. With the faces...it's just a group of 'good guys' with only a few having a personality.

WWE might be a good source for character study.

On the cusp of her return Maryse got future endeavored.

I really don't know how they were able to pull it off but with the Muppets on Raw things were actually entertaining. And I don't mean the matches. The matches were basically rehashes of everything we've been seeing a lot of lately, as always with these so called supershows on Raw.

Although I was really hoping that someone would don the Sweetum's costume and get in the ring and face off against Jack or Dolph.
