The gypsy visibly shivered as the captain replied to her invitation and squeezed her dainty hand. Jamie gave a sly grin, watching carefully as Katherine turned on her heels and made her way off the deck and towards he cabin. The smaller woman followed without hesitation. This was certainly something she could not second guess or mess up. With luck this act may put her higher on the captain's list and bring she, and Nicolas, closer to promotions.
The inviting look Captain Kruel shot towards Miss Gallows caused the young woman to quickly reply with a seductive wink. With the other woman disappearing into her cabin Jamie paused to take a breath. This was obviously going to be a new experience. Hopefully a very worth while one in the long run.
Her heels clicked slowly as she made her way into the doorway, leaning her torso on the frame and pushingher hips in the oposite direction, creating an S-curve that left little to the imagination. Her skirt had lifted slightly, exposing more of her leg and the woman let out a soft purr along with a teasing smirk.

By the time the gypsy girl had reached the captain's doorway, Katherine was already comfortably settled in her favourite chair, rum in hand and boots on table. Lifting the flask to her lips to take a sip, Katherine regarded the girl with smokey eyes. The glimpse of tanned thigh shown by her posture had sent the captain's mind down delicious paths, and she was eager to see more.
"Come here, wench. I'm sure my lap is a fair sight more comfortable than that there doorway." Said Katherine confidently. "Why don't you have a sip of my rum and introduce yourself now."
Katherine waited for her not-quite-order to be followed, and tried to ignore the muffled squawks from beneath her discarded hat. The parrot was proving to be quite the annoyance, and she couldn't wait to be rid of it as soon as Daria was to be found again. A twinge of something approaching guilt went through the captain at the thought of her missing navigator, but she shrugged it off as a side effect of too much jungle air. Katherine had never been one to attach much sentiment to her bed partners, and she wasn't about to start now.

Nicolas shifted his gaze towards the ocean in an attempt to cover up his nearly-obvious stare. His curiosity slowly disappeared as the woman began to speak to him. Though her words were not threatening, they held a certain disgust for the man and he was not one to put up with such behavior. Higher rank or not, Nicolas was just as skilled as the woman. Approaching the edge of the ship to get a better look at the waves, he contemplated keeping quiet to irk Rachel. With a light chuckle, he turned, pale blue eyes looking directly towards her. "Yes. Th' name is Nicolas Morgan and if I beg to differ, it was not you whom I was watching..." His gaze returned to her pendent and then he looked away.
Things on the Dementia were beginning to look fowl for the elf. Already he had been horribly threatened to be beaten to near death and it seemed none of the officers trusted him in the slight bit. His own captain of the ship was not willing to give him a chance. With a melancholy smirk, the man laughed to himself that the crew members had every reason to not trust him. After all, he would not have given them even the benefit of the doubt in any situation. It was still frustrating to be chosen last for promotion despite the clear efforts he had put into the ship.

Jonathan, standing on the foredeck, frowns as he reviews the ship's manifest for the new cargo. Why they ever let a non-human aboard is beyond me, he mentally asked himself. If he had the power, he would send that freak to take care of the cargo loading all by himself. Unfortunately for Graves, the captain 'encourages' socializing between the crew, but that does not mean he has to be nice to the pointy-eared humanoid. Jonathan caught himself mid-blush at the thought of the captain, and buried his face in the manifest to prevent anyone from seeing. Let's see... he thinks to himself, twenty sugar canes, sixty coconuts, twenty pounds of loot of undetermined value... He looks up from his manifest to see if anyone is around and then makes a correction in the log. Eighteen pounds of loot of undetermined value. He makes a mental note to tell Katherine of her 'new share' later. Maybe this time she will recognize me as someone to be valued, he mentally notes as he sighs to himself. Finishing up his duties, he goes over to the captain's quarters, but halts when he hears that she has company. A twinge of jealousy and envy fills him for a moment before returning to his 'prim and proper' mindset. "Captain?" Jonathan asks as he knocks on the door. "It's me, the quartermaster. Come see me when you are not busy, Ma'am. I'll be in my bunk." With that, he moves off to below deck, manifest in hand, ignoring everyone in his way, especially the elf.

Jamie's blue eyes scanned the captain's comfortably seated figure. The command from Katherine was clear and the gypsy nodded, making her way slowly across the room. She walked smoothly, working her curvacious figure towards the woman before her. Her lips parted slightly in a seductive manner and she paused in front of the seated woman.
Jamie's movements were presice as she lifted a leg, shifting it to Katherine's other side, to straddle her captain. Int he same movemtn she had gripped the neck of the bottle of rum that the other woman was holding and brought it to her lips, allowing the liquid to pour onto her toungue and down her throat.
" Forget the introduction, how about you get to know me hands on?" Jamie purred as she leaned over, whispering into the captain's ear. Her hips shifted slightly as she made herself comfortable atop Katherine.
A sound then came from the door and Jamie turned to glance at the male standing in the doorway trying to address Captain Kruel. She gave him a welcoming and comfortable smirk before turning her gaze back to Katherine, for it was she whom he was speaking to. With his short words he seemed to have slipped away very quickly. This was odd to the small female. Normally a male would have gawked and perhaps even asked to join. Yet the quartermaster was very contorlled.
Shaking the thoughts away, Jamie tipped the rum into her throat again. She leaned back down to the captain, sky blue eyes inviting the other woman closer. Jamie's free hand ran from the captains clothed stomach and upwards as her toungue flicked outwards, slowly brushing against Katherine's lips.

Katherine ignored the quartermaster's interruption, far too busy enjoying what was going on in her lap to be bothered with anything outside of it. The gypsy's presence was more intoxicating than the rum still glistening on her lips, and Katherine felt that the heady scent of the woman overpowered even the smell of the alcohol. Still, Katherine was not entirely as scatterbrained as she seemed, and she fought to keep a clear head.
Looking up sharply into Jamie's clouded eyes, Katherine firmly ignored both the hand on her stomach and the lips that were temptingly close, focusing on what she had to say.
"I'm no fool, lass. Let us talk of what exactly you seek to gain from these proceedings, before we... proceed." Katherine heard her own voice husky with desire, and realized that she was more far gone than she had thought.
Unsure whether she was doing it to reassure Jamie or to placate herself, the captain moved a gloved hand around to hold the gypsy's behind, wondering as she did so how long it would be before she could be on the other side of the red cloth.

Already feeling somewhat aggressive, it did not take more than shoving past him without a word from Jonathon to really get him frustrated. Crossing his arms, the elf took towards the edge of the ship where he hoped he might be able to relax for a bit before the Dementia went back into port to pick up the remainder of its crew mates. With a half hearted sigh, Nicolas wondered how Aurora was fairing and whether a few fights and drinks might loosen her up enough to allow the elf a quick peek beneath her skirt. With a more hearty laugh, the male pondered more on this in an attempt to clear his mind of both Jamie and Katherine.
In his attempt to keep his thoughts from Jamie, however, the male could not help but wonder what was keeping her. Why did she need so much time to please the Captain into promotions? Was Katherine as difficult with the gypsy as she had been with Nicolas himself? Was Jamie enjoying herself? The mere thought had Nicolas' stomach churning. It would be difficult to view his fellow pirate with the same eyes as he was certain not even his bullying questions could have Jamie answering sincerly. Nicolas Morgan trusted Jamie with the same trust a pirate can have for another pirate. There were easy ways the woman could lie if she was in a situation that demanded it.

Jamie tilted her head back slightly, gazing down on the Captain. A small smirk played on her face as she went over the captains words in her head. Katherine was certainly more aware of what was occuring than Jamie had expected. The young gyspsy opened her mouth to speak, trying to pick out the precise words she wanted to say. After a moment Jamie nodded and licked the alcohol from her lips.
" What do I seek? " She questioned, biting at her bottom lip slightly in a playful manner. " What would any lowly deckhand seek?"
Jamie then moved closer to Katherine, feeling the Captain's hand around her rear. On the outside Jamie appeared totally calm, collected and hungry for the woman before her. Yet, on the inside, she was nervous of what was to come of the captain's questionings. Not to mention she was fighting her mind from thinking further on into the night when she had said she would return to Nicolas's cabin.
Shaking the male from her head she gazed back towards the captain and wiggled slightly in the woman's lap once more.
" A promotion.." She whsipered, an eagerness and excited sound in her voice as she muttered the words.

The gypsy's words were like a bucket of ice water on the captain's heated mood. Katherine tried desperately to grasp the fading trails of arousal, but she found instead the cold paranoia that haunted her duty as captain. Standing up abruptly and letting Jamie fall from her lap like a sack of potatoes, Katherine strode across to look out the small windows into the pre-dawn darkness.
"Very well." She spoke over her shoulder, trying to relieve Jamie's probable confusion. "You may have your promotion, but no more. You earned it well enough on the island. Thank you for your company this evening, it was... pleasant."
The captain tried to put a veneer of civility on her words but she couldn't keep the ice from her voice. While she was well aware of the tricks and trades that pirates often used to climb the ladder of rank, Katherine could never stomach having ambition as a bed mate. It went against ever fibre of her lustful body, but some obscure morality from her youth prevented Katherine from taking advantage of the situation.
She tried to comfort herself with the principle that it was wise to keep cunning far from your bed, but it was a weak thought in the face of what she was giving up. Then a horrible thought struck Katherine.
"Tell that elf he's been promoted too. God knows I don't want him showing up in my cabin again." Shuddering at the very idea, Katherine dismissed doubts about the wisdom of promoting the deckhands, far more concerned with keeping the elf away from her.

Jamie cursed inwardly at herself as she felt the captain tense beneath her. Drat. Hopefully she hadn't spoiled what she had been working so hard to achieve. Without warning Katherine stood, causing the smaller female to fall to the floor in a heap with a thud. She winced at she felt the wooden floor chip and splinter into her elbow. Yet, she didn't allow it to become her main concern. Her sky blue eyes followed the captain and Jamie stood, holding her left elbow carefully.
Captain Kruel's words were like ice and Jamie remained where she was, bangs sheilding her eyes. Suddenly Jamie's heart leapt. She could have the promotion?! With a quick nod of the head Jamie then moved towards the door. With all the luck in the world she had managed to pull through without doing what she had set in her mind she was going to do. She wouldn't have to erase all memories of this night with the captain.
" Captain.." The small woman head bowed her ehad in thanks and had turned to leave when the other woman spoke ubruptly. Jamie turned to listen and could not believe her ears. After a short pause she shook herself out of a small awestruck trance. " Yes, captain. "
With that the small woman slipped from the captain's room and made her way quickly towards the one cabin she wanted to be in. Her attention was then directed to her slowly bleeding scrathed and slpintered elbow. After making several turns she found herself in front of the elf's cabin. With no thoughts she opened the door and made her way inside. Empty?
Shaking the thought of him being with another woman away she searched the room for a bottle of rum. Finding one she settled onto his bed, sitting on the edge cross legged. Lifting the bottle she took a long swig. Lowering the bottle to the bedside table she grinned and then proceeded to pick out a few pieces of wood in her elbow.
Perhaps the thing had not went exactly to how she had planned it but it had certainly turned out for the better. She had been dreading the night with Katherine, yet even more so the look on Nicolas's face when he had found she had returned. He would certainly think that she had done her deed, and she couldn't bare the angered expression he had displayed earlier. Yet, Jamie wasn't one to crumble and cry at the sign of an upset male. She had grown strong during her younger days and now knew how to handle herself. Nicolas seemed slightly different though. Yet, so had he.
Sky blue eyes looked to the wooden door in the opposite corner of the cabin, where the elf would eventually pass though. All she had to do now was wait.

Nicolas had been at his usual spot on the ship while he found himself deep in thought. Though he was trying harder than he accepted, the male could not seem to shake the disgust and jealousy from his body. Jamie Gallows was a constant thought and Nicolas was certain he knew why. Running a hand through his light brown hair, the elf snorted and watched the waves come crashing down onto themselves.
The promise Nicolas and Jamie had made with one another before the meeting had nearly been forgotten until he heard the shut of a cabin door and the delicate footsteps of small boots. Leaning forward now to listen more carefully, the elf was certain as to whom those footsteps belonged to. Beginning forward, Nicolas aimed towards his own chambers, arriving in a few, long strides. Seeing the door ajar, the elf did not hesitate to open in the rest of the way. What awaited him inside seemed both expected as well as a surprise.
Pale blue eyes seemed to catch onto exactly what he was waiting for. A fire seemed to have been sparked by the delicate form of the woman laying before him. She understood her position in their relationship and had returned as he desired. Stepping forward and kicking the door closed, the elf only paused when he was standing as close as possible, without bending forward or getting onto the bed.
All instincts within the pirate screamed for him to take claim of the wench he had called for himself. His fists were beginning to clench together and his heart was beating slightly faster than usual. These symptoms of both his jealousy and anticipation were hoped to be unseen.

With the sound of the door being kicked shut Jamie looked up. Nicolas now stood in the far corner of the cabin, yet was advancing swiftly. The tanned gyspsy stared upwards at the male who had paused before her. Jamie caught her breath as she examined his fatures. His light brown hair hanging slightly in his face along with his striking blue eyes. With slow movement the woman pushed herself to the edge of the bed, lowering her legs over the edge and stood, her small form taking its full height in front of the elven male.
He had arrived much sooner than she had thought. Yet, this brought an excitment over her that she hadn't anticipated. She stood close, her figure lightly brushing his. The young woman glanced to Nicolas's hands that were balled at his sides before raising a brow and gazing back up at him.
" Have a drink, Mr. Morgan. " The woman then spoke with a smile as she pushed the rum bottle into his chest. Things were certainly going to be getting more interesting with both of their promotions. And Jamie was excited, yet also nervous to share the news with Nicolas. " Or perhaps I should say, newly promoted fighter. "
A shiver ran down her spine as she spoke the words for the first time. She was proud to have helped him achieve a higher status. After waiting momentarily she sipped from the bottle, tilting her head back to down the rum more easily. With a smirk she then thrust the rum toward one of his hands and sat back on the bed, propped up on her elbows in a content manner.

Nicolas mind had been racing the moment he noticed Jamie Gallows sitting within his chambers. She had arrived as promised and though the elf had been awaiting this moment since their meeting, he could not bring himself to take full advantage of the situation just yet. Jealousy burned through him like hot coals and a few answers could easily satisfy his mind. What had happened within the Captain's chambers? Was their goal reached? What manner did Jamie achieve that said goal? Clenching his fist again, the male stared into the smaller woman's eyes, as if trying to read through them.
Jamie's behavior indicated nothing and all the elf could see within her eyes was slight blur from a few drinks of alcohol. Still quiet, the man continued to look Jamie over. To the best of his knowlege, nothing had changed about her.
When offered the rum, Nicolas pulled the bottle up to his lips and took a deep swig. The bottle was nearly emptied and he quickly lowered it to his side. It was no matter that the one bottle was nearly finished, the elf had stowed away a few others throughout his chambers. The idea of rum, however, was not important at the moment and once Nicolas was able to clear his mind, he heard something strange leave the mouth of the woman before him.
"What was that...?" He asked slowly, nearing her closer and sitting onto the edge of the bed. The question asked was not one to be answered as the man had heard clearly what was said. As though the word had the same affect of a gallon of rum, the elf's mind had managed to clear itself from worry and busy itself with thoughts of triumph and arriving at his planned goal much quicker than imagined. With a cheeky grin, the man began towards Jamie, reaching down to unhook his Sabor and set it aside as to not be bothered during play.

The new able seamen watched as her words sunk into the male's mind. It took him a moment to register what she had said, though when he did notice his change in rank she couldn't help but sneak a sly smile across her slightly red cheeks. He then began towards her questioningly, even though it was clear he had heard exactly what she had said.
" What? Did I say something that intrests you?" The gyspsy teased as Nicolas made his way onto the bed beside her. She glanced toward his hand, while he unstrapped his sabor and discarded it, before looking back into his eyes. Jamie turned, lowering herself onto the bed near him, practically on her hands and knees, one leg over the side of the old matress.
With a swift movement the small woman crept closer to the male, face near his own, bangs slightly hiding her sky blue stare. She was close, near enough to smell the freshly consumed alcohol on his breath. A flash of katherine returned to the woman and Jamie shut her eyes. She was grateful that the Captain had higher standards of bed mates than the gypsy had originally thought. She had not had to go through anything she would regret. Nicolas was not aware of this though. Yet, Jamie wasn't sure if he really needed to know.
He had what he wanted. She gave him his promotion. He was on his way. As was she. Returning to reality, Jamie slipped her hand over Nicolas's and softly pulled the bottle of rum from his grasp, downing the little amount of rum left in it.

The position in which Jamie Gallows sat before Nicolas was more encouraging that the elf could have expected. With his sabor set down carefully there was nothing between the two. As he looked over her form, he could not help but grin broadly. Their relationship had gone on quite awhile with hopes of reaching this stage. It had seemed in the past there was always something to get in the way. Now, with his lady exactly where he wanted her, Nicolas could not help but enjoy every minute of it.
Nearly forgetting about the awkwardly held bottle within his hand, Nicolas was somewhat surprised when Jamie had taken it from him. Cloudy blue eyes watched the gypsy as he cast aside the empty glass. It hit the ground with a light thud, a few garments having caught its fall. Leaning forward even closer, the man took in a deep breath of his prize. Jamie's scent was something Nicolas had already kept close in memory since their time in the tent on the way to the temple. Mixed with her scent was another scent that unluckily the elf had the privilidge to take in. Katherine.
As he watched Jamie finish off the bottle and his mind had only begun to wander once again, Nicolas leaned forward. A nimble hand made its way up to carefully remove the hair tie from the gypsy's hair. Once her hair was free, the same hand ran through it carefully and pulled Jamie closer for a kiss.
