Julio Slade "I promise you... Revenge!"   As Neptune wondered aloud what her name would sound like with his surname, he merely looked at her ."..." He let out a sigh, as if she had said something so ridiculous. Marriage, though, wasn't exactly what was on his mind right now. Not extremely, anyway. "...Fine." He replied to her next question about his state of being. Then, she transformed. Apparently back to her "normal" form. Admittedly it looked a bit more appropriate, not that he disliked her other form in any way. "..!" He grunted a bit. Somehow this girl looked a lot like... He swallowed hard, keeping his emotions in his throat. "You look... nice." he said, hiding his emotion from her quite well. He had done it all his life to everyone, so it wasn't exactly difficult to him. "...Maybe you should leave, though. I need to go back to the tower... I don't entertain much, you see. Not much of a host." He said. He wasn't exactly trying to be funny, but it could sound humorous. He was simply stating the truth. No one else had ever come to his little "home" here... "Don't you have better things to do anyway?"  (( OoC: ))

- Neptune Wolve -    Neptune's cheeks nearly matched her own hair color for a second, his little compliment must have been good to hear, even if it was a small one. Coming from him, that was probably a rareity itself. "Hmm? You want me to leave you now? " She looked at him, then dropped to her knees in front of him only to set her arms around his neck in a hug. "After everything? I said I wasn't going to leave...That would look....." She paused as she let go of him, leaning back a little as to look into his eyes. "...It would look as though...you know...bad...I'm not someone who just..picks up guys you know. " She better had made that clear, god knows she really didn't want him to think like that about her. "Actually, your the first...I've ever been with..Last night was special. Was it not to you? " She didn't expect that much of him, it was true, they only just met, still it went back to her not wanting to think of him as a trashy girl. "Whatever it was, I felt connected with you..Nothing felt wrong."
Frowning, she just shook her head. "I don't mind your place. It's cute, and cozy when I can be so close to you! As for this Tower, why? I think your a grown man who can choose what he wants to do! Want me to go yell at the leader to give you some time? If he refuses, I'll just kill him!" Okay, so she really was joking about the last part, but the way she had said it made it just a bit difficult to really be able to tell. "No, I don't..Not really!"

Julio Slade "I promise you... Revenge!" "..." He didn't WANT her to leave, but getting involved with this monster... It would only cause problems for Neptune. Julio didn't want that. She was perhaps the first girl to show true caring for him, and they had only just met. "...Tch..." He choked out, before leaning in to suddenly kiss her. It was a deep kiss, but with less passion and more... love. He began to cry as he kissed her. He couldn't stop himself. For one who didn't have a heart, he couldn't stop his feelings from flowing out in front of her. Leading her to his very soul, which was so... so numb. So alone. After parting the kiss, he leaned his head against hers softly, taking her hand into his. "..God! I just want to be with you... Neptune... But there is just... no way..." He said, his monstrous voice cracking several times. His emotion was plain, laid out before her. He was so broken. So destroyed by his past. "Please... leave... I... I don't deserve you..." He leaned away from her, placing both of his hands on either sides of her cheeks. "Please... I don't want you to be hurt..." The emotion on his face matched that which was pouring out of his soul. His heart! His.. absent... heart... "I can't... make you happy... my love is worthless.. my feelings are meaningless.. I'm... a monster... I can't... I can't... Oh god...!" He couldn't finish, as he lowered his head, tears falling from his eyes. "Go! LEAVE! I can't... I... c-can't.." He let out a sort of whimper. How horrible it was to look so weak in front of this woman... But he couldn't stop the feelings from festering. They had laid so dormant inside of him for so long. Now... they flowed out of him... "I'm.. sorry..." (( OoC: ))

- Neptune Wolve - Neptune's eyes widened as he suddenly kissed her, it was diferent from before, filled with love, that she too returned. That was when she realized he was suddenly crying. Not only did she feel that love, but now something completely diferent, rather, it was heart-breaking to her. Was he really this lonely? For so long,it seemed. As the kiss had parted, and he took her hands into his own it it was almost as if she knew something more was going to be said, something she didn't want to hear him say. "If that is what your heart wants, Julio...Then, don't deny it the love you deserve..And I think you deserve the best. I may not be the best, but...I want to try to be, for you..If you will let me, I would love to be the one at your side..For hard times, and good times..Anytime you need me.." Which she hoped would be forever. Now he would feel a gentle hand rest under his chin, as she lifted it just faintly to catch his tear-filled eyes. "I'm not going anywhere Julio! Don't do this to yourself anymore..Don't hide anymore, don't...suffer anymore.." She said softly, before suddenly bringing him into a embrace, holding him tightly, yet still gently. "You have someone to face this world with, even if times are hard, no matter what danger comes at us, Let's face them together.."

Julio Slade "I promise you... Revenge!" "...You... are.... the best..." Julio said softly, lovingly to his infatuation. His new love. "You're... so strong.... I'm... weak..." Not physically, as he was perhaps the strongest person on Gaia in physical strength, but emotionally. Mentally. "Being with you... gives me strength. I love you," that was fast, but then again, a lot of things about their relationship was fast. "And I... want to be with you... Neptune..." As the two held each other, Julio contemplated everything. "I don't deserve you. Being with me will only... endanger you... so..." He slid his hand down her tiny, delicate frame, putting one arm under her legs and one under her neck, lifting her up in a princess-carry style. "I'll leave. With you. I want you. I need you, Neptune... Continue giving me strength, and I'll protect you. I'll protect you..." his eyes widened, as if reliving some more of his past horrors. "...I-I'll... protect..." He grunted, shaking his head as if to shake away the awful memories. "...Let's run away.... together..." Well, not so much both of them, as him. He had no reason to stay here, and if Neptune wanted to be with him so much, he didn't want to turn down this chance. "Where can we go? Tell me. I'll take us there." With that, he began walking out of the cave, carrying her, and as soon as they were outside, his wings would give a soft flap, as he took off into the air. Of course, in her other form she could fly as well, but right now she was clearly exhausted. As was he, all things considered, but he clearly had more energy due to the fact that she was.... in the lead, so to speak, during their previous night's endeavors. (( OoC: ))

- Neptune Wolve - Neptune could only smile softly, those few words were at least enough to encourage her that he was calming down a little. She didn't want to hear him continuously try to push her away, or put himself down to be swallowed up in complete darkness his entire life.Then, his next words came, though it wasn't quite so happy, she understood.He had been through a lot, it would take time, but eventually she knew he would overcome that weakness. That was what she was there for, after all. To help him through everything. Loosening the hug just enough so she could lean back enough to look into his eyes, she smiled again. Though a little surprised,it was a good one. For these two, taking it slowly wasn't so much an option. It didn't..always have to be that way. The way she had felt for him, even in the short time, she knew she too could say it too, and mean it. "I love you too." By the next week, they would probably be married at this rate! "..? " She blinked, opening her mouth to say something until she felt herself suddenly lifted into his arms.She had thought she would have to argue with him again for a moment there! But instead, it became even better.He was going to leave this place with her? Neptune may not have been the most lady-like young women in the world, but even she rather liked the sound of him protecting her, as if she really needed it! She could definitely hold her own, but still. It was nice to hear. "Julio? .." She suddenly asked with concern filled eyes as she looked up at him. "What is it? What's wrong? " He would feel her hand rest softly at the side of his cheek while she gazed into his eyes. "Talk to me, don't hide. Remember i'm here for you." She tried to give a reassuring smile before his last question came. "Where? ...Hm...A place far from here. I think if my family's home is here still, it may be a safe location for us. It shouldn't be to well known, hidden inside a forest.Do you want me to lead us there? " Exhausted as she may of been, she could still fly well enough, at least she thought so! Otherwise, how would she hold up in battle if she exhausted so easily?

Validar "Human bonds are leaves in the wind. They offer you nothing."  A large wooden gallows had been set up in front of the Devil's Tower, and it seemed its first victim had been readied for execution. Standing atop a chair on the gallows, her neck wrapped in a noose, was Lissa. It seemed they were obviously making this into a spectacle, and from a tactical viewpoint, it was very obviously a trap. Of course, a certain Shepherd ddn't have his trusted tactician with him, so it was unlikely he would care.
Standing on the side of the gallows was Validar, beside him was Derrah and Vergil. Exdeath was also watching."Are you sure the boy will come?" Derrah asked Validar. The alliance these two had forged was something of a mystery, considering they both had different "saviors" they wanted to bring back. "This is clearly a trap.""Clearly," Validar said. "But Chrom is a foolish Exalt, headstrong and unaware. Without his tactician, he wouldn't think twice before running head-first into a trap. He's never had to, the spoiled fool. He will be here. Count on it." He said, smirking. "And once he arrives, we'll have no more need for my darling daughter-in-law..."
All around the gallows, demons had gathered, and were all making satisfied screeching noises. They could feel the light inside of Lissa, and they longed to see her put to death. And Validar seemed to be happy to deliver, but not until Chrom got here... (( OoC: ))

Chrom "If there were none who speak of hope, there would only be despair left in our world.
To protect the people who so loved the peace that my sister wanted...
I WILL NOT FAIL!" "VALIDAR!" Chrom shouted, unsheathing the Exalted Falchion with intensity. He stood behind the crowd of demons, and behind him were two very familiar looking women. Nowi and Tiki, who's powers were quite obvious."...Hahaha... He shows up just on time! And look, the daughter of the Divine Dragon herself has shown her hideous face! An unexpected boon; I'll get to rid myself of another pest!" He smirked, obviously referring to Tiki, the most powerful of the Manakete race. "Now, Chrom, if you want-""Shut up!" Chrom shouted. "You die today, Validar!" And without another word, he charged forward, slashing at demons with absolutely no fear of what they were or what they could do. And of course, the massive group of them all turned and began to attack the prince."So much for strategy..." Derrah muttered. This was the WORST strategy he had ever seen. "This Robin must have been some tactician to guide this fool through so many trying wars... Too bad he's dead. Heh." He smirked a bit at that, turning to Lissa. "Do you still have confidence in your dear brother? I should put a muzzle on you. You're more annoying than the beasts that wear them..." (( OOC: ))

 ~ Tiki ~    "Nowi, you go help Lissa. I will help Chrom." She said to her, just in case they decided to drop the chair holding Lissa, it was probably a better idea to keep Nowi near her. Wasting no more time, the two women would suddenly return to there dragon forms, Nowi taking to the air and flying toward the gallows where Lissa was, but not before sending a nice burst of intense fire from her mouth into the wave of demons Chrom was up against that were in her path. When she got to her, the dragon landed at the platform, very close to Lissa so that should they try anything, all she would have to do was get under her with one of her wings, thus saving her from being strangled. All the while, her attention also set on Validar and Derrah. The look she would give them was clear, if they tried -anything- she would attack.
Tiki meanwhile, rushed in closest to Chrom as she could manage as she used her own physical strength of massive claws, and teeth, to cut down the numbers against the prince. Any chance she had when Chrom was not in her path, she would breath an even more greater flame at the demons attacking..

Validar "Human bonds are leaves in the wind. They offer you nothing." "How adorable.." Validar said condescendingly, smirking at Nowi. It was very clear he wasn't afraid of her at all. "A baby dragon wishes to challenge me? Perhaps the Divine Dragon's Voice, but you? Heheh...""Correct, your scales are clearly weak, and your teeth and claws are much duller than her's. You aren't even worth the time." Raising his arm, suddenly a demon would emerge from the Devil's Tower, a rather long, flying one. This was the Gigapede, and it was probably much more creepy than what Nowi was used to. It wasn't as large as Nowi was, but it was much longer, and without any warning it suddenly charged ehr, biting into her neck and driving her into the ground off the gallows. It would send dozens of electrical shocks through her body while its teeth were sunk into her neck as well. "..Vergil." Derrah said.Vergil nodded, before walking casually over to Lissa, grabbing the back of the chair. "...Say your prayers, princess. You're about to take a bad fall..." (( OoC: ))

Owain "The darkness is upon us! My sword hand howls!!"  "HALT, FIEND!" Came... a very familiar voice to Lissa. Vergil stopped, his attention immediately going to the teenager who had made his way to the gallows. Surprisingly well with how many demons were around. They must all be focusing on Chrom. "Take your hand from that chair, lest you lose it! My sword hand twitches! It hungers.... FOR JUSTICE!""..." Vergil just gave him a blank stare. "...And who are you supposed to be?""I'M GLAD YOU ASKED!" The eager teenager shouted, before assuming his signature stance... "I am the last echo of hope from a dying world!" He started. "I am the wolf who howls for justice!" He continued. "I am the eagle who cries for love!!" He... continued... "I am the heir to the exalted bloodline of Ylisse, and the damned bloodlne of Grima!" .... "I... AM OWAIN!" He finally finished. "Now prepare, evildoer! The hand cannot be denied! No one lays a finger on the mother of Owain!" And with that, he rushed Vergil, with... surprising speed. Vergil barely had enough time to draw his massive sword to defend himself. He almost found his neck pierced by Owain's blade."Tch!" Vergil grunted. This guy's crazy... but he's got serious skill to back up that crazy. "Hrah!" He shoved Owain back, before kicking him in the gut, sending him a good ways away from Lissa. Now would be a good time to kill Lissa, Vergil realized, but... he was too much like his father. He could never pass up a good fight. And instead, he charged after Owain and engaged him in battle."HA! You dare cross blades with the fated child of Robin and Lissa?! Have at you! You will soon learn to fear the name, Owain Dark!" And with that, their "epic" battle began."...?""That is... my grandchild..." Validar said, almost sounding ashamed as he did. "...What... where... ... ..." It almost seemed like he was speechless to learn he was related to someone so... colorful. (( OoC: ))

- Nowi -   Nowi, while she liked to talk endlessly, wasn't here to be foolish, like say, Chrom over there rushing in to many demons he knew nothing about! As soon as the one speaking raised his arm, she knew something was coming. It didn't take a lot to sense another presence near by for her, especially when said creature was so darn ugly! She seen it coming, and in that second she made one last move to turn her head, and snap her razor sharp teeth into the rope above Lissa's head, hoping to snap it off before she was knocked off by the spikey, creepy creature of hell. It's teeth didn't get to deep, what with the help of dragon scales, and the fact that she used her own claws to try and grab at it's teethy-face to slam down into the ground as the electrical shocks coursed through her body.Sure it hurt, but she wasn't going to give up ether!
Nowi's attempt to destroy the rope didn't seem to work completely, it was still in tact, some. So should she have fallen, it may of broken off before it would even get a chance to strangle or snap her neck as it was intended.So, to bad for the evil ones. Then came another voice, one she REALLY didn't want to hear, not here. Wow, she would have a lot of yelling to do later. At both her prideful son and careless brother. "Ugh...Owian...Why are you all here?! This is a trap!! A TRAP FOR CHROM! Protect him! They want him! " She yelled, loud enough for everyone to hear even through all the fighting. For her own situation, she was rather calm about it. Maybe because she knew somehow, she would make it? And while it seemed she was angry and unthankful, she just didn't want to see them or Owian harmed..

Validar "Human bonds are leaves in the wind. They offer you nothing." This battling went on for quite some time. Owain seemed to be getting the upper hand on Vergil, and Chrom seemed to be clearing out a good number of demons. Say what you wanted about his tactics, Chrom seemed to have the strength to back up his brashness. Of course, having the strongest Manakete alive backing you up wasn't so bad either. Since the rope around Lissa's neck was no ordinary rope, since it hadn't been severed completely, it took only a few moments for it to regenerate completely. This had to end now. "ENOUGH!" Validar shouted, suddenly behind Lissa. He grabbed the chair, smirking. "This is the end! Throw down your arms and surrender, or the princess DIES!" He said, sliding the chair slightly back to prove his point."Tch!" Chrom's eyes narrowed dangerously at Validar "...You dastard...." What was he to do here? Validar's speaking had stopped the demons momentarily. Perhaps he could try a direct assault to him, but the distance was more than enough for the Sorcerer to kill Lissa before he reached him."NOW, Chrom. I won't wait for some miracle to save you all. You're OUT of miracles. Drop your weapons, or I'll send the princess to join her beloved!""..." Chrom grunted, dropping his Falchion to the ground. "Fine." He couldn't risk his sister's life... "Tiki! Nowi! Owain! Stop fighting. That's an order." He said seriously to the three."...Curses!" Owain said, throwing his sword to the ground. Vergil put his blade to Owain's neck, ready to kill him if he made any sudden movements. Several scythes were also placed at Chrom's neck, and similar weapons would be at Nowi's and Tiki's as well.Validar smirked. "Finally, we have order." He glanced at Vergil, who met his gaze. "...Kill the brat." He said, referring to Owain. "But first! Allow him to see the end of the royal brat of Ylisse!" And just like that, he pulled the chair out from under Lissa, causing her to fall straight down, and the momentum of the fall would cause her neck to break. Chrom lunged forward, but there was nothing he could do. Owain's face covered with fear; there was nothing he could do to save his mother. She would be dead within a second. In that moment, all the memories of him and her together flashed through his mind. Memories of just those two, of those two with Robin and Morgan. ...Everything..."NO! PLEASE!""LISSAAAAAA!""HAHAHAHA!!"
...And with that, Lissa landed right on the wooden floor of the gallows. That would smart a bit, but she would feel perfectly fine. Validar paused for a moment. "...?" He only right then realized that he had seen the blade of an Elwind spell fly forward and cut through the "rope" right as Lissa began to fall. "...What?!" He turned to look in the direction of the spell's origin. "....!!" His eyes widened in shock, and his mouth went agape."My, Chrom, you sure have made a mess of this haven't you?" (( OoC: ))

Robin "We're not pawns of some scripted fate. I believe we're more. Much more...
There's something between us all. Something that keeps us together... Like...
Invisible ties, connecting us."  Chrom and Owain's eyes both went skyward, looking to the source of that painfully familiar voice. It couldn't be...
Floating there just above the mass amount of demons and people, was a man in a familiarly designed coat, with short silver hair.
Robin had returned."...O-oh... gods..." Chrom's features resembled Validar. He couldn't believe it. He had hoped, but never thought that it could actually happen. ..."...R-Robin! You're... you're here!""F-father!" Owain sniffed. Now suddenly he had another reason to cry. Happiness. Perhaps this wasn't the best time, but he didn't care! His father had returned! "I-it's just as the ancient sages foresaw! A hero would come in the n-nick of... of.... Oh, father! You're back!" He cared a lot more about that than his little fantasies right now."Let's hold the reunion for later. We have a battle to win, and though it may look like a losing one now... that's why I'm here. Time to tip the scales!" He replaced his Elwind tome with that of Bolgonone, raising his arm and causing several spouts of lava to come up from the ground and overtake legions of demons, killing them on contact. Replacing it once more, he now had Thoron, which he used to sent a bolt of lightning straight through the Gigapede's skull. It may not kill it, but it went straight down and wouldn't get up for quite a while.
Finally, he dropped straight down to the gallows, challenging Vergil to a duel. Vergil took his sights straight off of Owain to focus on this new, stronger target. He managed a single swing, which was easily parried by Robin. "Predictable!" He said, before delivering a decisive stab to Vergil's gut, sending lightning through his body by use of his Levin Sword. In the same fluid motion, he pulled the blade out and pointed it straight at Validar, his father, who had begun to advance towards Lissa.
Robin walked towards him, his sword pointed at the Sorcerer. ...Validar began to back away at the same pace, clearly not exactly confident against his son. "You want a fight? Now you have one," Now standing in front of his wife, Robin turned to look over his shoulder at her. "...Lissa... I have a lot to apologize for, but right now, will you stand at my side and give me strength like you always have?" He turned his attention back to Validar and Derrah beside him. "As long as you're at my side, I won't lose. Count on it." He directed again at Lissa."...Right." Chrom had sad to Robin's first comment, before getting Falchion once more and, his strength renewed, began to decimate what remained of the demons once again...Owain liked to think about just how far he had come since joining the Shepherds, but WOW, seeing his father not holding anything back sure showed him how much further he had left to go. But it wasn't a bad thing. Seeing his father in action gave him so much vigor! He reclaimed his blade, grinning. "Ha! Like a whetstone of hope, father has come to sharpen our previously dull blades with his might! I am at your side, father, mother, and uncle! Let us dispose of these pests, so a proper reunion can take place!" (( OoC: ))
