Haku yawned again and the tears fell. She took the tissue from Amy gently and wiped the tears. "For some reason I can't sleep...." She said looking down casting a shadow over her eyes.

Amy looked at Haku with sympathy. She gently cleared a tear from Haku's eye. It'll be alright she said, confident as well as nicely.

Haku looked up at Amy with a smile. She then yawned once more.

Amy smiled softly back. She thought that Haku yawning looked rather, cute, even though she didn't comment about it.

Haku yawned again after a few minutes of silence. She had blinked a few more times until yawning once more. She was really it seemed.

Out of curiosity, what have you tried to fall asleep? Amy asked. She knew some ways to fall asleep faster. She just wanted to know what was tried.

Haku started to think. "I tried holding his breath while closing my eyes, I drank hot chocolate, I read a few books from by bag..." She said counting her fingers as she spoke.

Amy gave Haku a somewhat sad smile. She remembered that she had mentioned drinking hot chocolate, meaning food was useless. Is there something on your mind that's bothering you? she asked.

Haku looked to the side once more. "I miss my father...." Haku said sadly as tears formed at the edge of her eyes.

I'm sorry for your loss, when'd he pass? Amy replied softly. She had a feeling it wouldn't be a good idea if she held Haku's hand.

"2,000 miles in space....." Haku said estimating the number since she didn't remember it well. Her tears fell harder and harder as they hit the floor making a 'plop' every time.
