Blaine tried to hold back her laugh as Lena swatted away the dust bunny that was on her desk, though it ended up sounding like she was choking. Now one was tickling her ankles. She tried to kick it away but ended up kicking the desk instead. She took a few deep breaths as she tried to not curse.

 Liviana MacLaren stumbled through the doorway, her pale face blank. Her features seemed worn, and she looked around the room as if she was trying to remember where she was. Her curls swayed blandly, missing their usual bounce. Meekly, Liviana approached the Professor and hoarsely said, "I am so sorry for not attending class." (Very sorry indeed! I am student teaching IRL, and it keeps me busy. I don't know how often I will be able to get on, but I am still here! Do you want me to make up all of my work? redface )

Amelia entered just after the pale girl. It horrified her to see her so weak. But as she stood beside her, some of her natural glow faded, and her breathing grew harder. Her mind wanted her to touch her, to try and make the girl feel better, but she couldn't do that, she couldn't touch someone she didn't know. Besides, didn't everyone feel the heaviness she was carrying? How could someone who knew her ignore this? Trying to override what she was feeling, she tried to send waves of positivity towards the girl, without touching her, but it felt overrun by her fatigue. She stood silently behind her, forgetting to make her usual introduction and excuse to the professor.

Aludra Yvette... "Excellent." Aludra grinned broadly as she saw a hoard of dust bunnies hopping and flopping around the room. One hopped on and off her desk like a mad rabbit. "Now lets see these little suckers mate!" she chuckled. This would be a much better distraction then just sitting at the desk doing nothing but wishing they had an assignment. ...7th Year Slytherin

It dawned on Liviana that the professor was too busy to answer her question at this time, but...would she notice if the unstable girl left the classroom? She needed to rest, and stepping back into several active classrooms would be the death of her along with everything else going on in her life.
Liviana sneaked out of the room, angry at herself for being so overwhelmed.

Silently Amelia watched the girl walk past her, obviously also realizing the teacher's lack of notice of the two of them. She cursed herself for not following, trying to console herself someone else would take care of her. Agreeing with the girl, talking to the teacher seemed pointless at the moment, she walked over to the girl making dust bunnies 'mingle.' Though her innocence kept her from knowing how accurate the attempt was, she smirked, "Now if only I could convince my mom that's why they reappear." Though the girl appeared quite older than her, she also seemed to be the only one having fun in this class. Taking the empty seat beside her ((if there isn't one, I'll edit this)) Amelia gave a smile to the girl. "Are first years supposed to do that too?" She probably could adapt that spell she'd learned in Transfiguration, Piertotum Locomotor, to move things around. At least she guessed she could.

Olli Hufflepuff ; Fifth YearLoudly dropping her books on the first open desk she saw, Olli walked up to who she assumed was the teacher and held out a hand. "I'm Olli." she said with a grin.

Lena reached into her bag and got out a piece of parchment and a type of writing material she had recently received as a gift from very nice muggle friends. In the note that was attached to the gift, it said they were called markers and were used to write and draw, a bit like a quill. They all had coloured caps and after uncapping a blue one, Lena began to write her name on the parchment by rubbing the pointed tip to the parchment. Her name appeared in a nice shade of light blue. She smiled to herself and began to write her name in various colours. She even began to draw different pictures by using the different colours and smiled to herself once more. These muggles.. They’re absolutely brilliant.

OlliHufflepuff ; Fifth YearUpon hearing the comment about how brilliant muggles were, Olli turned to the girl who had spoken. "I know eh?" she exclaimed. "I'm Olli," she added, so as not to scare the Gryffindor. She looked at the parchment with multiple coloured streaks and grinned. "Markers?"

Lena looked up from her colour filled parchment as she heard a voice nearby. Oh, hello, Olli! I’m Lena! Nice to meet you! As Lena saw Olli look at the parchment she said. Yes, they’re called markers and they're used to write and draw and such. They're kinds of tubes filled with ink. So, unlike quills, you never have to dip them in ink and don’t have to worry about breaking an ink jar while carrying one, like I've done so many times, ruining every thing that was in my bag! She said with fascination. My family and I, we know many muggles and we have very good friends that are muggles. This is a gift they sent me the other day. She looked back at them and repeated. Markers.. Brilliant. She was grinning broadly.

Aludra Yvette... Aludra stared blankly at a moment towards the first year student whom had just sat beside her. No one that... young had ever bluntly started a conversation with her. What was even more interesting was that statement, "Now if only I could convince my mom that's why they reappear". She assumed the girls mother cleaned. It was strange to imagine cleaning a house for Aludra since she always had house elves around to do it.
She smiled back, trying to be nice. Aludra leaned back in her chair and shook her head. "No, your not supposed to but it wouldnt hurt if you knew a little something extra. Usually you'll just clean goo off of the desks or lift a feather, stuff like that. In the higher years you'll do advanced spells but their still boring. Learned this one from my Grandfather when he used to animate my dolls." ...7th Year Slytherin

Always up to learning new things the young Ravenclaw nodded. She felt tiny, sitting beside the seventh year, but she was at least acting nice. For a moment though, she couldn't help but stare at her for a few seconds; her surprise seemed to be echoed. She shook her head, as if to brush it off and remembered the spell they used in Transfiguration the first day. Sure, she wasn't entirely certain she liked or respected the teacher, but she'd learned something; more than she could say for a few classes. "Is it Piertotum Locomotor? Or at least similar?" It was a completely aloud guess, but the possibility was there. She knew that the older girl wasn't in the Transfiguration class, but she didn't elaborate on how she possibly knew it.
