Ginelles eyes went wide for a moment, but then she smiled at Nathaniel. She was actually kind of glad that he decided not to sit next to them, but her cheeks turned a deep shade of pink when Amelia asked him to sit with them. Maybe today would have been a better day if it weren't her birthday. ((I completely forgot that I marked her birthday down for today... xD )) She never liked making a big fuss about her birthday, because it meant centering the day around her. It wasn't fair, she always thought. That's why she decided to keep it a secret. "You don't have to sit with us if you don't want to, but we wouldn't mind your company." Ginelle said with a small encouraging smile to Nathaniel. Hopefully, he would say yes, or hopefully he would say no... Ginelle didn't know what she wanted!

Amelia could sense the embarrassment from Gin, though it surprised her. Weren't friends supposed to be notified of crushes? She obviously liked Nathaniel more than Amelia did, but she'd hoped...Shaking her head, she motioned again for him to come over. Amelia probably wouldn't have time to date, spending too much time planning pranks or doing homework. She'd rather Gin or Olli try it out first, then tell her what it was like.

"Bite me ?" he raised an eyebrow in absolute confusion. That was new. Besides the nice welcoming words and gestures, Nathaniel stared at the ladies before slowly taking his things and moving over to them. Goodbye wall. He slided over a chair, sitting behind Amelia. All the girls faced him, looking flustered. He didn't step in on something too important right ? Glancing down on himself, he just felt amused. "Let's see... I'm still alive, not a drop of blood coming out of me and I won't turn undead anything soon. So, anything I can help out with ?" He crossed his arms, discreetly patting the chain under his robe. Still there.

OlliHufflepuff ; Fifth YearSeeing Ginny blush, Olli grinned, quickly covering it up with a hand. She could tell there was a little something going on between Ginny and Nathaniel. She cast a sideways glance at Ammy to see if she had come to the same conclusion.

Amelia laughed, glad he could take the teasing. She kept her glance a little longer than necessary, unconsciously revealing her possible interest to Olli. Still she replied to Nathaniel, since she felt Gin was too much in glee to do so--not to gain his attention more, "We'd accept you bleeding or undead, don't worry." It took a surprising amount of effort not to look over at Gin and wink. This charade thing was fun.

OlliHufflepuff ; Fifth YearAs Olli sat watching the interactions between the two other girls and Nathaniel, she was hit with a realization. Was she the only girl here that didn't like him? She couldn't help but laugh out loud before managing to quickly clap a hand over her mouth.

Sparrow continued to sit around and wait. She wondered when something would start. She felt kind of lonely hearing the chatter on the other side of the room, but it wasn't anything new. She was use to that especially from her childhood. It had been a troubling time and she had cut herself off often. She started doodling on a piece of parchment and tried not to think about the past because she didn't want to start crying in the middle of class for no apparent reason.

Amelia felt sadness. It was soft, covered up by whomever it was from, but it was there. Suddenly tuning out the conversation around her, she started to glance around. No, it wasn't any of her neighbors...she almost overlooked Sparrow, but when her gaze brushed by her, the sadness peaked. Sparrow? Why was Sparrow sad? Amelia tried to tell herself it was something personal, something she didn't want to be bothered by, but she couldn't convince herself. Whispering to Olli, "I'll be back, you get to chaperone these two," before heading over to Sparrow. Standing behind her she asked, "Can I see what you're drawing?" Suddenly Professor Reynold's cruel words hit her. Maybe it was because of the sadness she already felt but it hurt worse than when he originally said it. Because now it might be true. Maybe she was trying to help everyone. Maybe the older years didn't like her butting into business. Stepping back, which resulting in her hitting a desk, she tried to apologize for interrupting Sparrow.

Sparrow looked up when she heard Ammy and was about to show her the drawing when Ammy stepped back and started apologizing. She wondered what this was all about. Sparrow said, "Why should you be sorry? It is not like I was in the middle of a Van gogh" with a grin. Sparrow wondered what was up.
