Notwen was surprised to see Nova at the Old Cantonese. As much as he ate their he hadn't seen the genin at all. The dark-skinned blonde entered the hut smiling and waved back at Nova.
"What's up, stranger." he replied. "I'm doing well. Haven't seen much of you since the Chuunin Exams." The Uchiha sat down next to the genin, who began to bombard with questions. "Well the arm isn't actually completely mine." He pushed up the sleeve covering the prosthetic arm and showed it to Nova. "The bones are made of metal and there are artificial fibers on the inside that act like muscles. The operation to bind this thing to my nervous system was pretty intense, had me bedridden for half a month." Notwen rapped a knuckle against the table so Nova could hear the dull metal thud it made. After letting the sleeve fall back to it's former position he placed an order for thirty pieces of dumplings. "What have you been up to this past year, buddy?" Notwen asked Nova as he waited for the cooks to finish his order.

Notwen laughed at Nova's claim about being happy. The chef brought his order of dumplings, which were piled high on a platter. On the side was the special soy sauce that brought out the flavor of the pork trapped within the thick, steaming dough.
"Here you go Notwen. I prepared the usual condiment to go with the dumplings." said Gorosei, the cook. He took a quick glance at the genin cramming food into his mouth. "Who's your friend?"
"He's Nova Naru, a genin i met last year at the Exams." The lean cook nodded understandingly and turned to return to his duties.
"Well enjoy your meal, son. Give me a holler if you want more." When Gorosei was gone, Notwen poured the sauce over the entire platter and began eating a few of the dumplings. The flavor caused him to drool slightly, but he stopped and resumed his original train of thought.
"You have no idea how annoying it is to get past security with this thing." By the time Notwen had gotten that out Nova was calling to the back for more. The dark-skinned blonde popped a few more dumplings into his mouth before saying, "Man, Nova, i would think that you just survived some famine by the speed you finished the first plate. You sure you can handle another three of those?" For having such a lean build, it appeared as if all the food the genin was consuming was vanishing down a black hole.

As the sun was beating down on Kumogakure, Takeshi was in the back yard of his parents house practicing his Taijutsu on a wooden dummy. It seemed like that last few days had been really sunny and a bit warm as well, even more so though on the magnetic cliffs. This just so happened to be the location on where he'd been training for the past year, working on and improving his fighting style, which now seemed to have influence from the imagery of the five animals. This was taught to him by a single monk who came from the temple of storms to help him refine his fighting style. The single reason in which this monk had agreed to help was because of some help with funding and repair work in which Takeshi's father had done. This had ended up in Takeshi getting some real good training, the only thing it didn't give him though was a teacher that would be able to last. This was because the monk that had taught Takeshi was only going to teach him until he'd learned the basics. This didn't take very long unfortunately and thus he was only taught for a year. That year wasn't all bad though, he'd gotten some good training in and now felt much more confident with his fighting style. While still striking the wooden dummy, Takeshi figured that it would be good to review what he'd been learning. Starting off in a solid stance, he opened his hand pushing his palms out and stiffened his fingers until they acted like tiger claws. Facing the wooden structure, Takehsi pushed his left forearm into the wooden beam acting as a right arm and then struck the solid wooden body with his palm. As soon as the palm made contact, he pushed his fingers against the wood and drug them down the body of the dummy, leaving scratch marks in the wood. He continued by repeating that action but changing hands. Next he changed his hands formations so that his two fore fingers and thumb were pinched together in both hands forming 'beaks'. With that, Takeshi leaned back putting the majority of weight on his back leg then sprung forward with a flurry of quick hand movements. These hand movements all had a purpose though, with them being; rising and falling back hand blocks, cross arm back fists, and fingertip strikes. He ended the flurry by using a front kick to preform a back flip and land in his next review. Takeshi's fingers were now completely flat, and his left elbow was on his right back hand as both arms now acted like the slithering serpents that they were to represent. There wasn't much he would do with this though, only use the arms to preform forearm blocks that had a very fluid motion. As soon as he was done with the blocks, he took a step back from the dummy and half clenched his fists, using not his main knuckles but the lower set on the fingers. With this hand formation, he started to strike the wooden dummy with swift yet solid shots that started to crack the wood. Finally Takeshis hand shifted to the final and probably most used, only by himself anyways, form. He fingers curled slightly more then the tigers claw formation and his palm wasn't the main striking area ether. His hands were placed out in front of him, the left arm was bent so that his palm was facing the dummy, while the right hand was palm up to the sky. With that, he started to strike the solid structure with his elbows while moving in a zig zag type motion. He could hear the wood creaking from the strikes now, and realizing that he'd gotten a relatively poor quality wooden dummy, figured that he'd end his training and go get something to eat. With that, Takeshi took a half step back, and then did a cresent kick in the air followed by a second powerful cresent kick to snap the dummy where he'd earlier cracked it.
With training finally over, it was time to go get something to eat. Entering his house, he quickly just put on a light over coat and changed his pants from his training pants to some cargo pants in which were a little baggy so if he got into trouble his clothing wouldn't restrict him. Now changed, Takeshi went back into the yard and easily jumped the fence and headed down the street. It was starting to get busy, so he knew that it was lunch time and also knew that if he didn't hurry and pick somewhere to eat he'd have to make something himself, which he had no intention on doing right after his training session. It wasn't a long walk to the restaurant area, but figured that speed walking would get him there fast enough to make sure that there was enough room for him. The wind was now starting to go from absolutely nothing to a nice breeze as he walked to a destination in which he hadn't planned yet. He'd finally gotten cooled down due to the breeze once he'd reached a restaurant called 'The old Canonese'. He figured that it'd be as good of a place as anything to get lunch, so he entered the building and found an empty seat. This place was busy but also relatively quiet, basically meaning that there was no-one screaming, so it seemed that this meal would be enjoyable by atmosphere. He looked over and placed he order of some pork dumplings as well as some soup with tea. He was hungry, but also planned on training some more later on so he didn't want to over stuff himself.

Takeing in the word that floated out of Notwen's mouth he began to think about all the training that he had done over the year. "You know something that i have found is that when motivated by a person my dedication to the art of the shinobi is almost unrestricted for a lack of a better term." Nova said as he noticed the other genin that had entered the small hut. "The barbaque is excelent as well." He added to Notwen's privious statement. He then took a peice of his food and shoved it into his mouth before attempting to speak. "See" He said as he swallowed his warm and satisfying lunch. He took a sip of water that was complamented with his dish and let it flow down his throat, carrying the taste of spicey and sweet sauce with it. He then began to dig into the white rice. He added the barbawue into the bowl of rice and mixed it together makeing somewhat of a plesant combination in every spoonful.

Nova stated that when he became motivated by other people his dedication to being a ninja was almost unrestricted, which made Notwen feel good inside. The newcomer turned to face the duo and thanked them for their recommendations despite the fact that he had already ordered. Noticing that he had not ordered a drink, Notwen called to the kitchen for an iced green tea. It was served in under two minutes. The dark-skinned blonde was in the middle of sipping his drink when the newcomer inquired about his identity. He put down his glass and cleared his throat.
"Yep. That would be me." At that moment there was something about the boy's face caught his attention. "I'm sorry, but do i know you from somewhere? You seem very familiar."

Takeshi looked at Notwen as he answered his question. It was as he presumed, this shinobi was Notwen after all. Right after he was answered, the person sitting right beside Notwen spoke up, stating the he hadn't seen him before. Takeshi thought that the responce was to be added to Notwen's comment about possibly seeing him from somewhere. It was then that this other person intruduced himself. Nova Naru, an aspiring swordsman. It was also at this moment when Nova stated that he wasn't sure if Takeshi had introduced himself or not. Takeshi lightly shook his head then looked to the both of them. "You're right Nova, I haven't introduced myself. My name is Takeshi Kaguya, a pleasure to meet you both." Takeshi smiled lightly, and picked up his tea. As he held onto it, he looked over to Notwen and nodded slightly. "You might have seen me traveling back and forth from the magnetic cliffs while I was training, or you could have seen me at the chuunin exams when I came to ask you a question. You seemed busy at that time so I waited, but eventually left seeing that it wasn't going to be soon you'd be done what ever you were doing." Takeshi lightly blew on his tea as to cool it off slightly, then set it back down. "That question I was going to ask you still stands so I'll ask you. I wish to become a student of yours. Now knowing that we just meet, I'll let you know why. I saw your first fight, and in all honesty to fight with only one arm shows; dedication, courage and will that not many people I know have. You showed heart and honor that day too, which is what I'm looking for in a teacher. If you are not looking for a student, have a full roster, or any other reason for not needing or wanting me as a student I will respect your position and continue to train on my own for the time being." Takeshi paused his voice, and then nodded over to Nova as he picked up his food, drink and soup and moved closer to the two of them, balancing all of the dishes on one arm, then using the other arm to re-place all of the dishes onto the table top again. "Thank you for your offer Nova."

Nova was shocked that he was just asked if he would like to join Notwen to forge a three man cell along with Takeshiand liet his face show it. "Is that a question?" He asked laughing. "There wouldn't be anyone i would rather be under then you man!" he said with excitemet. He quckly devoered the remander of his meal and drank the rest of his water before standing up. "I can't help but be excited and overwelled with it ither. This is going to be epic!" He yelled as other people around began to stare at him. he looked at them all and bowed to show he was sorry and took his seat before returning to show excitement. "Takeshi i don't know a lot about you but it seems that Notwen has made some sort of impact on you and i can tell you he is the first person to show me any sort of kindness and i'll be more then happy to be your teammate as well." He continued as he smiled. Nova wasn't able to contain all the thoughts as he tried to calm down but after a little while he finally reclamed his emotions and became calm down enough for the restrant to not kick him out. He then turned to the cheif and appoligised for his rowdyness.
