Cat's eyes widened, and she caught him before he could hit the floor, lowering him carefully the rest of the way. "What the HELL is WRONG with you?" she demanded, glaring up at the man with scorching green eyes, "He hasn't even DONE anything! If you're angry because I destroyed half the building, how does it make sense to take it out on him?"

"I'm not." the man replied, looking down at Reaper. "I simply thought it would be the easiest way to...how did the woman put it? Ruffle his feathers?" he said, then took a few steps back from the man. "That said...I'd take quite a few steps away from him. I doubt he'll be seeing straight once the pain dies down."
Reaper grunted painfully and curled onto his side, his body still jerking from the pain.
Rapture stared down at him with a large smile as his Blood form wrapped around his body. He could smell it after all. "You're going to let him play?"
"Why not? He's not going to do much more critical damage." Xion replied.
Reaper rolled over onto his hands and knees. Long, green spikes begining to poke through his skin.

Cat let out a little yelp and backed off. Fast. As in, one minute she was crouching beside him, and the next second she was on the other side of the room. It was mostly surprise--the superhuman equivalent of jumping out of one's chair--but... "Wh... What?"

"Just what happens when he looses his temper." Xion replied. "If I'm not mistaken, Reaper's taken great pains to make sure he doesn't use these abilities around you. Something about him wanting to look like a monster as little as possible."
Rapture let out a cry from the hallway, similar to that of a Raptor. The look on his face, it must have been to coax Reaper on.
Reapers body soon became covered in crystal green spikes and armor. What could be seen of his skin turned black and inky. The structure of his arms and legs warped a bit, and a long tail slithered it's way out.
He didn't look back at Cat when he pushed himself onto his feet. His focus was solely on Rapture.
He was in a laboratory. They were going to experiment on him again.
This guy had twenty years coming to him. And there was no Strange to stop him now.

Cat just stared, eyes very wide, and shook her head slowly. From the look on her face, she probably didn't even realize she was doing it. What the hell... Wh... This was the thing that had been attacking the Spiders and Logan. She couldn't... make this fit, somehow. Even with everything that had happened, was happening, she couldn't make it compute.

Rapture grinned and crouched a bit, ready for what was going to come next. He made a crackling sound, similar to the way the stones had been communicating.
Reaper's spikes sharpened and stood on end. Letting out a roar, he lept at the other creature, fire licking the ground where he had just stood.
Rapture lept to the side, out of sight from the doorway. Reaper followed.
Metal was slashed at, things were broken, series of inhuman cries. It was obvious they were going to destroy anything they came in contact with.
Xion watched the two for a moment, then glanced back over at Cat.

Cat wasn't looking at him. She was still obviously working things out in her head, putting things together. After a beat or two more, her eyes hardened again, and she started after the other two, walking past X without so much as glancing at him; she was exactly that focused.
((If he doesn't want her getting involved in the fight, now is the time to do something about it.))

The fight had taken the two down the hall and through a few busted doors. There were a few shrill screams, but they were cut rather short. A metal door flew through a wall. Green spikes littered the walls of the hall. Blood splatters here and there.
Finally Reaper had managed to catch up to Rapture enough to grab onto him. The two creatures wrestled around one of the hallways, trying to pin the other and slice through what they could. A few personnel that were able to get out of their rooms aimed weapons at the two creatures and fired. Rapture knew to get out of their way. Reaper wasn't as lucky.
Angered, he turned his attention to the humans to take them out as quickly as possible. He didn't care how messy. He wanted to kill, and that's all he could think about right now.

Felicia's eyes widened, and she immediately sent a net of super-strong, sticky webbing to block the hallway. It wasn't enough to stop Reaper--not exactly--but it was enough to slow him down a little. "Are you stupid?" she snarled. Vanilla humans. What the hell? "Run!"
... Luckily, they did. Maybe they had only been firing because there hadn't been any other options.
Standing there, she realized that the exit was less than a minute away. She remembered exactly where it was located from when she'd been running around and planting explosives. Making a break for it was definitely an option; she'd tried, after all.
Letting out a snarling curse, she continued after the two monsters. She had to be losing her mind. There really was no other explanation. Even more unnerving, she wasn't sure if it was affection for Reaper (weird) or hatred for the other guy (more understandable) that was driving her. Well... the second one made more sense, so that was what she would go with.

The two creatures were back at it once more. Slashing at each other, slamming into walls, doing what ever they could to try and pin the other down. Then it would be time to kill. At least for Reaper Rapture only wanted to beat the other man into a pulp. He was pretty sure this would be his only chance to play with Reaper. If the other women got their way that was.

This fight was too much. There were too many sharp edges, and both combatants were fighting with absolute ferocity. It was even worse than Spider-man's various fights with Venom, now that she was looking at it. What help could she possibly hope to be?
She did not want to get in the middle. She didn't want to stay out of it, either. Okay, okay... what were her options? She stopped again, watching them fight. She couldn't do anything to help him, after all, so... maybe it would be better to just book it. Come back with help. ... Of some kind. She would come back.
After a long, long beat, she pressed the little device on the front of her costume, and vanished.
((Yeah. So... If X doesn't stop her, she's going to exit next post.))

Xion appeared in the hallway, watching the little fight. He glanced over at where Cat had been at a moment ago, then looked at the doorway thoughtfully.

((At this point, she'd just run back to the sanctum and freak the hell out. After all, she doesn't know about Strange any more than X does, and Strange doesn't know about her. If he did, he'd probably have one of two reactions... and neither of them would be very helpful. So...
Plus, I honestly think X's boss would be PISSED if he let her go. He's got to know that, right?))

Xion's eye began to glow a rather eerie shade of red. Then the door to the exit just....no longer existed. In the long run...it wouldn't be very beneficial to let the woman go. Besides, it may be more entertaining to see what the women in charge planned to do with her.
His attention shifted as Reaper was slammed into the wall. He clawed at the wall, trying to pull himself back onto his feet.
Rapture stood on the other side of the hall and laughed. Tendrils snaking out of his form and slicing at the air around him.

Fortunately or unfortunately, Cat's attention apparently shifted with this as well, as something invisible chose that moment to drive both her feet into Rapture's chest, skillfully avoiding the flailing tendrils on her way in and out.
