((Since we seem to have hit a bit of a road block, allow me to assist:
@Boris: Gods and wanna-be gods can pick up on Van's location (the gods haven't lost all their power yet, they're just getting weaker little by little) and go after him for their assorted motives.
@Haru: NPC soldiers can attempt to arrest Ceri for aiding a fugitive and/or go after Van, Mala, Rincewind, and Riley.))

(((I didn't want to start them off on his way because I wanted to introduce them.)))
Bandora was getting bored of waiting and began to think of what spell to cast over the mob. Maybe she could bottle them up and use them for later when she needed some sacrifices. Bandora smiled at the thought, but decided not to. Besides, if the somehow got free from their imprisonment, they would go after her; although, a few mob members would be no hassle.
Bandora stepped out of her hiding place. "What is an angry mob doing at this time of night,? she asked, not really caring.
"Oh Zak, you are quite playful," Amelia said as she began to look for him. She walked around in search of Zak, wondering where he could be hiding. She stepped on some twigs, making the crack. She jumped, and landed on a bush.
"Ouch!" Zakaria said as he got up. "You found me," he said yawning. "If you don't mind, I'm going to sleep now," he said as he lied down on the ground. He closed his eyes and had sweet dreams of when he was a god not losing their powers.
"Oh Zakaria, you are so cute, even when you sleep," she said. She picked up Zakaria and headed in a random direction "I know you want to find Van after you wake up, but we need to seal him as soon as possible," she said quietly. She knew if she woke him up, he might be cranky, but she was sure he wouldn't if they found Van.
She came upon a village and saw an angry mob outside of the house and some lady dressed in red.

"I'm pretty sure you only carried me for a brief time after my spectacular attempt at rescuing you from demon rape." Van said simply.
"It probably helps though that you've got less responsibility." Riley said, ignoring an event that they for the most part agreed not to talk about. "Before you had your priestess duties while taking care of me, but now you only had to worry about your magical studies, which something you already wanted to do."

"It was alot for me." Mala said to Van, before going on to reply to Riley. "That might very well be it. I don't know why, but over the years I've felt so free. I also think I've grown rather wreckless, thinking back on my actions earlier." she said with an expression of pure amusement.

Riley and Van exchanged slightly confused and surprised looks before looking back at Mala.
"You?"
"Reckless?"
"Mala, in all my years, not once would I ever have considered you reckless. You were more...anti-reckless."

{XD Lol, I get what I pay for I guess...lazy tentacled b*****d... ((OHSHIT. Did I just type that out loud? biggrin ))}
Mala couldn't help but laugh at their reactions. "For the past seven years, my actions haven't had many consequences for anyone aside from myself. If you had seen how many explosions in potions class I accidentally caused, you'd say otherwise. To be fair, though, your average student has caused at least five unless they were previously trained in alchemy."

"Thanks for the vote of confidence, sis." Riley joked, sticking his tongue out at Mala. "Really though, even Van admits that I can hold my own." he said folding his arms proudly.
"At yet you'll still be 'kid' to me until you outgrow those baby-face features of yours." Van teased. Even at the age of twenty three, Riley was still getting mistaken for an eighteen year old.
