Daitomi (Dai) Imatokai | Kumo | Ninjutsu Sensor | The Paper Ghost | Jounin | OININ Apprentice | Dai wasn't far behind Kinpaku. My, my, she must be excited for a bath. She thought with a cute, soft smile. She slipped into the bath house shortly after Kin. Dai slid the doors closed behind her and turned to meet the Kage's eyes. Locking their gaze for a moment, Dai felt her heart skip. She couldn't help but to laugh nervously with a goofy smile. xxxxKinpaku Isshinxxxx Dai had truly been nearby, which was in a way, a relief. Once she arrived, there seemed a moment most... awkward. It was a bit intense, by most standards, even more so than when she was stressed beyond belief. Her upper body tensed for a moment, and then came the flask. She hadn't had much to drink that day, but even so she was careful. A deep gulp and the muscles mellowed beneath the buzz, as she turned away for the time being and around a shade. Woman or not, Kin did not reveal herself lightly. "Well, to the first of many, no Dai?" laughed Kin, as she set her gear aside for the moment. Pouches. Cases. Her instruments. In time, the woman came out, a towel wrapped about her, before pulling free her hair often done up, revealing the horns she kept tucked away mostly. "A mask for every situation..."
"And a performance for every soul."

"The better the fighter, the more of a challenge to win."  I will pay for my... L I E S and T R E A S O N ... Daitomi (Dai) Imatokai | Kumo | Ninjutsu Sensor | The Paper Ghost | Jounin | OININ Apprentice | Dai hushed her laughter and felt the awkward tension of the moment. She watched as Kin brought forth a flask and wrapped her lips around it. Was anything new. Dai had always known that Kin was Oni, thanks to Sakaki telling her so. But even before then, she had known. She watched as every inch of Kinpaku's being relaxed to the smooth bitter taste of whatever she was drinking. She couldn't help but to blush softly. "To the first of many, Kin." Dai closed her eyes with a smile that showed she approved of such statement. Dai wasn't very bashful of her body, she turned from Kin and stripped away her shirt. Her skin was flawless, every inch. She removed her belt the carried her silver scroll Kein had presented her in Konoha when he trained her in Genjutsu. Standing in her underwear, Dai tugged her ponytail free and flexed her hands at her side for a second. She touched her shoulder and pulled her skin upward. An odd trick, but it wasn't her real skin; Paper, about 8 inches wide. Every as a scroll that ribbon of paper coiled around Dai's body, revealing horrible;e scars. Some that ran deep and other rose about the skin. The one that stood out was the hand print burn scar that Kyo had given her. She whisked her hand to the side, the paper scroll quickly rolled in her hand. Dai wrapped a towel around her being before loosening her chest wrappings. She turned slowly and looked a Kin, a scar ran from her shoulder to across her collar bone. Several tinier scars barely dotted her upper torso. She smiled as her eyes rested upon Kin's Oni horns. This was the first time she had seen them. Not playing mind to how her body looked, Dai looked Kin in the eyes. "After you." She held her hand out towards the doors the lead to the baths. I’ll take my PUNISHMENT with a grain of salt.  | Chakra Count: 460 / 460 | | Secret Chakra Pool: 150 / 150 | | AC: 8,000 | | Ryo: 3,700 | | Theme: Paper Gangsta | {{ occ :: }}

xxxxKinpaku Isshinxxxx Now, observing Dai was quite the sight... The woman seemed ever prepared for combat, a layer of porcelain like skin being peeled up, revealing a level of awareness that the leader of the village wouldn't have expected. The paper folk were always an odd bunch to her, truly. Kin maintained her composure as best as possible, before Dai whirled about ready to visit the bath. The flawless pallid skin was far from the truth it seemed, as Dai's true flesh was revealed. Still the milky pallor, but speckled with scar tissue visible to the eye. It was... a sad sight. A brief nod, and Kin led the way into the baths, fog billowing about them. She'd forgotten how wonderful the springs could be... "The best part is just relaxing and chatting," Kin grinned some, as she stepped into the pool of water, sliding in carefully. The heated water seared away her stress and tension, leaving her to exhale deeply. "It's a shame to see what ignorance can do..." It was a terrible way to start a conversation, but the woman recalled that the large scar was a memento from the escape from Kiri all those years ago in their naive ways. "Not that knowing can be just as deterring." There was always an anxiety built up, for many a sober oni Kin imagined, when it came down to the properties of their horns. Oni were hunted still, while Kiri had given a rest their hunt of the bloodlines. "A mask for every situation..."
"And a performance for every soul."

Kyoishi was sitting in the boy's stalls, Shi had gone to enjoy the mixed to female baths and left Kyo alone to deal with the terror of water. He was undressed fully except for the wraps on his, he took the one covering a third of his face, then the one on his arm and then his leg, he had to be careful with the one on his back since it wasn't a burn but a gash with stitches and such. From afar he looked to have flawless, muscle built skin, but closer you could see the faint scars of past fights that helped him even get ahead of his age group. He walked out finally to the men's baths, sitting at the edge of the farthest one and shaking a bit. Water soothed burns, he knew that because snow was water in a different form, it had soothed his burns last time before he got wrapped up. He made sure no one he knew that was male was here, that'd be embarrassing. He slunk in slowly, wincing when hot water hit burns, of course, this time he took the towel off before getting in the water. He got to his neck and relaxed, yep, he was that short.

Daitomi (Dai) Imatokai | Kumo | Ninjutsu Sensor | The Paper Ghost | Jounin | OININ Apprentice | Dai's smile faded a little, she saw it in Kin's face. Seeing the composer slightly give away at the site of her scars. Dai, herself was also off put at the sit of her true skin. Kin gave her a brief nod and led the way; Dai held onto her towel as she walked behind Kin. "I agree. It's always nice to have someone to relax and chat with." She smiled as she stepped into the pool of water after Kin. Dai moaned in affect of please to the relaxation of her muscles, she blinked a few times as Kin spoke. Ignorance does run deep and her scars where proof. Resting her back against the wall of the spring, Dai simply touch the deepest set scar, the one that ran across her collar bone. Though through her fingers she could feel the soft risen scar tissue, she didn't feel the press of her fingers on the scar, itself. She looked up at Kin when she spoke of 'not that knowing can be just as deterring'. Dai shared a painful piece of past with Kin. Though Dai's kind, if there was ever anyone else out there with her bloodline, wasn't hunted down like Kin's. "Even as an OININ...I can't help but to strongly disagree to hunt those that are different." Her chest rose a fell, "Like some wild animal. It's disgraceful." She said a little broken from her and Kin's past. Dai looked at Kin and smiled. "But...sometime I catch myself thanking the ignorance." Bashful even to say one of her darkest pieces she hid. "Because if it wasn't for it." She paused. "I wouldn't have met anyone in Kumo that has impacted my life. For the better." Dai couldn't help but to let the smile grew uncontrolled as she gazed at her village leader. xxxxKinpaku Isshinxxxx "There's a fundamental difference in hunting fr sport and hunting for work," Kin answered simply. There wasn't much of a point in debating the idea of hunting through ignorance. Half the time, an Oinin was given the fundamentals and not so much else. In a sense, one could be infinitely more aware of whom they hunted, or infinitely more ignorant as to what it was. It was a job. "Being able to turn the past about like that is very important, if you want to keep going, Dai. Sometimes it's not so easy, but you do it well enough." "Sometimes though... You have to wonder what it could have been. The idea of dancing and performing across the countries, it would have been nice," Kin began, fading back, thinking on the caravan, when it snapped back into place. She'd just completely jumped from one idea to another, not even an inkling to inform the poor girl! "Forgive me, Dai. I forget not everyone knows as much about me as I do them." She couldn't help but laugh at herself, as she sank a little lower into the hot water. "A mask for every situation..."
"And a performance for every soul."

Daitomi (Dai) Imatokai | Kumo | Ninjutsu Sensor | The Paper Ghost | Jounin | OININ Apprentice | Dai watched Kinpaku as she spoke of the differences. She understood them but even some OININ enjoyed the sport of hunting. Dai couldn't hide the shudder at the thought of when Sypher "hunted" her in Kiri. Such darkness that over came his eyes. She shook the feeling free. She looked at Kin as she held some praise in the factor Dai took a negative memory and turned it into a positive. But it was still hard to watch those that she became close to, leave or die. She tried to think of what things could of been if they had gone differently. Dai bit the inside of her lip, she possible would of died if it wasn't for Reon in finding her. She blinked slowly and listened into what Kin was speaking of next. Her eyes grew a bit in surprise that Kin was, at one point, a gypsy. A performer. She leaned forward and smiled. "Performer class?" She asked sweetly. Dai got up and moved closer, sitting next to Kin but left a good foot between them. "What where you before becoming Kage, Kin?" She asked sweetly as she relaxed against the wall. As her eyes studied her village leader as she awaited Kin's answer. xxxxKinpaku Isshinxxxx Kin looked back at Dai. A brief shudder here, and a smile there. There was so much for the girl, in such a short amount of time. "Mother was a brilliant dancer, Dai. Of course, I would have learned to haggle, too," Kin laughed lyrically. Then came the million dollar question. Few in the village actually knew whom she was. She was quite an oddity among the people. Few social ties. "I was a hunter. An apprentice of sorts, much like I instated with the rest of you. Didn't visit the academy, master was all I had." Kin had to smile mournfully. Years taught by her nameless master, an oinin used to be akin to ANBU. Faceless to all but their leaders. "A mask for every situation..."
"And a performance for every soul."

Daitomi (Dai) Imatokai | Kumo | Ninjutsu Sensor | The Paper Ghost | Jounin | OININ Apprentice | Dai's smile grew as Kin opened up. She knew very little of Kin besides her being the Kage of Kumo. Actually, that was all Dai knew about her. She continued to smile as Kin revisited her past. A brilliant dancer, a hunter; of course she apprenticed just like Dai was doing now. Which brought Dai to the thought of ever completing her apprenticeship with Kein. She mentally waved it off quickly and continued to listen. Once Kin was finished, that silly smile was still warmly across Dai's lips. "Sound like one heck of an exciting life." Dai looked off into some corner. Wishing she could travel in a caravan performing. But she was overly a clouts and could walk straight as is. She giggled a little before looking back to Kin. "You carry a violin around. I would love to hear you play sometime. If that's not to much to ask." She was a lover of music. As long as it wasn't used against her in a fight. Her smiled faded into a softer look as she stared at Kinpaku next to her. xxxxKinpaku Isshinxxxx It was a pleasant thing to see, while Dai seemed ever so cheery about the history of the woman. Dipping herself briefly into the water, letting the water run off her hair upon resurfacing. "Could have been a little less exciting, and a little more sober," laughed Kin. She'd been raised on small bits of sake up until she had been on her own. Afterward, she'd spent parts of her life in a drunken haze, much like many of her kin. "It's been a while since I played without combative purpose, but I supposed Cooramoor and I could perform. It's been sitting in its case for so long." She'd selected that guitar over the last year, for it's sheer accessibility versus her violin. Now, Kin rose from the baths, stepping from the bath for a moment. Out of view for a few moments, she returned cracking open a case, sitting upon a wash stool off to the side. "Forgive me if it doesn't sound well," Kin chuckled some, humming a little, before setting the violin in place. A simple lament was what she chose, playing its mournful tune, as if it were wailing melodically for what either had lost. "A mask for every situation..."
"And a performance for every soul."

"The better the fighter, the more of a challenge to win."  I will pay for my... L I E S and T R E A S O N ... Daitomi (Dai) Imatokai | Kumo | Ninjutsu Sensor | The Paper Ghost | Jounin | OININ Apprentice | Dai paused and watched at Kin dipped herself briefly into the water. She nodded as Kin said her life could of been a little less exciting and a little more sober. I never understood why Oni people drink. I asked Sakaki once, but never got an answer." She spoke swiftly of her curiosity. Brushing the wonder from her shoulders, Dai looked at Kin as she spoke. Kin proclaimed it had been a while since she played last. In the time Dai was going to be with her, she was going to try and persuade Kin in playing more. She had always heard music was a great relaxer. Dai watched as Kin rose, stepped from the bath, and vanished back into the dressing room. Dai took this moment to dipped under the surface of the water and surface, while pushing her hair back. Kinpaku return in a few moments with her violin and sat herself on a wash stool off to the side. Dai moved and rested her arms on the side of the bath, resting her chin on her wrists. "I shall not judge." She said with a cute smile as she watched Kin from a far. Dai watched and listened in silence as Kin played. The village leader looked content with her violin; Dai closed her eyes and the simple lament washed over her. How sound it sounded, like the changing of summer into fall when the leaves died off for the coming winter. The Sensor opened her eyes slightly and watched Kin push and pull the bow, every muscle playing to its part. A tear slipped from her eyes, could this tribute be for those lost in the last several months? Another tear slipped, Dai never gave herself time to pay several tears for those that passed. Her little brother, Fuyu, Demetri, and those many other names she had grew too. More tears feel to the rise and fall of the mournful tune; but how could she not? She had always grown with the knowledge that sometimes those important to others, will leave. She took it to heart, so many great minds and people had vanished into the history of Kumo. Dai brushed her eyes, she had grown to hate letting people see her cry. She could only imagine how Kin felt, after all Kin had the weight of the village on her shoulders. The Kage had grown to know those that pasted through her office everyday; but hardly ever got to know her shinobis. Dai looked at her and couldn't help a hidden smile at the corner of her lips. Kin was perfect, in every way possible. Dai's eyes grew wide a little before her cheeks flushed. She realized she had been staring at Kin more often now than before. The Sensor swallowed a little as she watched Kin, feeling something odd in her chest as if her heart would stop when Kin would stop playing. She bit the inside of her lip, hoping that she wasn't falling in love for the Kage. I’ll take my PUNISHMENT with a grain of salt.  | Chakra Count: 460 / 460 | | Secret Chakra Pool: 150 / 150 | | AC: 8,000 | | Ryo: 3,700 | | Theme: Paper Gangsta | {{ occ :: }}

xxxxKinpaku Isshinxxxx Kin wasn't quite certain what to think while she played. The woman had worked so hard to compartmentalize everything she could... It was almost as if she were a ticking time bomb. She'd pulverized the room in the old dojo, and even more so was the sheer effort she had put forth to make everything work. When the song finished, Kin slowly put the violin down, slipping it into the case. Inhaling deeply, she rose again, making her way back to the bath. "Why we drink, you mentioned?" Kin spoke,, trying deeply to change the gears in her mind from this path of those she'd lost. The one's she'd gotten killed. Sinking into the hot water, she shook her head furiously, the goldenrod locks of hair flaying in every which direction she could. "There's probably a couple reasons, Dai. We each have our own sake, in a way, filled with our own chakra, adding compositions to water. In a sense, we drink under the table with our own chakra, truly." She didn't know what others did for motivation to get themselves so drunken that it's degrading, but sorrows and stresses were great ways to keep going, really. Kin slipped into the water further, staring at her own feet. Blinking away what she could, she had to keep composure. Even if Dai was going to be with her, she couldn't let herself cry. All the conversing, her poor song choice... It was like tearing a thousand little gashes into her facade. "A mask for every situation..."
"And a performance for every soul."

Daitomi (Dai) Imatokai | Kumo | Ninjutsu Sensor | The Paper Ghost | Jounin | OININ Apprentice | Dai listened, still biting the inside of her lip, almost causing it to bleed. When the song finished, Dai sniffled a little and brushed her tears away. "That was beautiful, Kin." She said with a small smile. "Thank you for playing it." She mumbled. She spoke as Kin placed the violin away back into its case. The Sensor watched as the Kage rose again and made her way back to the bath. Dai turned and watched the woman that stood over her; blushing at the fact, Kin's towel was hugging her body frame. Dai snapped out of her daze and looked at Kin when she answered her question about why Oni people drink. More over that they drank sake enhanced with their own chakra. No wonder Sakaki's sake got me drunk faster. She thought with a quiet chuckle. Dai sat still as she watched Kin slip into the water further and held a stare at her feet. As Kage, Kin must of not had anytime to mourn for those who lost their lives. Dai rested her elbow on the tile floor and rested her temple on her knuckles as she watched the Kage. Dai was worried for Kin, understood that not one bit was going to let her shed tears for her soldiers lost. An awkward silence had seemed to fall between the two females. Dai couldn't help herself now. But the thought of what she was about to do, washed a empty ache in her chest. Was this good feeling? Or a bad one? Dai moved slowly over to Kin and placed her thumn against Kin's chin; her index under her chin. She raised Kin's face slowly and gave a soft smile before inching closer. Dai's lips barely brushed against Kin's for a moment, Dai swallowed lightly before bring her lips fully against Kin's. It was a soft kiss but every once of it was deep and it felt right to do. Dai pulled away slowly and blushed. "You can be weak around me...Kinpaku." She whispered softly as she rested her forehead against Kin's. Dai moved her fingers from Kin's chin as she slowly moved away. Blushing as she sat against the wall, a little embarrassed at her actions that left her to think. I don't know her as well as she knows me... Dai looked at the water. How will she react to my kiss? xxxxKinpaku Isshinxxxx It wasn't as if the woman could really keep an eye on Dai while she was keeping her situation restrained. The woman didn't really restrain much, letting her head rise simply as Dai moved her so. Slowly she found herself looking into Dai's eyes, growing ever larger as they approached. The world was hidden away, first by the vivid eyes of the other woman... And then it was encased in darkness, as she felt something press back upon her lips. Quietly, she kissed back ever so slightly. Now, it was Dai's retreat. A statement ever so caring... So blissful. It was a temptation to break down. To not be the mighty shadow of the clouds, but then again... She couldn't. She could invest in the care and support, but then again something like that wasn't quite like pouring out her heart quite like she would her flask. Slowly across the water, she worked on her composure once more. Her own smile was back, slipping down just a bit, before raising Dai's face to look back upon her. "The shadow is a pillar of support, Dai..." Kin answered the girl, "Never must it show weakness... But another support can only make it stronger yet." The Oni would not show her weakness, but Dai... It meant the world that she had even bothered to ask. Silence reigned, as Kin refused to let the girl answer, pressing her lips once more against the jounin. "A mask for every situation..."
"And a performance for every soul."
