Bellatrix smiled, her coffee was definitely well made, and it would keep her awake for her classes. She answered his question lightly,"Wonderful." She had to keep from furrowing her brow as she tried to figure out if Tai was keeping from eating on account of her. She made a mental note to stop by his class at some point, and make sure he had eaten. Or I'll make him. she thought jokingly before speaking again. "So, tell me something...like your favorite color?"{ooc: lol, I've noticed~}

 Tai nodded at her remark, and took a drink from his cappucino before pondering the question she had given him. Favorite color... favorite color... he looked back into Bellatrix's eyes and his mouth immediately formed the words, "Emerald Green." Of course, he realized what he had said, and quickly tried to play it off. Surely some guy before him had pulled something similar to her. "Er.. y-yeah, emerald green. The gem has always fascinated me. It's chemical compound of Beryllium Aluminum Silicate is quite the combination..."Tai nodded to himself. That was a perfectly logical answer... made up on the spot, but it worked! Well, he thought it would, anyway. "So... my turn, I think..." He quickly began working on a question for her, but, in the end, used her question. "How about your favorite color?"((OOC: Tai's a character that can never die out for me. I've only used him twice, both times he's fulfilled similar roles. Teacher at a special school, pretty smart, modest, and kinda awkward in a kind of cute way. He's designed to be hard to hate. lol.))

Bellatrix smiled, as much as she would have hated to admit, Tai was really growing on her. She loved that she didn't have to worry if he was telling the truth, and what he said was meant to be geniune. She thought for a moment before answering, "Blue and Black have always been my favorite combo. So maybe a midnight blue?" She nodded, that sounded about right. "Yes, midnight blue is my favorite."{ooc: haha, he is though! How could you hate a cute geek, like really now? lol}

 Tai nodded, that was an interesting shade of blue. Tai never really did well in his Art classes (drawing vectors was not the same as drawing a figure, as he found out,) but he knew enough about art to understand where she was coming from. Many a late nights had he gone outside to look up and see the moon shine a blue color into the night... It was a wonderous sight, and he wondered if that's how she came to love the color. He'd save that question for later, and once again, the silence over took the kaidence in the air, and again, he sipped on his coffee slowly... and that's when a question popped into his head. "I know it's out of turn, but, do you do any clubs in school?"((OOC: Yeah! Geek's always get the ladies. :p Tai is the only character I ever made who wasn't meant for romance, and the first time he was used, he got into a triangle between two students... which he didn't know either of their true feelings lol))

Bellatrix sipped her coffee quietly during the small lulls in thier conversation, still grateful to the caffine for soothing her sore muscels, slightly. She nodded at his question, answering with an upbeat tone, "Yes, colorguard club. Not very active here but it does exist. I suppose it was always more popular in my hometown." She smiled, colorguard was something she had always enjoyed, and eventually wished she could teach full time instead of health, but that was still a few years away. {ooc: ha! that soundz like an interesting rp~ I've actually never done a studentXteacher...just realized that xD}

 Tai nodded, and sipped on his coffee... which was cooling at about three degrees every thirty seconds... assuming his heat index was correct for the mug, and the room around him was room temperature of about 74. That was just a small calculation he did on the side, and he was tempted to see whos drink would cool first... however, he refrained himself. It was probably better if he didn't ask Bellatrix to waste her drink simply because he wanted to observe coffee cool off. He listened to her speak a small bit about the Colorguard. Nothing too major, just a short introduction, and that it wasn't as popular as she'd like it to be. "That seems to be a common theme for the clubs around here. Not a lot of interest, honestly." He sloshed his drink around gently in the mug in some thought. "I wanted to start a Physics Club, but if the colorguard isn't doing well, then I can't imagine how few members would join for something that actually involved math. Especially when it cuts into their free time."((OOC: Well, the rules allowed for me to have a 19 year old teacher, so long as I gave a good reason... which was he was a great elementalist of water. He attracted the slutty 17 year old Junior, and the jokester 18 year old Senior... though the jokester was really tame and embarrassed around him. lol))

Bellatrix sipped her coffe slowly, savoring the flavor and temperature as she listened to Tai. As she set down her cup to speak she nodded, telling him, "Yes, it just seems that most students rather go into town when they're out of school." She couldn't blame them, it was thier highschool years and they wanted to make the most of it. And those who were interested in clubs were older upperclassmen who had extra time to spare. Maybe when summer started she could speak with the pinciple about making clubs more appealing.
She shoved off the immediate worry, insead focusing on the present. As the morning ended it would just bring classes, with students completely hyped up on the idea of vacation being around the corner. She smiled, voicing her thoughts aloud, "It's a wonder they focus at all this time of year. But I shouldn't complain, I wasn't the best student either."{ooc: haha! I enjoy stiff like that because usually an rp goes perfectly >_< I like surprises XD}

 Tai finished his drink, and placed the empty mug in front of him. "Well, with an island town like this, I'd find it hard to keep myself inside, too."Sitting back, he allowed himself to become less tense. There really wasn't a reason to be tense like he was thinking there would be when he was cleaning off. Bellatrix seemed simply too kind to point out petty flaws, or hold a grudge... maybe keep it for a funny story, but that was it. Which reminded him the reason he was able to convince her to meet him for a date... friendly! Just a friendly outing to help him get aquainted with the place. They both had failed flight stories to share (well, what adult didn't?) He really wanted to know if his compared to hers in stupidity. However, she spoke first. He caught standard teacher rabble, but there was that last part. "Not the best student, huh?" He smirked with a mischevious glint in his eye. "Do tell, Bellatrix. Why were you a bad student?"((OOC: That roleplay was probably the greatest I ever played in. Had 3 of my most memorable characters, and the recreated version had one of the best comedy relief's I've ever seen in a roleplay. Shinn, the pervert. He was the ultimate comedy relief for what would have been a really dramatic roleplay.))

Bellatrix smiled and shook her head lightly, she wasn't overly fond at her old study habits but she didn't see a reason to lie. She was enjoying her conversation with Tai enough that the truth was perfectly acceptable. "Hm, it seems that just about everything was a bad habit...talking, tardiness, the occasional ditch." She glanced at her coffee before sipping it once more, then continuing lightly, "I would usually do my homework last minute too." She leaned on her hand, finishing her thought lightly. "I suppose I was always too jumpy. Shakespear never seemed to have anything on the outside, at least when I forced to read him."{ooc: that rp soundz hilarious, seriously if you found it i would totally read it ^^ }

 Tai laughed. "To think you were a problem student. Can't imagine how you'd handle your own kid skipping." Tai smiled, and recalled parts of his school life. "Well, I can't say I was a perfect student. I generally outsmarted the teachers by the end of the first semester, and always had answers to problems everyone else deemed impossible." He put his hand to his chin, thinking a bit, "I think I was the only smart kid the teachers hated. Especially science teachers... I bet you can only imagine how lab days went when we were given the dangerous chemicals."Tai nodded, "I never liked Shakespeare, honestly. I hated English classes with a little bit more than a passion. It was the one class I had to put forth a little bit of effort into." He nodded at Bellatrix, "Oh yes, even I, the child prodigy who built an engine when he was seven, had severe issues with literature."((OOC: Hang on, I think I remember the guild I was in, and if he hasn't cleaned out the dead RP's yet, it should still be there...))

Bellatrix couldn't help but shake her head just slightly. It was nice to hear she wasn't the only one who found things like Hamelt boring or even predictable, although it didn't excuse her ditching, and she wouldn't let it excuse her children. With a smile, she was able to recall her parents pep talks about her grades and struggles with english. She retold one section, finding that it applied well with Tai. "I was always told that a genius would have trouble passing an english class." Her parents told her such so she felt better, of course it was a silly myth but it seemed to apply appropiately now. She went on with speaking, pushing aside her many memories as she focused on Tai's words. "Seven? Well, I think you're allowed a few bad subjects here and there if you can accomplish something so young."{ooc: 8] hope ya find it ^^}

 Tai could agree to that statement. "It's hard to find a hidden meaning when the subject of the material is completely off of said hidden meaning. At least in math the hidden meaning is within an equation, or misinterpreted law." Tai stretched out a bit, looking at his watch, finding they had a bit longer before both probably needed to be back in school to do something or another. Whether it be police the hallways, or be a lecturer. "Oh, and the engine wasn't like a car engine or anything." He quickly added after hearing her compliment. "It was a really small electric motor that could power me and my bike at fifteen miles an hour for... oh say, ten minutes before it over heated. I hadn't learned that putting too much amps through a toy without an sort of coolant was a good way to melt the motor." He reached into his pocket and pulled out his phone, and pulled up a picture of the bike. "My parents took the original picture of when I first finished it. They thought it was cute, and wouldn't work. They were terrified when I went around the neighborhood with it running... this picture is a modified version with better parts I bought... though, I am no mechanic, so don't ask me to fix your car." He smiled at his little last minute addition. ((OOC: Found the first one! Hinamori School for the Gifted. This one has Riku, Ken, and Tai. Riku was introduced first on page 5 towards the bottom, followed by Ken, then Tai towards the middle if I remember right. Aurelia was Riku's love interest, Ken had the Queen, and Tai... he was a mess. xD Ken had black hair with a white streak, Tai had glasses and white hair. It's hard to miss em, trust me.)

Bellatrix nodded, that was still a very large task for someone who's age was less than two digits. To her, the bike did look adorable, and she could understand why his parents would have thought nothing of it but it being a fun project. She laughed lightly at the idea of him being a mechanic, something she couldn't imagine so well. "Don't worry, I'll remember that if I ever do get a car." As she noticed him check his watch it occured to her that it was getting late in the morning, and they would have to get to thier tasks soon enough. She smiled, sitting up as she spoke with an upbeat tone, "I really enjoyed the coffee, and talking with you. But obviously we've got our jobs to fulfill." She reached for her bag before continuing, a little more seriously, "However before we leave can you promise me you'll eat something?"{ooc: yay~ >:] this looks fun~ hehe.]

 Tai's eyes widened a bit and about asked why she didn't have a car... then realized just how small the island was, and that really, cars weren't as necessary as they was back in the states. This area had much better public transportation systems than some of the large cities did. "Right, right... I've already forgotten I'm living on a small island." He chuckled. Getting up with her, he pulled out a seven dollars and laid them on the counter for the waitress to pick up later. However much was left over, she could keep as the tip. "As did I, Bellatrix. As for that promise..." Tai seriously thought about it. It'd should be an easy promise to keep... however, Tai had issues with getting up when meal time came around. Especially when he was in mid formula, or experiment. "I'll do my best to catch the lunch bell, or at least, one of them. But, I'll probably end up being so into a formula, I'll probably forget..." He smiled sheepishly, rubbing the back of his head. ((OOC: The character page was deleted, unfortunately. However, I think you'll be able to infer what is written on the characters, and their past. If you need clarification, I remember their histories really well. Especially Ken's. And make sure to read Nayoa's stuff. He's a driving force behind a lot of things... he's also a really interesting character.))
