Rolled 33 Roll 3- If you roll a 51-100, you pass and can go on to round four. (RP meeting the below obstacle) You hear a deep rumbling growl of something near you. It sounds as if the noise is in the pathway next to you... but after pausing and holding your breath, you can somehow tell the creature has sensed you and is looking for a way to get over to you. A flash of white and red through the foliage of the maze tells you its something large... and mean. ( If you roll a 51-100, you pass the creature after hauling some tush away. If you roll a 1-50... The creature gets around the maze somehow and chases you out. ) For a while of walking, Deacon didn't have much of a worry... Until he heard the all-too-near growl. Freezing in place a moment, he had just begun to contemplate bolting away from the hound as it suddenly appeared around a shrubbery in front of him. Apparently, it found a way through this time. Not wasting any time, Deacon hauled his a** out of there to avoid becoming dog food.

Riley showed up to class today. She was more determined than ever to try and pass this challenge. There was the imp, and this time she stopped to pluck the thorn out. There was nothing further to discuss with it at this time. he could feel it's forlorn eyes watching her stride past, but she did not look back. As loyal as an imp might have been for a minion, she had bigger fish to fry.

She stopped at the large boulder, knowing exactly what it wanted this time. At least it was comforting to know it would respond to her thoughts, despite being.. a boulder. Nevertheless, a thrill went through her at what lay beyond it. Would that giant monster still be waiting for her? Would it have any idea of what was in store?

Apparently the monster did have a vague idea of what Riley had in store for it. She'd attempted to become the hunter, instead of the hunted, and had only succeeded in tying herself to the back of the large beast and being dragged out of the maze forcefully.
Time to go back to her dorm and start from scratch. Speaking of scratches.. did she just lose a tentacle back there?

"...and then, would you believe it? My wife knew him from high school! He gave us a huge discount!"
"Issnt tha'somethin'." West took a deep breath and sighed it out, hoping that this imp would take the hint. Upon entering the maze, West had found himself shin-to-face with neither the splinter imp nor the crazy imp. No, this was apparently the stupid story telling imp.
"Welp, looks likeai gotta get goin'now." he continued before the imp could get a word in edgewise. "Tell Lou-Jean and lil' Hannah if they're'ever outside th'maze t'come'in visit..." He let his voice trail off as he walked away. Damn, these imps were annoying.

"...an'then th'guy's wife knew'im from school or somethin', right, an'they gotta discount."
The boulder monster had started off skeptical. A story about used cars? But now that he had heard it, he was sure West's tale was an epic masterpiece. His rocky lungs couldn't handle any more laughter. He moved to the side to let the demon past.
West only hoped the creatures in this maze never spoke to one another.

"HORSE!" West yelled. Hey, it had worked on the imps.
Sadly, instead of his alert encouraging the creature to leave before West could get there, it had caused the ghost to show up early. The horse shook its skullhead and drew a billowing piece of fabric across the place where its neck would be if it had had one. Death. Get out now, sonny.
West squared his shoulders, fully intending to face the horse ghost head-to-head. His stomach growled. He suddenly recalled that the cafeteria menu had said something about scalloped pathling.
Bah. It wasn't worth it anyway.

Lucien went to class but when he got to the entrance of the maze, he stared. And stared. Floating backwards, he took a nap. He didn't hear the buzz of students going in and out of the maze, or the little imp that so cunningly called for help. He dreamt of better days when he could fly over a maze and go straight to the center and avoid all this mayhem.

Now that Gabrian knew what the reward at the end of the maze was... well, he couldn't help but brave it again, really. The actual maze scared him, but the prize for reaching the end was simply too good for him to pass up.
That in mind, the nix pushed his way into the horrible place once more, a sigh slipping through his lips.

Quote: Roll 1- If you roll a 11-100, you pass and can go on to round two. (RP meeting the below obstacle) Upon entering the maze you meet a tiny little imp, seemingly injured and whining at you for help. The imp is green in color and maybe only 2 feet tall. It is thin and looks as if they have a splinter in their foot. (If you roll a 11-100 you can do whatever you like, help or not, and you still pass. If you roll a 1-10... well helping it or not it will turn on you and chase you out of the maze.) Makes it past the imp.

Quote: Roll 2- If you roll a 26-100, you pass and can go on to round three. (RP meeting the below obstacle) Awwh you made it past the little imp with no troubles! You should feel high on life (even if your hearing weird noises all around you that sound like things that want to eat you.) Walking further along something blocks your pathway. It is large and...reminds you oddly of some huge stoney bolder. Only this one moves. It tells you that in order to get past you need to tell it a story or a riddle.. and if it approves it will let you pass. ( if you roll a 26-100 it will like your story and let you pass. If you roll a 1-25 though... well it will not like your story and your stuck in the first part of the maze, only to be chased out by something else. ) Boulder is utterly unimpressed this time!

The main protagonist LUCIEN the Sylph enters while floating. He slowly turns his head to the left and holds. After a pause, he turns his head to the right and then back forward in a quick motion.
There is a maze in front of LUCIEN.
LUCIEN enters the maze.
It is quiet... very quiet. There is a sudden noise.
LUCIEN stops and looks around.
There appears to be a small imp on the ground expressing dire need for help.
LUCIEN portrays an empty expression and continues walking.

His expression lost and his body moving recklessly back and forth.
There is a stone boulder up ahead. It seems to be talking.
LUCIEN does not see it, or hear it, and slowly bumps right into it.
LUCIEN holds a shocked expression and it lingers on his face until he walks away from the boulder and back the way he came.
The scene ends with LUCIEN helping the imp from earlier and disappearing out of the maze.

Piteous moaning greeted West as he stepped into the maze.
"D'you guys take turns?" he asked upon encountering the unfortunate imp.
The creature held up its foot and sobbed.
"Fine. Jus'this once," West said, bending over to help remove the imp's splinter.
