As we lay there and my fingers idly played with Clou's hair I let my mind slip back to when we first met and about how jumpy and unsure he was. I laughed a little before continueing to listen to the music before the silence was interupted by someone at the door.
"Go away."
"Come back later"
"Agh, computer engage security lock and activate privacy"
From outside the door: "Computer deactivate security and privacy, authorisation code Jack Blazer 1102389"
My father a wolf practically identical to me save for age and hair colour, his being blond, strode into the room.
"Skye we need to talk."

 Clou AdweissThe bleeping had stirred in from his heavy sleep like state, but he lay still, sprawled over other male contently, close to snoozing. And it was the doors opening that had him jump up with a start, he was still getting used to seeing anthro's other than team Alpha, even though they looked so alike, it put the boy on edge, only thanks to his experience with them. He sat up, visibly tense, but not leaving the General, he felt afraid to on this spaceship.

I didnt move even after my father had come into the room and stood in front of the sofa. I merely turned my head to look in his general direction as I put my paws around Clou's waist. Jack: "Skye we need to talk." "Well actually no we dont, because you assigned me to leave so I'm taking my leave and if you don't mind I was enjoying the peace and quiet in private." Jack: "I'm not here as your boss, I'm here as your dad." "even better then, respect my privacy and be so kind as to get out, I'll come see you when I'm ready."

Clou AdweissPulling his shirt on a little rigidly, with nerves, his gaze flitted anxiously between the two men, unsure of what he was supposed to do. "S..I mean General..should .. mnn..I leave?" He hurried out in a hushed voice. He didn't want to, he felt safe in Skye's arms alone. It was his place to hide, after everything had happened, for him to relax, and the man's motions of coaxing would calm him. But not now, not with a complete stranger in the room, the voice visibly trembled, as he tugged lightly on Skye's shirt, to get him to answer.

My dad looked down at Clou and then he looked back towards me. "Yes perhaps it would be best if you did go." At that I placed both my paws firmly on Clou's hips. "No Clou you just stay right here, see what my dear daddy here is forgetting is, I'm not his pet or little playtoy right now because our ranks mean nothing whilst I'm on leave. In addition to that I'm a big boy now and dont need neither his concent or permission to do anything" My dad just looked at me and growled fiercely which made me put Clou to one side and stand up quickly and squared off up against him. "Go ahead...make a move." I taunted. My dad backed down and headed for the door again, "This boy is a mistake Skye." "I'll be the judge of that sir and so far it's been one of the best decisions of my life." I put my arm around Clou's shoulders as my dad left and told the computer to lock the door once again

Clou AdweissA little intimidated, by the stern look he'd been given from Skye's father, Clou wanted to shrink back, and get out of sight now, but after the comments from Skye, and hands grasped onto his hip, he couldn't budge, as he tested the slight hold, only to be reminded of the wolf's iron grip. When moved to one side as the man stood up, the older male's growl caused him to blanch back, behind Skye a little, it had been truly terrifying, and had rumble through his own body, as the other wolf looked thoroughly disgusted with him. Clou's hands lifted, clasping onto Sky's shirt. He was on a strange spaceship, surrounded by unfamiliar faces, all he had was the Alpha team and his General now, and he'd just come out of the hospital ward, it was safe to say that he felt a little unstable. And with the man's leaving words, he felt a gut wrenching feeling. The blonde didn't even here what the General's response was, that phrase just echoed in his head like a bad taste. '..This boy is a mistake Skye... a mistake... mistake..'The arm round his shoulders brought him back to reality, where he gently tugged on the wolf's long hair, pulling him down, and pressing a soft kiss to his lips. Not knowing what to say right now.

I allowed Clou to kiss me and pulled him up into my arms before my ears pricked at more voices coming from outside. "I swear Jack Blazer, sometimes you can be utterly impossible, yeah just you walk away and take your attitude with you."
"who is it now?"
From the other side of the door: "Skye it's mom, can I come in?"
I looked up and Clou and kissed his neck softly.
"Yeah come on in."
The door slid open and another white wolf, the same size as Skye's Father and in all essence the same spare the pink highlights in his fur and slightly more flamboyant attitude. The wolf walked over to the pair and embraced them both before looking back at the pair.
"Oh Skye he's precious."
"Uhm, Clou this is my maternal mother, Rufus, mom this is Clou."
Rufus: "Well aren't you just gorgeous?"

Clou AdweissSighing contently as he was pulled closer, strong arms round him, he jumped a little hearing the argument outside. Even more so when his 'mother' entered. The flamboyant wolf was just... confusing. Wide emerald eyes blinked up at him and let out a small squeak as they were hugged, hand returning to grip Skye's shirt. "Ah, h-hello.." He said in a small voice, before what Skye had said sunk in, and he looked between them in bewilderment. "M..maternal m-mother..I.. I don't understand.." His cheeks heated up too at the compliment, blush spreading.

I blushed a little myself and nuzzled Clou softly. "Yeah." Rufus: "Ignore him sweety, it's all boring biology stuff and it doesnt make for good conversation now, let's sit and have a chat it's been nearly 6 years since you last took leave nevermind got any." Rufus sat down and I sat down beside him with Clou in my lap to which Rufus put his arms out to him and shooed me away to go get drinks. Rufus: "My goodness you're so light, and so blond, maybe I should go blond for a change?" Rufus smiled rubbing Clou's cheek softly with his thumb

Clou AdweissAt the nuzzle he relaxed a little, so many new faces, it was hard to know which ones he could be less formal around Skye with, clearly not his father but his... 'mother' seemed okay, well more than that, more like pleased. Sat nestled on Skye's lap, he was pulled from it, with a startled squeak sound leaving him, he blushed again. "Ah, thank you.. um..sorry I'm a little n-nervous..and..yeah.." He mumbled out as Rufus ran a thumb down his cheek, he seemed a little wary of it, not because of who the wolf was, but just because of recent physical contact with others, or more specifically what had happened in the Vertex base. "You.. You're very friendly, ah, I'm glad, other than the team, I don't know Skye's background well.." He gave Rufus a soft smile hoping that they'd get on. ((OOC:: Is he on Rufus' lap? I'm assuming so ^^ ))

Rufus smiled broadly at Clou and nuzzled him softly. "Oh Skye he's so cute, can I keep him please?" "No mum he's mine, get your own if you want one, but paws off my Clou." I called from the kitchen Rufus: "Aww Skye you're such a spoil sport." He looked down at Clou and smiled some more, "Well that all rather depends on what you want to know sweety, I mean I'm sure you already know he's well....much, much older than you I'll bet, he's a general, although not a very good one he keeps getting into trouble from his father, although that said although Jack would never admit it, Skye's the best general he's ever had." Rufus chuckled lightly.

Clou AdweissBlushing a deeper shade of pink as he was pulled close, by his .. well his partner's 'mother'; Clou gave a small squirm, before settling still, his hands gently resting on Rufus' shoulders. The wolf felt similar, but not quite the same, as Skye. "Ah, yes.. I owe him my life twice now.." A small smile made its way as he looked back to where the entrance to the kitchen was, a content look in his eyes. And he let out a small laugh at the thought of Skye stirring up trouble, as expected. "umm.. I heard one of the doctors mention a native..am.. Am I not meant to be h-here?" Unknown to these two, Jack's words were still lingering in his thoughts.

Rufus opened his mouth to speak but as he did I had already come through from the kitchen with a tea tray. "Yes, you are, where ever I go, you're coming with." Rufus giggled a little: "They said native because you come from the planet below, that's all sweety." I put down the tea tray on the table and sat down next to my mum and Clou before mum put Clou carefully back into my lap and leaned forwards to make himself a cup of tea. "Nice isn't he?"

Clou AdweissHead turning to hear Skye's rather definite answer, a small smile lingering on his lips and when the general wolf returned, he gladly reached out now sat on the man's lap. It was still recent after the abduction, and he felt safer when in reach and sight of Skye. He nodded at Skye's words, "Yes.. Your m..mother, is friendly.." Assuming thats what he meant, it made Clou think back to his own parents, or rather the fact that he didn't know them.

I held Clou comfortably in my arms and listened to my mother talk and watched Clou from time to time as he slowly fell asleep, I petted his head softly and once Clou was completely asleep I let my mum out of the room before carrying Clou to bed and put him under my bedcovers before stripping off myself and getting in under the covers with him and pulled him into my arms and nuzzled him softly.
