Ghoulmon is unable to react to Zip, Shadramon, and Zar's escape, because of Zip's crazy speed. He tries to rush Zip as he picks up Shadramon, but they've moved before Ghoulmon can get close, and already retreating at high speed.
"No! Get back here!"
He doesn't try to pursue them, because he knows it is fruitless.
Ghoulmon slowly descends to the ground and exhales a breath.
"I failed, but at least Alex is alright."
Ghoulmon, first allows Kiryu to climb off of him while also giving him a brief scowl, and retreats back inside the broken gateway to check on his tamer and Terriermon.
Boltmon runs up to him.
"A kid came in, and put something into the vents. I think it's the antidote."
Ghoulmon, never an optimist, cannot resist adding in "Or poison."
Boltmon is temporarily daunted by Ghoulmon's lack of faith, but continues anyway.
"No, look. Their breathing is less ragged. I think they're recovering."
Ghoulmon decides to take Boltmon's word for it, and yawns.
"Well, there's no need for me here anymore."
He looks down and indicates Terriermon, who seems to be recovering faster than Alex.
"Or him either. I leave Alex's care to you Boltmon."
Ghoulmon gingerly picks up Terriermon, and they are both transported back into the digivice as swirls of data break them up.
Boltmon plops down on the ground next to Alex, and takes the time to think.
"I wonder where that guy took Kazu?"

Chronamon was dissapointed he couldn't save Kazu and has the alarm went off Chronamon returned to the Digivice, '' Da** it I can't make it then I gotta send this guy to do it. ''. Lance with his last bit of energy pressed a button revealing a Digimon which started moving on its own to the Ocean.

An announcement went over the base's intercom about the new memory. It seemed the water memory was next, located at the east data ocean.

Christian seeing the Alarm go off, ran for the nearest exit. His blue and greenish armor bounced loosely as he jolted off to East Data Ocean. As he did ChaosWarGreymon beamed after him, and as did SaberLeomon. They caught up to him and both spoke in complete harmony, "The Water Memory!"

Alex hears the announcement, and is quickly knocked out of his deep sleep. The impetuous boy rubs his eyes like he had been merely sleeping and jumps out of the chair.
He looks to his right and sees Boltmon.
"We gotta go!"
Boltmon is surprised by Alex's sudden exclamation.
"Wait- Alex- You!?"
Alex has already run out of the base.
"Does he even know where he is?"
Boltmon gets up and sprints out of the entrance after Alex, bewildered by the boy's enthusiasm, and intending to explain what happened while they travel.

"I'll take it," a Gallantmon said as he took the message. He looked at the envelope wondering what it said. He took his right hand, and began to rip it open. "Whats this!"

A picture appeared and it began to speak.
"Hello knights and Spirits I am Zar and as you know I have your friend kazu here in the other room. He will be fine for now the gash is sealed and I gave him a bit of this." Zar holds up the vial that still had 3/4 of it left. "Now I want a memory for the boy. 1 will get you him. 2 will get you him and the rest of this vial. This is anti poison exactly 1 dose worth so unless you have some anti poison left you might want to bring 2 memories or else he will probally die. Now I don't care whos memories I get. It could be 1 knight and 1 spirit or 2 spirits or 2 knights ect I don't care. If you want to trade meet me at toy & tama town in 3 hours. No fighting will be done if you comply. If I see you bring no memories the anti poison will be smashed and Kazu will be killed. See you soon."
The message proceded to loop so no one missed what it said.

Gallantmon automatically sent it to Christian which replied with a message stating the he was tied down with a new memory. But he could send Guilmon to get Kazu. "Fine Christian I'll transfer the two memories to you," Gallantmon said as he wired the memories to him like money.

Mermaimon looks p at the sound of Zar.
"He's the b*****d who took Kazu!" she yelled listening to the message.
After she heard the terms of the trade she drooped. The Knights wouldn't just hand over two memories... Wait! They didn't need to! Chris still had some of the antidote left from before! Only one memory needed to be used... Then again... If all the Knights ganged up on him... They might stand a chance of saving Kazu...
Mermaimon went over to Lance and poured water over his head.
"Wake up! Kazu needs you! Please... Anyone.

Lance awakens to see his ??? safely made it to the ocean, '' Kazu! '' Lance screams in anger. Lance starts to move with pain, but with the will to save his friend, '' Rosemon Materialize. '' Lance starts to gush blood, but Rosemon appers and picks up Lance.
'' You are in no condition to walk, i'll carry you. ''. Rosemon picks Lance up and starts flying out of the base.
