Twillah smiled and watched him, her bright eyes curious. "Is that how you feel now, Gage?" she asked in her soft voice. When she said his name, her voice became sweet, as well as her expression.

Twillah's eyes gleamed in the sunlight, listening as he sang to her. "You are very good, Gage.. And That is a wonderful song." she said, her tone sweet and smooth, like water flowing across rocks in the riverbed, her eyes turning a tinge of purple.

"Yea right. I suck at singing, but I do agree that it's a pretty song," Gage chuckled as he carefully placed the food into a little dish and placed it inside the basket. "Picnic date is a go."

Twillah smile softly at him, skipped over, at took her arm in his. "Oh, don't put yourself down. I quite enjoy your beautiful voice.." she said, her tone sweet and caring, like it was any other time. It was hard to believe one girl could be so sweet and kind, but have a darkside as well. In her mind, Twillag was picturing their date in her mind, the warm summer breeze blowing through her hair..

"I always tell myself I'm not that good at much except flirtatiously stealing peoples souls and cooking. It makes me feel like the Average Joe and not so superior to others," Gage chuckled beginning to walk outside of the house with her on one arm and the picnic basket in the other hand as his tail flicked lightly behind the two.

Twillah smiled lightly, looking up at him. "I have a question.. It is a bit odd.." she said, pausing for a moment. "Does your tail reflect your emotions?" she asked, her tone curious as her blue eyes watched his expression.

"I would think so, but sometimes it just goes on a tangent of doing whatever it pleases," Gage replied with a serious gaze only to force his tail away from her leg. "Again, it gets a mind of its own."

Twillah nodded, looking ahead. "How about there?" she asked, pointing to a spot near the lake, and beside a large, beautiful oak tree. She smiled softly, pulling him towards it.

"It's perfect," Gage replied softly as he followed her to the oak tree near the lake only to lay a blanket on the grass and sit down on it while placing the basket down nearby. "Truth be told, I've only seen picnics from long distances."

Twillah giggled lightly, sitting down next to him. "I thought you were going to say truth or dare." she said in er sweet voice. "Me too." she said, shrugging slightly as she felt the soft breeze come through her hair.
