Listening quietly, Shayera makes her way over to Tanzu’s unconscious form. She lifts his head very gently and moves so his head can rest gently in her lap. Her eyes fill with tears, which drip onto Tanzu from the end of her nose.
“Tanzu. My brother. My friend.” She whispers so low that she believes no one can hear her. She clears her throat and addresses Kai. “Kaizen-san, I thank you deeply for protecting everyone here. Especially Kanzuki. Tanzu is… an emotional being. He isn’t completely in control of the Hachibi yet.” Her voice is soft with tears. Chakra Points:

Kaizen's eyes widened at David's response, then quickly narrowed once more as his jaw tightened and his hands balled into fists. "I care nothing for your assurance of protection had things escalated! The fact remains that you purposefully provoked this boy, your comrade in arms no less, and put our lives in danger just so you could test him!", Kaizen raged at David, his anger welling up from deep within him. The thought of this child toying with people for no better reason than to amuse himself was sickening.
Kaizen stood there for a moment which seemed like an eternity as he tried to regain his composure. Kai cared little that his own life had been put in danger, he did not fear for himself, but the fact that this manipulative whelp had put the lives of Yama and Kanzo in danger, that he could not stand. Kai closed his eyes and took a deep breath to regain some measure of calm before his stark white eyes opened to stare into David's own. "You cross a line Sand-nin... and I can assure you that it would be a lot healthier to take a step back...", Kaizen said, his voice as cold as the eyes which bore into David's own."I live to fulfill the dreams of those that came before me"

| Konaga Clan | Speed/Offensive Type | Iwagakure | Genin | On his way back tot eh caves, Shinji suddenly thought about what he was about to attempt to accomplish. "Doton jutsu, underground caverns... Doton Jutsu which is meant to violently shake the ground, in narrow underground caverns... yeah, let's do this somewhere else."turning around, Shinji noted many signs leading to genin housing areas, all of which he recalled were restrcited to all those except the ninja from their respectively villages. Not really having many other places to train, Shinji figured he would visit the waterfall for a nice water view during his training.
Flipping his scroll as he walked, he came upon the scene just towards the end of whatever had happened was taking place, watching one person the Genin he remembered speaking two putting his swords away with another lying unconscious on the ground. From a distance, Shinji couldn't hear what they then began to discuss, but as he got closer, an amused smile came over his face as he got closer, somewhat curious as to what was going on. "Hey, hey now... I thought I read something in the rules about no fighting outside of the Village Housing areas. What's going on here? Hopefully I didn't miss out on any fun. Must have been a hell of a time for that kid to be passed out."
Shinji's manner was casual in every way possible as he wore an amused smile on his face, hiding the incredible pain he housed within his body. Noting the argument taking place, shinji hoped that perhaps his presence would help to calm the situation slightly, or at the very least amuse him. Feel a twitch of pain come over his brow, Shinji quickly tilted his head to his side as he looked down at the boy who had been injured, noting that he was harmed beyond just being knocked out... "... or maybe worse then passed out."

Shayera listens to Kaizen rage at David; slightly shocked that the happy-go-lucky Genin she had met earlier at the exams had lapsed into a rage. She strokes Tanzu’s hair idly, humming a gentle lullaby. She’s unsure of how to help Tanzu, since she knows no medical jutsu, so she sits there, wanting to keep him comfortable until Sora can arrive and take over. At the sound of a newcomer’s voice, her head comes up and she stares, waiting to speak until someone addresses her. She tilts her head to the side at the sight of him, wondering if he’s related to Kaizen. Chakra Points:

He really did understand where he was coming from, but it didn't truly register in his twisted mind. To him, humans were only worth the time if they were amusing or useful. He knew others didn't see it that way, but it was a philosophy he couldn't hide completely. Finally turning away, David looked back towards the trees the other girl had slipped into. What had happened to her? "Oi! Your boyfriend is about to die!" He shouted, trying to get her moving. She was a medic as he had heard, and thus needed for the survival of this boy. Kaizen continued to glare at the boy for a moment before saying, "You truly are a sad little twist. I'll be sure and look for you during the next stage, then we'll see just how much you care..." Kai let the threat hang in the air for a moment before turning away from David to look down at Tanzu. A pang of guilt flashed across his face as he looked down at the bloody mess that was Tanzu, he hadn't wanted to hurt the boy, but he had been given few options.
With a sigh Kai then turned to the new arrival, the boy he had met during the written test, Shinji was it? Doing his best to relax a bit, Kai shot a half-hearted smile at Shinji as he said in the best mockery of joy he could muster, "Hello there, fancy you showing up. I'm afraid you missed all the... fun, as you put it.""I live to fulfill the dreams of those that came before me"

Shayera raises an eyebrow as both Kaizen and the newcomer refer to what had happened as “fun”. Oh yes, it’s great fun to hold a dying comrade in your arms and know that there is nothing you can do to help him while your skin is blistering from chakra burns. Great fun. Shayera resists the urge to roll her eyes at her own thought, but clears her throat quietly.
“Kai-san, who is your friend?” She asks, still looking into Tanzu’s face. He looks remarkably like Kai, so she expects him to introduce the newcomer as his brother or cousin or something of the sort. Chakra Points:

Shinji said almost hardheartedly as he sighed at the lack of action. there was of course someone potentially dying nearby, but given that he knew nothing of what was going on, nor who any of them were besides that he had seen them all at the test, he couldn't find himself to be overly concerned with the boy's wounds. "Fancy indeed however, but too late it would seem. though, you still might want to get someone to him quickly. I'm no medic, but it doesn't look like that's something that can be cured by hair stroking and humming a lullaby."
Shinji's smiled grew at his own bemusement of his words, thinking himself to be quite clever with what he said before taking the time to look around. He had caught what Kaizen had said to David, but was still having trouble placing the context, or why Kaizen was so angry. Perhaps the one on the ground was his friend or comrade. either way however, it would be interesting to see if the threat hanging in the air grew to any kind of fruition in the remaining tests. 'Oh well." Shinji said relaxing his posture as he stuck his hand in his pocket, standing casually as he continued to speak. "I suppose I'll have to have my fun elsewhere. Someone should probably go get some medical help or something, but I figure you guys have the scene covered. "
Looking over as the girl spoke, he smiled and waited for kai o respond, wondering how he would address such a question as Shinji stood looking at the pool of water created by the waterfall as he stared into it for a while, deciding to enjoy the scenic water falling to relax himself as he was able to temporarily lose himself in the sounds and smells of the water, which helped him to offset the pain, if only for a little and only for the briefest of seconds.

“Well, since I’m not a medic, I don’t want to do anything that could harm him further.” Shayera replies to the boy coldly. She moves Tanzu so his head can rest on her towel, which is quickly wet with blood. “He’s right though. We… I need to get help.” She stands, pulling on her shorts and shirt. “David, have you seen the Lady Kazekage? She’s a medic and she can probably help…” Chakra Points:

Kaizen waved after him, albeit half-heartedly, before turning to Tanzu and Shayera. Looking at Shayera, Kai said in a hollow voice, "Just someone I met during the first stage... he's right though, we need to get your friend to the hospital..." Kneeling down, Kai looked into Shayera's eyes and said calmly, "would you allow me to carry him there? I feel that I owe him at least that much.""I live to fulfill the dreams of those that came before me"

| Konaga Clan | Speed/Offensive Type | Iwagakure | Genin | "Hmmph, I suppose it's a good thing I stuck around if that was gonna be your plan." Shinji said as he halted himself from leaving and dragged himself back into the situation. "It doesn't take a medic to know this, but when someone is as injured as he seems to be, moving him, and especially picking him up to be brought to a place where he can be healed would only worsen his condition. You need to keep him as still as possible until someone with the proper equipment can take him away safely, or someone can come and heal him." Looking around, Shinji didn't know anything about these people, but if like the girl said, the Kazekage was a medic, he was sure it would be a good idea to get the word out as quickly as possible.
"The Kages should be at the summit, but if they're all up there, there is no way we'll be able to reach them. All we could really hope to do would be to get their attention somehow." Despite his unattached nature to the injured party, Shinji still felt himself butting in to help, if for nothing else then it gave him something to do. It wasn't like he was trying to be cruel, or good, but at the moment, he was merely offering possible solutions to a problem, which he liked to do.

Shayera begins to panic, her breathing and heart rate accelerating until she’s about to start hyperventilating.
“What do I do?” She wonders almost pathetically. “The Lady Kazekage is the only experienced medic that I know, and she’ll be at the top of a mountain, if this boy isn’t mistaken.” She gestures absently to Shinji. She begins to pace, speculating. She can’t send a wind clone. She can’t use any Kageton. Her eyes begin to cloud over with panic. Chakra Points:

Kaizen looked up at Shinji, an embarrassed half-smile on his face as he said, "hadn't thought of that, but hey, I think I know how to get there attention, just stay there for a second." Rising to his feet, Kai turned toward the out-cropping of rock he had been standing on earlier and with a few quick jumps and a bit of chakra, Kai was once more standing several feet above the rest of the group.
Looking up towards the large mountain Kai took a deep breath as he lifted his hands up to his chest, then closing his eyes, Kai made several hand-seals in rapid succession before opening his now crimson red eyes and crying out, "Ryouka no jutsu!" Then taking yet another deep breath, Kai let his chakra mix with the air before expelling it in a great jet which turned to flame as it passed through his mouth. As the jet of flame rose higher into the air it took the form of a great gaping maw, rising higher and higher on its way to the top of the Kage summit.
With that Kai hopped back down, turning his crimson gaze on Shinji, Kai said calmly, "So I guess now we wait." As he spoke Kai's eyes changed from the crimson red back to their usual stark white, the crimson color receding into the center of his eyes until it was completely gone."I live to fulfill the dreams of those that came before me"

Shayera nods once, beginning to work as soon as David utters his command at her. She removes the towel form under Tanzu’s head and uses a kunai to tear it into long, thin strips. Praying that the Lady Kazekage had seen the flames, she wraps Tanzu’s wounds tightly with the still-clean parts of the shredded towel, just to stop the bleeding. She looks at her hands when she’s finished and grimaces at the sight of the burns on her hands, traveling up her arms to her shoulders, down her torso to snake around her legs in raw, purplish red splotches. The movement of her face results in pain and she realizes, once she raises her hand to touch her cheek, that her face has been burned as well. Chakra Points:
