Haurka winced, and sighed, "An umbrella would be nice though..." he complained, smiling slightly. Darkness? he thought, he didn't understand how one could enjoy it. You couldn't see if anything was coming at you. It scared him. He blinked, why am i scared? Takerus here with me.... he paused, feeling safe around someone you met this morning... his eyes widened as he remembered all the horror stories his father had taken such joy in telling him when he was younger, and his heart started to race. Ah! just stop thinking about it! he told himself, trying to calm down.

Takeru shrugged as he kept his arm around Haruka. "Well its a bit late now for an umbrella dont you think?" Takeru did look up at the sky for a bit as the rain helped push his hair back behind his head and away from his face. "It wont be that horrible."

Haruka blushed as he noticed he was staring, and quickly looked away, "G-good point..." he stuttered, and found himself staring as the raindrops ran down Takerus face, his cheeks, nose, lips... Harukas eyes twitched, and his blush turned crimson, shaking his head, he stared at the houses they walked by them. Horrible? he thought, hardly, just .... torturous....

Takeru let out another yawn as he gently leaned down on Haruka. "Today was so tiring...I never really did so much in one day during school hours. I usually just nap and stuff." Takeru was whining a bit, which didnt really seem like him at all.

Haruka tipped his head back to look up at Takerus face, "Is that a complaint?" he asked, raising an eyebrow as he smiled up at him, "I thought you'd like having something to do better then sleeping." he chuckled, "i could always leave you alone tomorrow." he teased, he was the one always trying to run.

Takeru just sighed as he looked down at Haruka. "Yeah it is..." He did look away from as he heard about being left alone. "Well how about you just take a nap with me during school instead?" It was really something Takeru wouldnt offer anyone but Haruka. Also he wanted to spend more time with him anyway.

Haruka paused, a nap? he pondered, well, I'd sleep through gym, but he likes that class! He was so happy that Takeru would ask him something like that, but remembered his father.
"I can't..." he said, bowing his head, his hair covering his eyes, "Sorry..." He was already bruised from head to toe, and didn't want to anger his father anymore then he already did.

Takeru sighed after he heard the 'I can't' come from Haruka. He scratched his head a bit with the arm that was around Haruka as he tried to think of something. "Well...maybe we could just end up sitting beside each other in class? Even if you won't I'll take a nap on my desk beside of you."

Haruka blushed slightly, a smile returning to his lips. He looked over at Takeru, "I can get your seat changed, no biggy." he pondered for a moment, he could tell them he was going to 'keep on eye on' Takeru from now on. Make sure he wasn't doing or bringing anything .... Illegal to school.
He paused, whys he want to spend time near me anyway? Kidda... odd... He didn't really care, smiling warmly up at Takeru, he no longer felt the rain. He leaned his head against Takeru's shoulder, not really realizing what he was doing.

Takeru pulled Haruka a bit closer to his body when he felt his head fall against his shoulder. "Well I guess I'll be in class for once tomorrow." Takeru just looked down at Haruka and smiled a bit once again. He was still enjoying himself right now.

Haruka blushed, and chuckled, "Why? I thought you hated class." he looked up at him, a questioned look on his face. Why would he go to class? He pondered for a moment, he'd only met him that morning, so he found it odd.

Takeru looked at Haruka once the question was asked. "Why? I just want to stay close to you. I don't trust anyone in that class." Truthfully Takeru didn't trust some of the people in that class because of the fact that someone hurt Haruka when he wasnt around.

Haruka paused, tipping his head, "Why don't you trust them? Have they done anything to you?" he asked, his eyes narrow. Why would anyone want to stay close to me? I'm not really... normal... he pondered, finding it strange, his cat ears poking out.

Takeru just looked down at Haruka for a bit like he was stupid. "They won't do a damn thing to me, but what they do to you is different. I won't let them touch you even if its to brush the hair off your clothes." Ok so Takeru was a bit over protective but hey not many people even knew him to begin with so its never unexpected.

Haruka turned crimson, "Wha?" he blinked, at a lose of words, "W-why? you just met me this morning!" his blush grew, it wasn't like that fact stopped them from making out, "I can take care of myself!" he protested, forcing himself to sound serious. He'd grown used to the treatment at home and school. So it didn't matter to him either way, he just didn't want to burden Takeru. He guessed he had enough problems of his own.
Though he did admit it felt odd for someone to actually care for him. He realized he'd stopped walking, and the rain had turned to more of a sprinkle.
