Madi's ears are flat and she digs her teeth in adn accidentally kicks Darien in the leg with her hooves as she stays a float.

darien ripped her arm free wishing her mom would help her but knowing she was on her own and dived deeper into the water

darien winced feeling her ribs crack but kept swimming praying for her life and coming up 10ft away from the horse for air

Madi swims for her but is blocked by a wave of water. On the bank stands Pat. With a flick of his finger the water drives the horse away form the girl and to shore. he looks at the mare harshly. "Enough."

"No problem. I'm Patrick but everyone calls me Pat," he said and helped her up. His brown hair hangs down so it almost covers his eyes. He pushes it away with his free hand.
