???She blinked. "A team leader~" The Eevee repeated musically, followed by a small laugh. It sounded exciting, stressful. Being a leader was overall quite a title, regardless of how small a job you had. Everyone mattered during such times. The black and green eyed Eevee's expression quickly neutralized as she was questioned. "Nearby, you could say." She stared forward, though Era for a moment before fixing her eyes on the Pikachu again and smiling. "I'm with the tribe." She finally added, aided by a slow nod. Her type seemed more and more common, but God-forbid she was seen by other tribals. She assumed two... three likely responses by her appearance here. Two of them weren't too good. She picked her location to settle at strategically. She merely wanted to explore.
The Eevee stood, taking a few steps back before coming still again. "Well Era, it's pleasant to meet you. You may call me Area." Full names were long and possibly confusing. As if anyone remembered them outside the tribe anyway. Area turned on her paws quickly, facing the opposite direction from Era as she began to walk on. "Come, come. We'll find a nice place to settle and chat." Under a tree would be nice.

Era Era smiled at the introduction, "Nice to meet you Area," she said contentedly. She hadn't been planning on meeting anyone on her way here, but it was just as well that she had; a new acquaintance to chat with was just as pleasant a way to spend ther time as by herself. She didn't know many tribal Pokemon, and the few that she did know she only really knew in passing; as such, this was a new experience for her.
Era followed the Eevee without complaint, happy to comply with finding a shady spot to chat. The day was nice enough that anywhere would be fine, but it didn't really matter either way. As she felt the wind brushing through her fur she sighed with contentment, "I love days like this," she said pleasantly, "They're so vibrant and filled with life." The Pikachu gestured to the flowers that were all around, after all it was Floral Park and smiled, "It's sort of promising, like it's telling you life will always go on, no matter what."

AreaArea smiled at the Pikachu's comment as she sat down under a tree and took a deep breath. "It is lovely, isn't it?" She stared out into the distance, returning to silence. The Eevee learned to appreciate these little things that make up life. It was saddening how looked over they were. Everyone was always bored with what they had; wanting something more, something constantly greater. "It's nice to meet someone who can look at something so simple and find so much in it. There's little to really be sad about when just looking outside can bring you joy... I tend to get up early so I could listen to the birds and whenever the wind blows, I would watch the grass." She chuckled at herself, finding the idea a bit corny saying it aloud. "Whenever the children in our tribe smile and laugh, it could make my day." She thought such simplicity came with age, but her and Era had quite the gap. She was different though. "...I could never see you again and simply be glad knowing I've met you, Era." Area closed her eyes as a breeze came by. As it passed, she turned her eyes to view the Pikachu. "Tell me, what do you do when you're sad?" Her tail flicked behind her before wrapping itself around her paws, her eyes still idly on Era.

Era Era nodded in agreement with Area's words; the Eevee was clearly speaking from the experience of one far older than herself, but it was alright. The Pikachu could connect with what Area said, the pictures that she drew with her words. She smiled slightly as Area said she was glad to have met her; it touched her that someone could be so pleased by her company to say things like that. "I'm very glad to have met you too," she replied, "It seems we have a lot in common." She wasn't one to philosophize about such things, but Era could almost feel like this meeting had been more than just coincidence, although why that was she couldn't say.
Her speculation caused her to blink a few times with surprise at Area's next question. Of all the things Area could have said, she wouldn't have expected that. "Well," Era replied, thinking the question through, "Normally when I'm sad, depending on what about I'll react differently. Sometimes I'll talk to someone about it, or not even talk and just share the sadness with another who experienced it, and other times I'll find a quiet, peaceful place to be alone so that I can think through my thoughts or even just cry..." She smiled a bit sadly, she wasn't sad today, but all the same... "Normally though, I'm the one who people talk to when they're sad, not the other way around. I'm a very good listener, even when there's nothing to be said."

AreaArea's tail tip flicked at her paws, delighted that the feeling was mutual. They did have a lot in common, didn't they? It was quite nice. The Eevee generally kept such things to herself, always giving off a rather happy aura in public. "Getting a chance to speak so openly about such things without the thought of my company thinking I were weird is relaxing. It makes such simple meetings, if only for once so much more meaningful... Wouldn't you agree?" Area smiled before looking off elsewhere, away from Era as she spoke again. The Eevee looked dazed, but was listening closely. Every word sticking in her mind. Though it was such a random change in subject, she was curious of how quickly the Pikachu would adapt... Times changed quickly, after all.
"Have you ever tried screaming into a pillow?" She paused, as if expecting Era to give her a weird look. "It works." Area looked back at her then, her body shifting slightly to get a better view of Era. "You're a good support, I imagine. Having those to go to in the end tends to mean some lot. You make the backbone of our recoveries from the breakdown..." The Eevees eyes trailed off toward the grass. "It's a wonderful job. If only more were like that. "

Era Era nodded, "Yeah, it does," she replied easily, leaning back against the tree trunk as she let her thoughts run idly for a little while. "There aren't many people who can understand each other as well as that. It's something that only a few people find in their lifetimes or so they say." The felt the light breeze tickle her fur lightly and smiled, closing her eyes for just a moment. She felt content, at ease with the world like she hadn't felt in a long while. Area was very easy to talk to.
She reopened her eyes at Area's suggestion, a curious look instead of an odd one coming into her eyes. "I haven't tried that, maybe I will one day," she replied thoughtfully, considering it. "You never know I suppose." Era listened, feeling slightly embarrassed as Area remarked that she was probably a good person to go to. She had as much as said so herself, but it made her self conscious to be complimented. "Thank you," she said, continuing on with the subjects so that compliments didn't need to be dwelled on. "Yes, it's good to have people like that, but it's also important for us to be careful. It's sort of along the lines of 'who heals the healer,' if you aren't careful, all of the burdens of everyone can be quite a difficulty to bear." She smiled slightly, "I'm used to it though, no need to worry."

AreaArea's head tilted slightly at her comment. 'Who heals the healer'-- it was an interesting idea though true. The Eevee fell silent as Era continued, lingering on the idea of the quote. "...This is true. It is hard, isn't it?" She glanced back at Era after her still moment of thought. "I'm sure you have someone to fall on though... yes? I wouldn't know what to do if I didn't have that someone."This was getting depressing. Time for a subject change, Area.
The Eevee took a breath. "Ah. yes. You're with the guilds~ Do tell me what missions are like!" Her head reeled back to Era again, smiling. Her tail unraveled from her paws and loosely waved behind her. Area could only travel so much. She needed to be keeping tabs on the tribe rather often, but learning of others' adventures was fun too. She was a sucker for stories.

Era Era looked down, deciding not to answer Area's question. She honestly didn't have someone to fall on, she didn't want to put her burdens on anyone else. It was a habit that she'd had from the beginning and it was too hard to break it anymore. Era kept her thoughts and those who needed her help silently to herself until a time when she could release all the excess stress in some way or another. Usually she channeled it into her battling, releasing her troubles by making the sadness or anger or fear increase her fighting actions, but sometimes there was nothing to do about it. Sometimes you had to sit by yourself somewhere quiet and tell yourself that it would be alright. It wasn't something that normally troubled her, but thinking about it wasn't really something that she was up for. As such, she was pleased when Area changed the subject, happy to talk about something else.
A smile came to her face at the question, Area sounded eager to hear the answer, so she was happy to oblige. "Well there's two types of missions," she told the Eevee absentmindedly looking at the clouds in the sky as she did so, "There are those you do with your Team, and there are those that the whole Guild gets involved in," she explained, "Most of the time Team Missions involve us taking care of Pokemon who cause trouble around the Kingdom or returning a missing item or things like that. Sometimes Pokemon want to find things or see places and you escort them there to protect them from other Pokemon who might not want them there. The Guild Missions are different, because normally they involve dealing with Pokemon that pose a threat to the entire Kingdom or even just all Pokemon." Era paused, her mind on the Elite and all the problems they were causing, but a moment later she finished her thought with a smile, "Regardless of what the missions are about though, I enjoy doing them, because they help make others happy, and that's our job."

AreaArea watched Era closely as she spoke. She was a kind Pikachu. It made her glad. She saw plenty of nice Pokemon regardless, but Era had a shine to her. "It sounds wonderful. I imagine you go everywhere." So freely too. Of course there must have been hardships, but the Eevee looked over it easily. "You have quite the job. I really don't leave tribe grounds at all, but there's plenty for me to handle there... Though I would like to get out more. That's how I stumbled here." Half true. She came here willingly out of boredom and free time. It sounded more innocent though.

Era Era smiled, "Yeah, you see a lot of places and meet lots of interesting people," she agreed, "It's a lot of fun." She stared up at the clouds still pondering them a bit, she liked to find shapes in them every once in a while. Her attention diverted back to Area when she talked a little about how things were for her in the Tribe; Era's ears pricked up when she heard that, she was very interested in the way the tribe functioned, since she didn't have any idea personally. "It sounds like Tribe jobs must be hard work to though," she said, intrigued, "I don't know much about the Tribe, you're the first Tribe member I've really actually talked to before." Zori and Moonfall couldn't really count, she'd never talked to either of them much at all. "What do you do there?"

AreaArea nodded thoughtfully. The Tribe subject made her ears twitch though and her attention quickly rested on Era again. Her expression seemed to change from it's cheery self, as if questioning explaining who she was... Could it really hurt though? She doubted it. She'd meet the guilds personally sooner or later and with that, The mid aged Eevee took a breath. "My name's Foughten Area of Fallen Solitude. I'm the leader of the Tribe." Area smiled. "I don't leave our territories often. We have quite the population, you see." The guilds still had sent of her Tribe. "We have leaders though. A number of them. It makes my job rather passive..." The way she acted, being a leader almost sounded questionable even to her. "I have my share of duties, of course. It gets stressful too, but I actually find what you do harder." Area chuckled. It was true. Maybe she was just used to it though. She held leader most of her life. "It's a wonderful thing though... Being depended on. You feel so meaningful and then you see all these faces that look up to you... Of course, there's those that oppose you too. You see them all the time as well, their eyes alone ask why you're even in charge of them." Area seemed to daze a bit, thinking about the Tribe. She personally wasn't very special, she wasn't very strong or powerful. She was still an Eevee and so she remained.

Era Era's eyes widened as Area formally introduced herself, shocked that she was in the presence of someone as high ranking as a Leader. The Leader of the Tribe must be at least the equivalent of a Guildmaster, and yet Area was speaking to her as if they were equals. Era almost switched attitudes to a more respectful manner but then she considered the situation and decided against it; if Area had wanted someone to talk to her formally she would have just been upfront about her identity in the first place. She waited for Area to conclude before commenting, her gaze pleasant, "Sounds like it must have its fair share of trials too though," she replied, "I'm just in charge of my nine other Teammates, but you've got a whole Tribe to take care of. They must really respect you."
Era had respect for the Eevee already, but that had increase monumentally from the change in conversation. However there was still one thing that puzzled her, which she didn't quite understand. "Your name..." the Pikachu said, turning to look at Area, "It seems awfully sad. I hope that's not too personal, it's just that it seems really melancholy." There was a sort of unspoken question there, as if to say Why?

Area"I get as much respect as you do, I'm sure. Like I said, the little things matter. The way you view things and act toward others gains plenty of respect. There's others out there that notice it." Area never liked putting herself so high ranked. She wanted to be normal and have normal conversations with normal people. Something away from the workplace and into the day after day situations life throws at you that you lose sight of due to everything else you're forced to deal with because that's your life now. What's respect when you can't enjoy it? "Thank you though... and my name?" Area tilted her head up toward the sky, her black and green eyes staring into the sun. "I was told I have something to fulfill years ago... So long ago. It's been over 40 years, but I remember it clearly." The Eevee's smile turned weak, smug. "But, what? I don't know. Not yet. I'm sure I'll know when the time comes though."

Era Era nodded, her expression more solemn than it had been before. Even though Area had answered her question, she almost felt that she'd intruded upon something that she shouldn't have touched. "I see," the Pikachu replied, "Well I guess there are some things that end up like that, aren't there?" She didn't want to seem like she didn't care, but pressing things that were uncertain and potentially frightening was never a good idea.
Era relaxed again, changing the subject since they'd seemed to have reached a hard topic to converse about. "You know, the clouds are really lovely today," she pointed out, gesturing to them in the sky above the two relaxing Pokemon. "Fluffy clouds are the best kind because you can find shapes in them if you look hard enough." Era grinned, "It's a bit of a childish game, but it's still fun. It helps me to relax and takes my mind off of things sometimes." She perused the sky, spotting an oddly shaped cloud and pointing it out. "That one there looks kind of like Swinub!" she said cheerfully, "Can you see it?"

Area Area nodded swiftly. Yes... that was true. "Maybe it'll work out for us~ I imagine it's something wonderful." She chirped, looking back at Era. Her ears indecisively rose and fell at her question, and her expression dulled. Cloud watching? She's never done it before... As the Pikachu turned to look at the sky, she did as well. She then traced, or tried to trace the cloud she pointed to. When Area figured she was looking at the right one, she squinted for a few seconds, trying to make it's figure out. Finally, the Eevee's expression brightened. She saw it! ...Kind of. "I think I get it." She chuckled before falling back on the grass, her front paws hugged at her mane as she stared up at the sky. Area took a heavy sigh as she scanned the sky, trying to make shapes out of clouds. The idea almost sounded silly Finally, the Eevee pointed her paw up. "That one looks like you." After a few seconds, her paw slowly retreated, her eyes scanning the sky again.
