The game play has nothing to do with whats wrong with the movies. What's wrong with the movies is that they made their main focus of a character that doesn't even exist in the RE world, and introduced other characters and elements that don't exist in the RE world as well. The second movie was filled with so many errors, and non existing characters, such as the dude in the Wheelchair, can't remember his name, but they tried to pass him off as an ashford in the movie, of which he wasn't, and not to mention that his daughter wasn't a real character in the series as well, Angela is what I think they called her in the movie. The only Angela that there is is the one from Degeneration, the only true RE movie.

And also, not to mention the fact that they put psychic bs in the movie that has no relevance to the game what so ever, Heck, Psychic abilities have no relevance to Science what so ever. The RE Series has always been explained with Scientific Theory (Not exactly fact), and Psychic abilities are not, and cannot be supported by Scientific theory what so ever. That is the Main problem i have with the movies, not to mention a whole other list of problems I don't feel like going into as of right now.

Are you starting to see where I'm coming from? The Super Mario Brothers movie was hailed as the worst video game movie crossover ever, but that is not so, the RE movies are much worst,and is the worst video game crossover movies ever...though I'm sure I can find a whole load of other movies based off of video games that are bad, but yet, none of them will impact me just as much as the RE movies did in the negative range.

I don't know what Made the Mario bros. movie enjoyable for me to watch, if it was all the bright colors, or just the strange setting that it was based on. I admit that the Mario bros. movie is bad in context compared to the games, but then again, no other game has left so much space of which can be explored by in different themes as does Mario. Resident Evil does not leave any space to be explored upon, it has to be as it is, and not as what can be to be an enjoyable experience for someone who is such a huge fan of the games. RE isn't like DC and Marvels Alternate Universe spin offs, It has to be singular, and has to be focused on what makes Resident Evil, Resident evil.

Also, if you were to cut out all the puzzles in the first game, and the back tracking because of those puzzles, you could easily fit RE into a 1 to 2 hour movie. Heck, it's supposedly possible to beat Resident Evil Remake in less than 3 hours, that's how you unlock the unlimited grenade launcher in the game, though the lord knows i won't ever be able to do it lol.

well its immpossible to make a maiors moive changeing the plot just can't be done because all of the games are pretty much the same thing peach kiddnapped by bowser resuce next game peach kiddnapped by bowser resuce next game peach kiddnapped by bowser resuce all the games have to do with saveing peach you ask me she wants to get kiddnapped because after about the 3rd time dont you think she would have hired gaurds or something

Well I dont know what but if I have to keep a game movie I take SH. All others were crap.

lol, yeah, i thought so too ^_^ though my question is, how come the Pachislot game is so cheesy? lol It's like an Anime. though the lord knows I'd like to play it. ^_^

The Resident Evil Pachislot machine is one of the arcade games they have in Japan. do a search for it on youtube and check out the videos of it, and then you'll see what I'm talking about lol, i just don't think RE is Anime compatible lol, well, in this sense it seems cheesy and cliched filled, but it still looks totally fun to play. but it doesn't have that seriousness that the regular games have. ^_^

Imagine how they portrayed Rebecca in The Umbrella Chronicles, she was totally Anime Stereotypical, and I didn't like that, I wish they had got the girl that did Rebecca's voice from Zero or RE remake to reprise their role, but the Japanese wanted to make her seem a bit more helpless than she really is, and have that childish Orihime like attitude in TUC...I didn't like that, over all, TUC is possibly my favorite game. But Basically that's what the Pachislot is like, totally stereotypical anime fan service I would say lol.

Sorry for being MIA for the past week guys, but I got a horrible virus on my computer and it had to be reformatted, so now, i have to start back at Square one, and I'm not happy about that, but I'll get through it.
