Tempest
"Glad you see things my way. I was afraid I'd have to kick your radioactive a**."
Tempest waved a paw nonchalantly, a smile pulling at her face despite the obvious glare Fang was giving her. She glanced only briefly to Era before quickly attempting to console the younger Pikachu.
"Hey you, relax. We're a bit of an odd pair, you'll get use to it so try to stick around some, eh~ Besides we might need a referee. You seem capable."
Eh, that might not sound as comforting as she meant it to be. Oh well.
She turned back to Fang as the Raichu turned to her and voiced her final question and it forced a smirk onto Tempest's face.
"Whose to say it won't be me taking you out?" She jested.

 FangFang remained still, closing her eyes as Tempest poked at her. "I see your position improved, but your attitude did not." She stated passively, shrugging slightly as her tail began to wave lightly behind her. As she lowered her paws, she opened her eyes and stared off for a good few seconds, recalling bits and parts of their conversation. "What happened that you need an advisor?" Her once mocking tone turned to one of concern as she was out of touch with the history of the guilds in recent events.

 Era
At Fang's question Era's ears perked up, and she decided to lend a hand in the explanation. "The Guild charter got rearranged not that long ago," Era input quietly, afraid that she shouldn't be saying anything, "Tempest got promoted to Guildmaster and she needs an advisor to help her out in her new post."

Tempest
Tempest's ears flattened as Era answered for her. "Yeah, that's...that's the nice version. Here's the bad..." She sighed. "Banquo got hurt, but he'd planned on quitting anyways beforehand. All the old guild advisors are missing and no one knows where they've gone so we need to get replacements."The older Pikachu stopped, her tail folded up before her and she was smoothing the fur of it's tip between her paws in a strangely nervous manner.
"...I do need you, Fangy. I can't think of anyone else I'd rather have boss me around. A lot of things have happened, the world is crumbling beneath our paws..."

FangFang listened to the two paiently. By the end of Tempest's explaination, her eyes showed minor weakness and she didn't exactly regret accepting the offer. "I'll help." She replied simply with a slight nod. It was more of a reassurance. "I'll start as soon as I must as well..." Her voice faded out slightly. She was aging, she was fragile, but she was hardly a pushover. The thought often hit her regardless.

Era Era listened silently to Tempest's version of the event, her thoughts heavy with regret. It was true, the situation of the Guilds was nothing short of a wreck, and the Guildmasters, new and old, needed to piece the shattered pieces of the world together. It was good that Tempest had found an advisor who she seemed to trust if nothing less; everyone needed something to cling to in uncertain times, familiarity often being something that made the harsh reality more bearable. She sighed in relief at the amends that were made between the two of them and tried her best to smile. Well, that was something figured out at least. "I guess you found your advisor then Tempest..." Era said to break the silence.

Tempest smiled, paws laced together. "Thank you, Fangy~"
The Pikachu gave a slight chuckle at the Raichu's noticeable annoyance. She was a good friend, but the two had such stubborn personalites that they butted heads constantly.
Ah well.
"Yeah, I guess I have." She turned to Era and shrugged.
"I'm not sure she'll be doing much advising. More like yelling her head off at me."
But Tempest needed a firm hand to keep her out of trouble sometimes so it worked.
To Fang she added, "You'll start immediately. I'll introduce you to the other guild higher-ups at the next meeting..."

FangFang smiled weakly. It was work, but at least she'd be with Tempest again for however long. "I'd like to know where I'm staying now then." she commented as she regained her posture. "That and whatever else I'd need to know."The role reversal felt odd, but you had to start somewhere.

Era Era once again found herself lurking in the position of third wheel and practically squirmed with discomfort. Tempest had told her to stay but now things were getting more and more like that which should only be between a Guildmaster and her advisor. She gave a nervous laugh when Tempest directed a comment toward her but otherwise didn't say anything. Arceus, when she wasn't out getting herself into near death situations or looking after her Team members she seemed to always get herself caught up in situations that seemed to be uninclusive of herself. The same thing had ended up happening with Tolin and Serrin... She blinked a few times to clear her head; no, now she was overthinking things.
The young Pikachu once again frowned, her ear twitching slightly in a sign of discomfit. The way that Fang was ignoring her just added to the unwanted awkwardness of the situation, and she couldn't help but feel as though maybe Tempest really didn't want her there after all. She couldn't really answer any of Fang's questions, they were definitely out of her league as far as Era was concerned. There were a lot of things regular Guild members didn't know that the higher-ups were privy to, the only things that Era knew were those that they had been told and those that Ethfael had been silently piecing together, but those were just guesses which had little foundation. The Guilds had been up to a large number of things recently and the details that strung them together were missing. Tolin knew. Era had known from even before the day that everyone turned on the older Scyther that he knew something they didn't, but she also knew and held faith that he had to have a good reason for doing so. Although that was the case, it still hurt just as much to be denied the information again and again; to live a life founded on guesses.
"I can't really help you there..." Era replied to Fang's query, "Although most of the Guilds are staying in or nearby the Palace here since their bases were almost all destroyed. The remains of the Guilds are few except for my own Guild, the Guild of the Sun. The balance of Arceus is askew, these Pokemon with pendants that enhance their powers are out for our blood, and new problems are popping up all the time; that's the extent of my knowledge." Tempest surely knew more about it than she did, but that was the basics at least; the very minimal basics. ((I went back and did a background check of what she knows for this post. It's hard to keep track of the stuff that your characters know versus what you've read/heard from other people. ^ ^;; ))

Tempest clapped her paws, pleased she told Era to stick around. Explaining all this stuff over and over again was beginning to be a bore. She'dhad to explain it twice to her new second in command. He wasn't particular bright, but he could kick some a**!
"That's the jist of it. Though..." she raised a paw with two fingers poised together as though about to pinch someone. "...there are a few minor, other details...but I'll tell you those later on with one of the other guildmasters filling in the holes I'm not aware of."That and they were still hush-hush about the Elite and Darkrai...it would do no good to let Era hear all that. She was a smart kid, but still...
Tempest frowned, the guilds would need to find out sooner or later...she hoped she wasn't going to regret what she was about to do.
"Alright, Kid." She said suddenly, looping an arm around the smaller Pikachu's shoulders. "This stays between the three of us, don't tell your team a word of it..."Why she was prattling on to Era, she didn't quite know yet, but it might do good to have someone in the Guild of the Sun be fully aware. The Pikachu could keep her eyes open just in case...
One could not always rely on Solaris after all.
"Darkrai is trying to rise into power, he's taken control of the leader of these Pokemon that wear those pendants. The Pokemon are called Arceus Elite and they are his foot soldiers, embued with his own power. If we don't stop Darkrai, he'll take complete control of the world in Arceus place. He's already got both Creaus and Suecra, the two demi-gods that once made Arceus whole...he's got a mirror that can turn into a blade and kill any legendary it touches...I hate to be the wet blanket on the party but things don't look too good."

FangFang glanced between Era and Tempest rather repetitively before resting her eyes on Tempest again. It didn't matter to her if Era was in the loop. According to Fang, awareness was possibly one of the only strengths they were getting by the sound of it. Besides, she liked the Pikachu thus far. She easily took liking to those that had enough common sense. "She's nervous enough, don't drag her into too much." Though ranking aside, they were all more or less on the same eye level. "But, Elite?"Connecting the dots between Arceus and Elite, they were obviously not pushovers. Darkrai on the other hand wasn't exactly news to her so despite the question, she knew well enough they wouldn't get out of all this too soon.

Era Era listened, stunned into a state of shock at the news that touched her ears. Oh Arceus, this wasn't just bad, it was bordering on apocalyptic levels. It all came down to Darkrai in the end then, just like it always seemed to, only this time he had the upper hand. Everything that had been happening recently seemed to click into place given that information, all the attacks from the Pokemon with Pendants, Arceus' Elite as Tempest had called them, the appearance of so many legendaries around the Guild, even why she and all the other Guild members hadn't been informed of anything; it all made sense now. Tempest's arm around her shoulders was comforting, in a sense, but there was only so much comfort one could comprehend when they were given something as heavy as that to weigh on their minds. When Fang voiced concern, Era shook her head, regaining her ability to process her thoughts, "No, no, I'm fine," she said to the Raichu, "It's just...a lot to swallow."
There were a lot of matters to be attended to then, by Guildmasters, by Legendaries, but that begged the question, what was Tempest after by telling this to her. She was just a Pikachu, an average Guild Member who wasn't special, wasn't powerful, was just...normal. Nevertheless... "So Arceus is helpless, his demi-gods are in the hands of Darkrai, his remaining power is in the hand of corrupted Elite, and the enemy has a sword that's very powerful and lethal to practically anything it touches..." Era summed up, still fighting back her urge to panic, "And so we've got to stop all of that with the small number of Pokemon we have on our side, or Darkrai will take over the world." Swallowing a bit difficultly she added, "Please tell me someone has a plan."

Tempest
"The Elite hold each pendant, there were 17 in total but the numbers dropped some. We have some pendants, some are scattered. The Majority is with the Elite...we need to get those necklaces." She turned to Era.
Tempest raised a finger and wagged it back and forth.
"We've got a plan of sorts, but I won't tell you at the moment. We need to work out some kinks in it."
This was a blatant lie. In all honesty she didn't think Era could handle the 'We're gonna kill god!' plan.
She already seemed a bit disturbed by the news as it were.
Tempest didn't want to break her.
"I'm telling you this, cause you got a good head on your shoulders kid. Keep your eyes open and your ears alert...."

FangFang closed her eyes idly as the conversation continued. Upon finishing, her eyes reopened and she nodded slightly. "Alright, it looks like we're cleared up then." She chirped in as she stepped away from the two girls and walked back toward the stairs. "I'm going to look around. Take time to enjoy yourselves." She finished upon entering the guild. Not that it mattered she was there. She was just another Pokemon running around the halls.

Era Era nodded in response to Tempest's words. That was something she could handle; she could keep her mouth shut and her eyes open, which seemed to be just what Tempest was asking. It was reassuring to know that the Guildmasters had a plan too, even if it wasn't finalized just yet. There was some hope that they had a way to turn things around, and hope was just what this desperate Pikachu needed. "I'll do my best," she replied, "I can keep an eye on things around my Guild, and see if there's anything of use to be found."
As Fang walked away Era waved goodbye, figuring that if she was going to be Tempest's advisor they'd probably see each other around at some point, if only in passing. "She seems...nice," Era said, looking after the Raichu even though she was gone from her sight, "Or at least genuine." Era always looked for the good in people, even when they kind of scared her.
