Kai looked down at Tala and gave him a small genuine smile. "I love you too, Tal." He said softly as he continued to walk away from the school. He didn't know where he was going and frankly, didn't care.

Brooklyn glared at Bryan. "I just need to get some painkillers." He finished before pushing himself off the table again and stumbling to the adjoining room which happened to be the kitchen.

Kai smirked and changed his grip on Tala so it was easier for him to hold the redhead. "That's ok. You can go to sleep if you want. I'm going to my place, ok?" Kai asked, changing his direction and beginning to walk in the direction of his house.

Brooklyn shook his head. "Oh ye of little faith." He said, reaching the kitchen bench and taking the bottle of painkillers that were sitting on the bench. He took two and dry swallowed them. "When you need painkillers you normally don't have the time or the inclination to reach up into a cupboard."

Kai smiled softly down at Tala as he let himself into his house.

"Kai? Is sthat you?" Came a slurred yell from the lounge room.

Kai ignored it and walked quietly up the stairs to his room., cursing his memory that he had forgotten that his grandfather would be home.

He walked into his room and shut the door. He lay Tala's body on his bed before moving back to his door and locking it. Kai sighed and leant against it as he listened to the sound of his grandfather breaking something made of glass and cursing as presumably the glass cut him.

Brooklyn quirked an eyebrow at Bryan. "Why not? You can eat them like a tictac. It means that it doesn't take as long until you can get them."

Kai smirked. "THis door was comfortable." He walked towards his bed and sat down on it. "Why? Getting cold?"

Brooklyn pouted. "Why are you going to do that? I haven't overdosed yet. It's better when they're within reach, trust me." He told Bryan seriously

Kai smirked and lay down on the bed, wrapping an arm around Tala's waist and pulling the redhead closer toward him.

"I thought it would have been something like that." He whispered into Tala's ear.

Brooklyn sighed. "Whatever. Though, a better idea would be to just leave them where they were." He sighed and hefted himself up on to the counter so he sat with his legs dangling.

Kai smiled sleepily and buried his head in the crook of Tala's neck. "Much better." He murmured against the skin of the redhead's neck. Kai shut his eyes and allowed himself to relax.

Brooklyn looked down at his legs and blushed before folding his arms and hugging himself. "No idea." He said flatly.

Kai smiled and moved closer to Tala, feeling the first waves of sleep begin to take him over. The Russian was filled with an overwhelming sense that he wouldn't want to be anywhere else. " 'Love you." he murmured before falling asleep.

Brooklyn blushed at the intensity of Bryan's gaze. "Something like that." He said softly, looking down at his hands in his lap. He let his gaze wander to look at his legs and sighed.
