Standing in the open was completely moronic, so he immediately took cover and pulled out his hockey stick, letting go of Kumajiro, the bear stuck close to him like glue.

Already it appeared as if Kumajiro was readying himself to start attacking. Mattie didn't need to watch as the bear's soft tender and cuddly appearance soon disappeared and took an immediate 360 degree turn. Long sharp teeth and claws, and his small black eyes turned a dark shade of red. So much for being huggable.

Matthew gripped his hockey stick tightly. Sure he didn't seem too much of a threat, that was if he could be seen, taking advantage of his own situation, he ultimately decided it would be best if he went in after the children. Keeping low, he made his way. Kumajiro on his heels.

Alexander stepped to the side of Tomoe (still not really knowing who she is) and blocked some bullets comming at her from the side as more troops approched "ya alright there?" he asked as he started rushing at the troops comming from the side

Reinforcements approched the location where the shouts of "cursed ones" were comming from little did they know that the first group had already been eradicated by that powerful onslaught of the "cursed ones" they had met up with. upon seeing the group they took cover and started firing at them.

Croix arrived next to Ayu just intime to block a RPG from hitting where she was at, his shield hissed but was undamaged "You ok?" he asked her "Well go on use yoru magic i cant reach them from here"

Maverick was now inside the building he could hear the crying of children and a few babies inside "Hello... we are here to help... anyone... please... we are from the hidden city of Sanctuary" he said. trying to coax a few people out.

This made it more interesting. Alfred noticed they were taking cover. He needed to get near. He heard a voice in his mind... it was Tony. "I'll help you, I can sense where their minds are." And so Al took Tony's advice, moving along the building, trying not to get shot as he found a clear shot to some of the enemy, firing.

Eliza pocketed her gun, figuring they had this handled and ran off to the church, upon arriving she said, "Where do you guys need me?"

Ayu looked up at Croix, startled. "Oh, um, thank you." Looking through the hole she had made, she saw even more soldiers coming at them. Thinking she was staring at the soldiers, suddenly, she grinned. She stared at the weapons of the soldiers, In a low quiet voice, she started to sing. She started to manipulate magic into it and then started directed it towards the enemies weapons, heating them up slowly, burning the soldiers hands she hoped.

San quickly jumped down from the roof and moved into the building before the soldiers spotted her. Seeing Maverick, she moved over to his side and pulled her mask up again. Looking around, she set her spear against a wall. Moving forward slowly, hands up showing she had no weapons, she said outloud, "Hello? Um, we're from the sanctuary. We want to help you out of here as safely as we can.. We'd like your coroporation if we can too.. They more people we can get to help, the safer you all will be."

The kids started to come out slowly as they noticed they were not going to be hurt.

maverick looked around "Man theres alot of them.... get them all to the center of the church" he said as he started drawing a giant alchemical circle on the ground

Croix smiled and notice she was singing. "Hmm song magic?... oh thats right you said you trained with Luca and Cloche right? ok tell ya what. you sing, and dont worry about anything hitting you, ill take care of protecting ya... got it?" he smiled softly as he got his lance ready and held it like a giant shield

The troops opened fire hitting Heavy pretty square on.

"Oopfhh" he grunted as he fell back and took cover "Dats smart" he growled as he checked his ammo "Heh not vad... " he said as he poked the gun through a large hole and started fireing again.

the enemy troops were closing in, their fireing was becomming no better when it came to aiming but way better when it came to the amount of bullets they had flying through the air.

"Um, yes." Tomoe replied with a nod before she slipped her fan back inside her robes. "Thank you." She then noticed some troops trying to find their way behind her, but she quickly intercepted them with her sword, beginning to confront them.
Toph breathed a sigh of relief, knowing that her new comrade was not just squashed under her power on the first day of their journey. For the fact that she was blind, she could not see the strange projectiles that were being shot in all directions. Instead she formed an armor of a steel door behind her, binding it around her form using her bending. She then just charged forth at the enemies, punching through the crowd easily.
Bunko quickly noticed that she was vulnerable at a certain angle and made up for it with quickly jumping and twisting her body out of the way of the onslaught of bullets. She then found herself landing next to Alfred. "Oh! Hey there...Al, right?" She asked with a light smile, not taking this whole "getting-attacked-by-an-army-with-guns" seriously, since she was used to this all her life after all.

San smiled at the little ones and led them to the center of the church. She started looking around for anymore, wondering if there were any that were hiding.

Ayu blinked several times before nodding, noticing he readied his weapon. She noticed the ammount of bullets running through the air, she frowned and altered what she was singing. She then started directing her magic to slowing down the bullets and keeping them off direction, trying to keep them from hitting anyone.

Oomizu picked up the one she had found and carried them to the circle, fussing over some of the dirt on their face the way a mother would to relax them some. She sat that one down and managed to call over some with a wave of her hand and a reassuring smile. She glanced out of the corner of her eyes and saw Spy and gave a small wave before tending back to the children.

Scout ducked behind a building and looked around. He saw a drain pipe and shimmied up it before crawling onto the roof and running ontop of the roof to get a better veiw of the troops down below before bringing out Force-A-Nature and opening fire on them, ready to duck into safety on the roof should they try firing.

Luka had found refuge behind a building and looked around before using some back pathes to find a way to the troops. She found one stnding near the alley she was hiding in and carefully used her whip to pull him in before proceeding to beat him up with ease.
