He is....Em and I hatched from the same clutch of eggs, long, long, long ago....our histories are varied, and quite a tale to tell...but like all lives, there is happiness to match the tears...

Bez returns with two tall mugs and a bit of sausage, cheese and bread.
"So... Tam has told me about how old ye really were... kind of blew my mind at the time... I mean, he and I are as old as most of creation... as are all my brothers... but outside the Father, there is no true immortality... not even amongst our kind... nevertheless, when he explained the rejuvenation process, it made a twisted sort of sense... kind of. But I never truly understood it all. Still, when he was raising you, ye were a kid, through and through... that much I could see. What I don't understand is that Em's a dragon and yer cat based, sort of. Yer actually a lot of things when it comes down to it. So... is he doing the same... undergoing a rejuvenation?"

No....he was revived, not rejuved....I undergo rejuvenation every million years or so, to recharge my magical core...he embraced the shadows, and gained a longer lifespan.

As in the murder your sister shadows? As in the stab your brother's heart and tear it from him shadows...Yes. He has redeemed himself, though...or can you still sense the shadows around him...for I see none.
