Nasumi nodded greeting to Miazi and Tsukiya as they came into the clearing. She gave Shadow a quick lick on the forhead and padded up to the twins, "I,m sorry, I didn't catch your guys's names, I'm Nasumi." she smiled and patiently waited the reply. It seemed as though she had all the time in the world.

Shadow looked at the meat that had been put in front of her far a long moment before taking a bite out of it. She still was not used to not having milk but she was not going to complain. She was only able to eat a few bites before her stomach protested against all the solid food. When Nasumi came and licked her forehead, Shadow looked up and smiled at her. She was still a bit hungry, but she would live.

Cassie looked up from having shoved her snot deep into the buck which resulted in all her face being covered in blood. She yawned and shook her coat out as she stepped away full to the point of breaking. She grinned as she walked around the buck to stretch out fully. " I'm Cassie. My brother who is stuffing his maw still is Deuce."
Deuce grunted a reply as he ripped one final piece from the carcass and with it clenched securely in his teeth, trotted over to his sister. He plopped down at his sisters side to contently gnaw on the meat as he eyed the wolf in front of him. He did a quick scan of the clearing and settled down content in the safety.

"Pleasure to meet you both," Nasumi said and then returned to Shadow. "I'm going to take a bath, you can come or stay, doesn't matter, as long as you are safe." she smiled then started to pad off following the scent of the closest lake.

Shadow yipped and jumped after Nasumi once more. She did not want anything to do with the water, but she liked Nasumi a lot, and where ever she went, Shadow wanted to be.

Nasumi was glad that Shadow was like her...well...shadow. She reached a bank, and turned to Shadow and said very solemly, "Shadow, I want you to close your eyes," she did'nt want Shadow to see her shape-shift yet, she was to young.

Shadow tilted her head in slight confusion when Nasumi asked her to close her eyes, but obeyed none the less. Nasumi had given her shelter, friendship and food and Shadow was not about to question her. She lay in the snow and covered her eyes with her paws.

Nsumi sighed, she foucoused her mind on herself. Suddenly she stood up, and her orange fur dissapeared, revealing her true form. Her lightweight tank-top armor, black pants and weapon's pouch. her long blonde hair tied in a ponytail. She shifted uncomforatably and griped her forehead protector. She felt her long and deadly katana behind her. She felt her stomack start to burn, and a black seal formed, very noticible. "O.K. you can look, this is...me" Nasumi said to Shadow expecting the worst

Tsukiya noticed something out of the ordinary from the spot where he was sleeping. He looked and whispered, "Hey, Miazi, c'mere!" He walked over to the bushes near the lake where Nasumi and Shadow were. He looked and saw an armed blond woman. He remembered his last encounter with humans and was about to attack when he caught the woman's scent-it was Nasumi! He was dazed and sat to collect his confused mind.

Shadow opened her eyes and gave a yelp, jumping back. She had never seen a human before, and did not know what to make of it. She looked around for Nasumi, but she wasn't there. She sniffed around and noticed Tsukiya looking at the strange newcomer with dazed interest. She sniffed the feet of the human. It smelled like Nasumi! Shadow looked up in confusion, and slight fear. She was so much bigger than before.

"Shadow, this is the human form of me, but don't be afraid, I look scarier than i am smile " Nasumi picked up Shadow and held her close. "And nomatter what I look like, I will always be the same person." She walked over to the lake, and cupped a handful of water, "Now, how about that bath?" She grinned

Tsukiya was curious about the new revelation about Nasumi, so he walked over still about this new form. He walked up and said, "Hello agian, hope i am not intruding. Well, this is most certainly interesting, mind telling me about this?"

Nasumi regarded him distainfully. how he was talking ticked her off, “Alot of wolves out here are shape-shifters, and I'm one of them... and if you don't like it, well... get over it!” Nasumi's eyes started to turn red, and she almosed bared the fans that had suddenly grew. “now, i'm going to go take a bath...so if you would please exuse me!” Nasumi said, storming off.

Shadow was a bit uneasy when Nasumi picked her up, but did not struggle. Whatever Nasumi was, she was Nasumi, and Shadow was not about to throw herself back into loneliness because her friend can change her shape. When they got into the water, Shadow had a moment of panic, but as long as Nasumi held her, she felt safe.
