((Mmmkay. So Zeru's stuck til' August 8th or so.... Diablo's stuck in an alternate dimension for now... Ah! Right.))

Zeru's Doppelganger whispered to Phebe from the shadows. "Awww, now's where's the little demoness I've come to love?" he asked her. "I was thinking about marriage, but.... if you're going to be so childish..." he added, trying to draw Phebe into changing.

Doppelganger caught her. He was slightly caught off guard though and fell backwards onto his butt. "Hmph," he sounded as he landed. Then he rolled his eyes. If you can't beat em', join em', right? "Well, where's a storybook?" he asked, needing a book to read a story.

Doppel(As I will now be shortening it) sighed. "Well, then no story for you, but... we can do something else that doesn't need a book," he suggested. Black silk covered him right now, a black t-shirt and long black pants. He didn't need armor since they weren't doing any battling. So, he wore something soft and comfortable.

Luci gave a hint of a bit of emotion of not wanting him to leave that only he would have been able to notice--though she did open the portal for him and gave him the power to return to the banished lands whenever he was ready to do so.

Phebe giggled childishly at Doppel. With the atmosphere 'bubble' being close to earth's, Phebe practiced another transformation.. Her angelic form. "I am like mother now.. with red wings..!" She turned to Doppel, "Thank you for taking care of me in my original form." She then turned away and sat next to Sera, her mother.

Light was about to give in and do as Sera requested when he heard Zeru ask 'what about a kiss'? Light looked over towards Zeru whose eyes where alit with jealousy and anger "She believes that if I kiss the girl I can purge the demon's fog from her lungs." Light smirked "I don't know if it would work, but what do you think?" Light wondered if Zeru and Hazel where an item simply because of the jealousy in his eyes.

(Sorry I am not writing more. Writers block not knowing what to do and not much time availible for internet. In Britain now.)

Sighing Light kneeled down and looked at Hazel. He began to wonder if he could just simply kiss her on the forehead and see if it worked or not. Slowly he bent down and, following Sera's directions, thought about wanting to help her and sent a small portion of his energy to her hoping it would work and kissed her forehead at the same time. After a second he stood back up and waited to see if she would recover.

Zeru had accepted the fact that Light needed to kiss her, but now... hearing it again hurt slightly. He just wanted it to be over with. A slight chillful numb washed into his eyes. He was reverting to his more stoic, shadowy self. It seemed to hurt less for him to be evil or at least apathetic... caring hurt.

Doppel easily recognized the shift in Zeru and smiled in the shadow realm. When Zeru became more uncaring, Doppel was able to do more, because Zeru didn't care who was hurt. Sadly, Doppel could still feel the tether Zeru held in his heart to Hazel and to Luci, wishing to do good, but not liking the pain. Doppel would allow him to keep the tethers as long as Zeru stayed apathetic. He would slowly push Zeru's heart into the hate, into the darkness and shadows.

Light bent down once more, but this time he kissed Hazel on the lips sending breath and energy into her body. He thought about how brave she had been trying to help him. Light wanted her to live so he might make freinds of these strangers and her. After he had followed Sera's instructions exactly this time he stood up and looked at Hazel hoping she would awake.
