Emma winced slightly as the wound closed, the magic prickling but not burning. She vanished from under Scribbler's hands, silver and blue twining around her as she faded out.
((I have to run, be back in about an hour! Sorry for the sudden exit, but I will return!))

"Emma wait!" Farskon called, and gasped."Alright looks like it's just the two of us again, quickly let' run to the next watch tower."
There was no way they could fight all those uniformed soulless one's. They had to get rid of the watchtowers, and fast.

Scribbler blinked at the enchantress's disappearance. "Well, that's not supposed to happen..." She had a feeling Emma was safe, though.
"Yeah, let's go."

The Paladin ran up to the next watch tower hitting his blades together. This one was more guarded. They would need to burn it down, and then just run.
"Quickly let's burn it on the inside, and just make a dash for it!"

Alright, up for a trip? Scribbler flapped her wings, swooping from behind in an attempt to fly Paladin into the building. Ink rained down, snaring a few warriors.
Of course, they shouted and tried to follow her in.

The Paladin struggled and whined in protest but settled down well enough to roll up some paper, and set it a aflame with his heated swords. He threw it into a window. And the flames began to spread.
"Watch out!" he thought to her quickly.
A few arrows whizzed past her.

Sorry!
Scribbler squeaked, but held position, beating her wings harder to try and mess with their aim.
Come on, come on!
Once Paladin was done stuffing the tower with combustibles she tightened her grip and spiralled upwards, hoping to get out of range.

We're halfway done, but that watchtower over there looks very well guarded.
It was true there we're over a dozen archer's already knocking their arrows in place.

Then we'll just have to mess up their aim, no?
She could already hear the sounds of arrow being nocked to bowstring, but as much as she'd love to try out what Paladin taught her yesterday, her hands were a little occupied at the moment.
You thinking what I'm thinking?

A grin played on Farskon's face, and he nodded. He raised his hands, and shouted. "caecus!" "caecus!" "caecus!". Over a dozen times. He panted; from overworking his limited, but they had enough time to burn down this watch tower.

You okay, Farskon? Scribbler took the chance to land the both of them into a tree, immediately hiding their presence with another bubble of ink. Almost unconsciously, she started feeding energy through the link, pulling up whatever she had and lending it to the paladin. Two more, right?
She froze as footsteps approached the tree.

The uniformed Soulless one's passed by
One more actually, we need to burn this one now though.
Farskon held in a series of coughs.
I'm okay.....so how do we burn this one down?

While they're still blind, same deal.
She was running out of pages, but still pulled out two bows from the book along with some unmarked arrows. Another page held little flames, and she affixed one on each arrowhead. One bow was offered to Paladin.
How good is your aim?

((Back!))
Emma materialized out of the air, hitting the ground running. She blinked in surprise at the sight she was met with, confused but ready for battle.

Farskon paled. He was the worst shot in his eyes. Many people say he couldn't hit the back side of a stationary truck. He took the bow, and arrow. And knocked it in place. He aimed, and the arrow whizzed over the watch tower.
He groaned, and then saw Emma.
Looks it's Auntie! Maybe she'll be able to send fire inside the watch tower!
