"These are my special dishes." She paused slightly. "Chloe loves these plates almost as much as her passion for Nature." Her smiled began to fade slightly. "She's such a hard-working girl, and yet she has so little. If only the good Lord would lend us a helping hand." She placed a single frail hand upon her face, covering her lips and chin. "Please..." Her voice weak. "Do help protect my Little Angel." Her own charcoal brown eyes glanced in his direction. *he stared for a second, unsure if he had heard her right, when her expression didn't change, he nodded* I will do what I can *he vowed, then he began heading upstairs, calling over his shoulder* thank you for the pie, it was delicious "Your quite welcome." She smiled again, her voice semi-fading as he headed up the ladder.
Meanwhile, up in the attic, Chloe was blowing into an air mattress for Sabin, her cheeks red. Blowing, blowing into the mattress seemed to be doing absolutely nothing. Sighing, she set the piece down, and stared at the limp thing. "If only we owned a pump..." She said to herself. *Sabin walked into the room* need any help? *he asked her* Turning to face Sabin, she was almost a bit shocked at how quickly he had eaten her piece of pie. "Erm...Not really...I think I can borrow a pump from the Neighbors if i asked nicely enough." She smiled wryly. "You can go back down stairs and eat more, if you want." Seeing how quickly he ate made her think horribly of his Father, and silently she wished the Heavens Wrath upon him. Standing up, Chloe dusted herself off, and sneezed a bit, from the invisible dust. don't worry about it *he said holding up a hand* I'm used to eating very little, and tonight I'm taking Steel to graze in a pasture I passed not far from the town, I'll probably sleep in the field and give him time to eat and run around, it's the least I can do for him, you are welcome to come if you want *he said, trying his best to smile* Chloe's wry smile became a full, real one. "Of course!...Urm...I mean...That sounds nice." She tried to sound un-excited about going to the Outdoors. Kicking the inflated mattress, she sighed. "I can always do that later..."

Walking over to Steel, Chloe softly stroked his mane, and gingerly jumped atop his back. "Ready when you are." Her voice held stillness, but hid egarness. best hold on tight *Sabin patted Steel's neck, a sign to get ready* it won't be the slow smooth ride from before, he's a demon when it comes to racing, first one to the river in the field wins *sabin leaned down and shifted the weight on his back, and gripped the music box carefully, but firmly* Go *he shouted, both him and the horse shot from the starting line, Steel getting ahead, but Sabin keeping pace not too far behind him, he smirked, he had never lost a race and he had no intention of doing so now* "Whoa!" The icy feel from the rushing world around her excited her. Feeling the rush of the wind whipping on her cheeks, her eyes watered a bit, but it only made the world icier. Gripping tighter, Chloe grinned, watching Sabin catching up. "Let's go." She whispered silently to Steel, hoping he would go a bit faster. *Sabin ran, reaching the horses side* That all you got *he taunted and Steel growled again, picking up speed and regaining his lead on Sabin* Chloe turned to Sabin, grinning from ear to ear. "Catch up now!" She shouted over the fast flowing wind. Her long chestnut hair whipped her face hard, pulling back once again after she faced forward. "We're gonna win!" She shouted to Steel, happily glancing back to Sabin, and then to the front. *Steels turned, looking at Sabin and reared back, jumping around wildly, his own version of taunting, Sabin rushed forward, catching up to the bucking horse*
