Woah, I'm in! Didn't notice that Soooo, yep. Japanese culture fascinates me and, frankly, I think their plants are prettier than ours (In the US) I have always loved the sakuya tree and the way japanese gardens are set up. Just in general, I find the Japanese culture very beautiful and incredible. I also love learning about different cultures and languages. :3

Konnichiwa, min'na! Genki desu? Atashi wa Nihongo ga manabemasu, demo, mada jozu ja arimasen. (Hello everyone! How are you? I am studying Japanese, but I am not very skilled yet. I hope I am saying all of that right. >///<)
Please call me Akira. Anyway, I'm a new member, interested in all things Japan--food, culture, music, technology, language.... you name it. I am working on learning Japanese, and hope to visit there in about five years and possibly live there, if I don't like South Korea better. Oh yeah, and I am American.
Yoroshiku!

Konnichi wa! Namae wa Jojo desu! smile I've taken a year of Japanese and lived in Japan for 4 years. I LOVE IT! There are very few things about Japan that I dislike. I love the culture, towns, cities, mountains, AH! EVERYTHING!! biggrin soooo awesome! I'm also into anime though I don't watch many shows (I usually watch more movies). I am hoping to improve my Japanese a bit.... ^.^ would be good smile

Konnichiwa! Watashi wa Aurora desu. And that's about all I can say in Japanese. Though I'm still learning. I have to go over my katakana and my hiragana. Other than that Japanese culture interests me so much... Well any culture other than American xp does... But those that have more ancient roots like Japan, China, India, and more... ninja

I'm Jo and I'm 23. I've been interested in Japan since I was like 10, but never studied it because it seemed like people would dislike me if I did and my family didn't really encourage it. I never liked anime or anything, just the music, so I didn't really start learning anything until a year or so ago when I decided that I wanted to do it too badly to let other people say it was stupid and stop me. I studied archaeology in university and hated it, so now I'm taking Japanese classes at the community college and would like to go over to teach english as a second language. There's always been Japanese and teaching on my mind since I was young, so I'm thinking that's what I'm supposed to do! I only know the basics, and there are no Japanese where I live so I don't have anyone to practice with. I read and write Hiragana, but the others I'm still working on. Is that a good enough introduction? I'm addicted to japanese dramas...and also the bands Rentrer en Soi/Satsuki and LM.C. Whoo~!

Hi! I am studying Japanese right now! Have been on and off, I know hiragana and kata (though I am kinda awful at kata) and learning some kanji! I am a manga/anime fan, but I love the culture as well!
I look forward to learning with everyone!

わたしわヌイです。 よろしくおねがいします! わたしわにほんがすきです。 (Konnichiwa, watashi wa Nuit desu. Yoroshiku onegai shimasu!) I am 20 years old and I have had a passion for Japan and its culture/language my entire life. I'm currently taking online lessons with a native japanese speaker and it is so much fun. I know hiragana, but my katakana is just awful, I know that. I don't claim to know a lot of japanese, but I'd say that I know a good amount. I am always open for constructive critisism and learning something new. Live and learn I say. :3 And likewise, if you'd like some help from me, I would be more than happy to oblige. <3 Thank you for your time reading this! ありがとございまして!
