"Well I don't really need those... right now." She said, finishing the sentence after he closed the door. She sighed turning back to the food, she stirred the soup and chopped the soft meat with her spatula, flipping over the smaller pieces. She took out some vegetable oil and set it next to the tortillas. Delsath seemed to smile at Shadow. He butted his head playfully at him, nipping at his paws.

Shadow barked happily and playfully tackled the other male and yelped in suprise as Aiko pounced both of them, her tail wagging happily. Raven smiled and looked at the cubs, "good their getting along now." she thought aloud then looke over at Skara. She tilted her head, watching with slight coriosit, no one had really cooked in here sence her mother died. She sighed and looked down at her feet, now missing her mother.

Delsath got knocked onto his back, he laid there for a second before launching his own attack on Aiko. "Yes, they are." Skara agreed. She stirred the soup one more time before moving it to the back burner. She turned the heat down on the burner that the soup was on and took out a pan. Skara paid close attention to the hamburger, flipping it over often, until it was cooked thoroughly. She then moved it to the other back burner, and turned off the burner it was on. Setting the pan that she was holding onto the counter, she turned to look over at Raven. Seeing how depressed Raven seemed she went over to her and hugged her. Letting go of her and smiling she said "Cheer up, okay?"

Marie walked deeper into the forest keeping a look out for any deer but she did not see any just yet so she continued walking. After a while she figured the must be hiding, deer were smarter then they looked most of the time. Marie found a tree with branches lower to the ground and pulled herself up letting one foot hang off of the end of the branch and leaning her back against the trunk. She breathed in the cool air and waited. The forest seemed unusally quiet.

Raven smiled slightly and nodded, "yeah, ok." she replied then looked at the cubs. She smiled once more seeing that they were getting along well. Aiko yelped in suprise when Delsath attacked her, shee turned and ran around Raven and into the living room and behind one of the couches and poked her head out from behind one of the sides. Shadow looked from Aiko to the other male slightly confused then looked up when Aiko backed playfully at them.

Marie heard a branch snap and broke out of her day dream. She looked around and saw a deer that had stepped on a branch. "Finally," She sighed and gently slid down off the side of the branch she was sitting on and landed on her feet. Marie figured she would have to pounce and bite it quickly before it rain so she did. Then the blood quickly filled her mouth, Marie pulled away laying the deer down on the ground to rest. She didn't drink enough to kill it so it should revive if it rested. Marie stood up and wiped her lips with her sleeve and began to head out of the forest back towards Kai's home.

Kai let out a sigh of frustration as he walked out of the store bags in his hands, "i come back, not even home for an hour and she makes me go get food." he mumbled shaking his head. He looked up as he got closer to the house, "hm something smells good." he thought as he walked towards the front door.

Delsath followed Aiko to the doorway, returning her playful bark. Skara smiled happily at Raven before rushing back over to the stove. Setting the pan on the burner that was still on she poured some oil into it. She waited a couple of minutes before opening the package of tortillas. Taking one out she set it in the oil which immediately started bubbling, a little of the hot oil flew out of the pan.

As Marie reached the edge of Kai's lawn she saw him reach the door carrying grocery bags. Marie walked towards him. "Hi!" Marie smiled feeling full, and a lot better. "Here, let me help with that." She said as she took two bags from his hands.

Kai looked at Marie for a second before opening the door and letting her walk in then closed the door when she walked in. He walked into the kitchen and glanced at Raven then at Skara, "Smells good Skara." he told her putting the bags on the counter then took the ones from Marie and placed them next to the others.

Marie looked up at Kai she thought she saw him look at her but she wasn't really paying much attention. He opened the door and let her walk in first. She followed him into the kitchen and he took the bags from her and put them down. "Would you like me to put the grocerys away..?" She asked.

before Kai could respond Raven went over to the bags and started taking the stuff out, "nope i got it!" she repiled with a slight smile. she started putting the items where they belong and then looked at Kai, "show her her room." she told her brother with a frown then looked at marie. "you still need new clothes dont you?" she asked tilting her head slightly.

Marie nodded and said "Okay" as Raven began to put the groceries away. Raven then looked at Marie and asked her if she needed new clothes. She looked down at herself, "Well I guess so.." She even more dirt then before on her clothes from being in the forest.

"Thank you." Skara replied, thanking him for both the compliment and for going and getting the food. She opened a drawer and took out a spatula, quickly flipping the tortilla over. Setting the spatula down for a second she pulled out six plates from the cupboards as well as a small washcloth. Setting the dishes near the stove she put the rag on the top plate and took it off the stack. Picking up the spatula with her other hand she scooped the tortilla out of the pan and put it on the plate she was holding.

Raven nodded and looked back at Skara, "after we eat we're going to take her shopping for clothes" she told the older woman with a smile then looked at Kai, "and you cant come!" she told her brother. She then turned her gaze towards Marie, "so what exactly do you wear?" she asked tilting her head slightly. Kai looked at Raven and shook his head, "well why dont you go take a shower Marie, Raven would be more then happy to find you something to wear, that way you dont have to go around in the same clothes till you go get some more." he said. Raven looked at Kai then at Marie once more, "come on, I'll show you to your room." she told her, walking over to the woman and pulled on her hand lightly.
