Garrick grinned and wiped his face on his sleeve. "Ada," he said, turning to Lore, "Mama stiww s'eeping? Wake Mama? P'ay a'side?"

Elrohir smiled back at Kara. "Aye, you don't have to worry about our safety, at least not now. I'm sure everything will be fine."

"That's a relief to hear, though its going to seem strange with not as many people about..."

Well she was sure she wouldn't notice too much because she was always off visiting someone, though she didn't want to go out in the cold with the twins, and it was harder to travel with both twins.

"Mom," Toshiro spoke up, "I was thinking going to visit Ulrich, my staff is uhm... way too small. If you want, we can bundle up the twins and you can visit too."

If everyone else was going to be asleep he'd imagine it was going to be very boring for her.

Kara nodded she didn't know who Jasmine was but she could understand the worry about being in the middle instead of being near one group or another especially now.

"Of course," Kara replied with a smile, "We'll drop by there first, is it hard to spot?"

"I'll walk with you," Elrohir told Kara, "just in case. I know we'll probably be fine, but after sending everyone off ... I'm feeling a little edgy. I don't think it would be a good idea for anyone to go anywhere on their own right now. It's also a little hard to spot if you don't know where it is, so that way you won't get lost either." He paused and looked around. "Perhaps when Aerin returns I'll ask her to stay with Alyse until Timaeus gets back."

Haradhel smiled at Lore. "Of course," she nodded. "Go ahead, we'll be fine until you get back."

Kara nodded she could understand that, this had been the most Haven had been unprotected ever, and there were far more people in the valley now than there had been in the past so more people to worry about.

"Thank you," Kara looked up at Toshiro, "Could you get the extra blankets from my bag Toshi? Once we have the twins wrapped up we can go then."

"Right...." Toshiro nodded as he got up and sprinted up the stairs after Lore to get what was requested.

It only took a few more minutes of waiting, and several more minutes of dressing the children for the colder weather, or swaddling them in Kara's case. While Lore ushered his children out the door to play, Kara was ushering Toshiro out so they could go make their visits. Toshiro entrusted in carrying one all the way since he was bigger now, and Kara carried the other twin.

"Chilly.... but it's almost like home," she murmured.

After all home should be getting snow soon too.

Kara thought about it, she hadn't stayed here as long as say Elnara, and Lore but she had a rough idea of what the weather was like here.

"I think so... well not the exact same seasons, but I think it's more that there's no such term for two of your seasons back home. So we tend to only group it into four seasons, Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter."

They didn't have such an exact away for naming seasons it seemed and even then not everyone called it Fall. Some people like Donovan called it Autumn instead.

"But I think the weather here in the Borderlands is very similar to back home, with the exception with the amount of snow. We get snow, but no where near as much as of what I've heard from others who've been here during the Winter."
