"Mm well I have something you could eat" Kyle teased sticking his tongue out at the boy. "Its got a tasty cream filling to" He laughed adding to his tease.

Hale smirked and laughed softly as he shook his head. "Your such a goof." he mumbled as he leaned up against the back of the booth. After about five minutes a sever came with their food and set it down along with their drinks. "Yay food!" He cheered quietly and started to eat.

"Im serious" Kyle said looking at the boy. Once the food came he started eating. "Wow its really good" He said as he ate.

Hale's eyebrow rose as he listened to Kyle while sipping his drink. "Mm yeah it is. Have you tried Calamari before?" he asked softly and looked up to Kyle while dangling a small octopus from his fork. "There good." he said and chcukled.

"EWWW" Kyle said looking at what the other was eating. "Are you seriously going to eat that?" He asked making a sour face at the food. He jumped seeing the octopus curl up some. "ITS STILL MOVING" HE said pointing at the food and moving as far away as he could from it. KYle was rather girly.

Hale burst out laughing and set his fork down while he covered his mouth. He couldn't believe Kyle had just said that. The boy took a few deep breaths as he tried to stop laughing and sighed. "Oh my gosh, wow." he mumbled and shook his head. "And no I'm not going to eat it." he mumbled and set it down off to the side. "I got it to see what you'd do." he said and chuckled. He started to pick at his rice now a smirk crossing onto his lips.

"DONT LAUGH!" Kyle pouted throwing a small piece of cooked beef at the other. "Your a jerk" He said crossing his arms over his chest and looking away. A light blush played on his cheeks. "Good luck getting me to change my mind about kissing you again" He said not looking at the other now. He didn't notice the still alive octopus now making its way over to his side of the table. within a minute he jumped up and screamed as the thing landed in his lap. He ended up falling out of the booth as well and backing up as far as he could till he hit the wall. the few people in the restaurant now staring at the boy. Kyle quickly got up running to the bathroom and hiding in the stall. He was embarrassed.

"Aw Kyle come on I'm only playing, plus I didn't know that the damn thing was going to be alive." Hale whined. "I'm sorry." he added and looked at the boy apologetically. He quietly went back to eating when the boy didn't say anything back and sighed. When Kyle suddenly screamed and flipped out he jumped and almost knocked his drink over. He picked the octopus up and set it back on the table and was about to ask if Kyle was ok when the boy ran off. He sighed and followed in after. "Kyle...are you ok?" he asked softly.

"No" Kyle mumbled. He had his face hidden in his hands. "That was so embarrassing.." HE mumbled thinking of how stupid he looked getting scared about the little tentacle monster. "Im scared of things with tentacle's" Kyle admitted bitting his lip. Hale would be able to get into the stall if he pushed on the door. Kyle had not locked it.

Hale sighed as he walked over to the stall Kyle was in and lightly pushed the door open. He moved in and hugged the boy kissing the top of his head. "I'm sorry, I didn't know." he mumbled softly. "But it's alright, come on we all do silly stuff from time to time. Some, like me, more than often." he said and smiled warmly.

"I dont want to go back out there" Kyle said hugging the other tightly. "Im sorry I ruined our lunch.." Kyle added thinking of how much of a fool he must seem to the other now.

"Oh come now you didn't ruin our lunch. You just made it more exciting." Hale said and chuckled as he held Kyle close. He sighed and picked the boy up before sitting down and holding him in his lap. "Well then you want to just wait it out in here for a little bit then get it to go?" he asked softly.

"As long as that creepy tentacle monster doesn't come with us" He said shuttering at the thought. He leaned up kissing the other softly, a hand running threw the boys hair. He really was sorry for the whole incident.

"Promise he wont." Hale said as he held Kyle close. He quickly returned the kiss and smiled in it. "I thought you said you wouldn't kiss me anymore." he mumbled puling only just slightly from the kiss before pecking Kyle on his lips.

"shut up" He said kissing the other again. He always made threats like that but never obeyed them. "Your kisses make me feel better" He admitted blushing slightly.
