Annie ducked, she grabbed the guard's arm, as her fingers gripped his arm, the water in the guard's body started to change into acid. The Southerner wasn't even thinking straight at that moment, all she knew is she had to protect herself and her friends. She did know that grabbing the one guard's arm was a lucky grab, but she was going to bluff, she really didn't want too hurt anyone but it looked as if she had to.
"Seriously," she said letting go of the guard as he screamed in horror. "Look the only reason Charles Ray and his guards were able to catch me in the first place was that I allowed it. This time is different: I'm not going to allow you to capture me."
Truth be told, if many more guards attacked like the one just did, she would be up the creek without a paddle. After all, she was strong, and luck was on her side for now, but it wasn't going to last. She felt herself catch her breath, she was slowly beginning to tire. Things were not going to be looking good soon for her...

Garret had his back turned as the gaurd almost smasked him with his baton, he didn't have any time to react before annie grabbed the man's arm and he was on the ground. "Thanks annie.." He looked at her, then at the other few gaurds behind Annie and Garret. Adrenaline rushed into his blood at that moment and he felt full control of his power. Garret sent a volley of shards at their pursuers in a flat arc, pinning them to the walls and ground by their clothing.
He grabbed one of the men by his collar and iced over his hand, then punched him in the gut. "I'll let you live if you take us to our friend!" Garret needed to say something that would scare him into doing what they needed, It hasn't in him to kill anyone. But his face showed otherwise; his brows knit together in anger, and the tight grip on the mans collar was also meant to intimidate. Those acting class he took were finally paying off.

Gasping for air, the guard coughs a bit before managing to speak. "The only one of us that has a clearance is on the ground by your friend. You'll need fingerprints, a retinal scan, and the card he has on him."
The guard in question goes into convultions and vomits a mix of bodily fluids as his organs are disolved. His eyes roll back into his skull as they begin to melt as well. His thrashing is soon over as he releases a death rattle and falls limp. One of the guard's pinned to the floor shouts hysterically at Annie, "Jesus Christ, what the hell is wrong with you?! You F*ing melted his organs you twisted b***h!"

Annie seemed to snap out of her trance and gasped in shock, "Oh my God..." Her eyes were wide in shock and she took a deep breath, and tears were in her eyes. It was amazing what someone was able to do in a situation, and she was capable of quite a bit. As fiercely as her onslaught of acid had become it ended.
Anything that she had changed to acid was now just water once again. She grabbed the railing of the stairs, dizzy and she said, "If you think Charles Ray is scary you have yet to understand the capabilities of Annabella Carina Soulsmith. Leave my friends alone, call off the attacks on us, Tansy and Anko, and tell the guards to release Gidget now, or so help me God each and every one of you will meet that man's fate."
Though her words were harsh, she wondered how many she meant, though she knew in many ways she did mean her words, and all the while she spoke angry, sorrowful tears of hatred were in her eyes. It was all Charles Ray's fault any of this had to happen.

The fourth guards shakes his head frantically, "You don't get it! Even if we all stop, your friend has made a small platoon of death machines."
Lower below the crash made by the robot facing off with Ako and Tansy is clearly audible to the guards and anyone by them. Their radios squeek with a warning, "All guards in the stairwell stay off of the 11th floor. A-0079 has been released. I repeat, A-0079 has been released."
More footfalls are heard from above Annie and Garret. Two other guards peeks over the side of the railing and begin firing crowd-control class bean bag rifles.

Ako gripped the robot's arms and tried to free himself, but ended up just trying to keep himself from being strangled by the grip on his collar. The robot's question surprised him more than the attack. He cleared his throat and answered, "Y-Yeah, who's askin'?"

"So let the death machines take care of us!" Annie snapped, angry. And then the volley of beanbag rounds started flying. Grabbing, Garret's hand, Annie led the way, jumping over the railing onto the next staircase and running down stairs some more.
Her ankle was killing her from the jump, and her shoulder as well, as she realized while on the move she had been hit in the shoulder. Her breath was ragged, and she was exhausted. It was a matter of time till they were caught.
"Garret, you go on ahead," Annie snapped. "I'll... I'll try to buy you some time."

A-0079 gently places Ako back on the ground before making a few more beeps and clicks. The voice returns "Facial structure and voice confirmed. Ako Riosu, the future husband of Princess Gidget." A compartment in his back opens up and brings a mechanical arm toward Ako. In the grip of the arm is something that looks like a large coffee can with a lightning rod in the center. On the other end is an opening. "Declaration: Princess Gidget wants you to have this. The item has been designated `The Tesla Cannon.` I have been instructed to inform you that it focuses and enhances your power."
It looks around then speaks again, "Inquiry: Where are Tansy Hinzard, Garret, and Annabella Soulsmith? Urgent statement: I am supposed to take the four of you to Princess Gidget."

Curiouser and curiouser Ako thought. He carefully took the cannon, rolling it in his palm as he heard the rest of what the robot had to say. "Tansy ran ahead to find Gidget, Garret and Annie are upstairs holding off the guards. Wait, did you say 'Princess Gidget?' and what's this about me being her future husband?"
The sound of gunfire from upstairs made him realize the questions were stupid. "Quick, tell me how to use this thing."

The robotic arm retracts into A-0079's back. "Instruction: Place non-dominant arm into the Tesla Cannon. Grip the coil in the center as you would a bicycle handle or weight. Concentrate electrical field into the Tesla Cannon. Squeeze the index trigger located on the coil once to arm the Tesla Cannon. To discharge stored energy, squeeze the index trigger again. Size and impact of the beam is dependant on the amount of energy stored into the coil. Warning: This Tesla Cannon was built in haste and is still in it's beta stages. A one minute cooldown time is required between discharges. Rapid discharges may result in critical meltdown, causing an explosion that has a kill radius of fifty meters. More if there is stored energy still within the coil."
The rods in it's pauldrons retract into it's shoulders. It looks down at Ako. "Warning: Princess Gidget no longer has control over her power and is producing assult droids for Charles Ray. Urgent request: Please return to assisting Tansy Hinzard. I will acquire Annabella Soulsmith and Garret. Cautionary statement: Princess Gidget is in the center of this floor, and so is Charles Ray. Polite Request: Please wait for me to return with Annabella Soulsmith and Garret before confronting Chalres Ray."

Garret gave annie a tight hug. "Don't do anything stupid. Please be careful." He discarded a few more of the home made acid bombs in her jacket pockets and continued down the steps.
[{ OOC lol im a little confused on which way we all went, up or down, XD but since the 0079 is higher up is he going to catch up?? lol I know it seems like a stupid question but I need to be a little more clear on this.}]

At least this is how I've come to understand it. I'm going to retcon the riot shield guards as having come from the 10th floor just after Ako and Tansy passed it. That should help clear up some things I hope.))

Ako nodded, understanding the instructions and warnings. The news of Gidget worried him. If she wasn't in control, who knows what she'd come up with? He thanked the robot and turned to run after Tansy.

A-0079, after having been unlocked by Ako's electric pulse, is now fully aware of what it's directive is. After Ako leaves two compartments open on the lateral sides of it's legs, revealing what looks like small engines. Showing no restraint for the structure of the stairwell, it ignites the engines and erupts upward through the opening in the center of the stairwell. It halts abruptly in front of Garret and scans his face. Again it asks, "Inquiry: Is your name Garret?"
