"Maybe jstu walk..." She said softly, thinking only for a moment. "I want to see everything again...." She smiled up at him. "Unless you have something you want to do...I can check things out on my own if you're busy..." She offered, giving him a sweet kiss on the corner of his mouth.

"Darling, how could I have time for anything else but you?" The business calls, everything, it could just wait. If she wanted to walk, then they would walk. It was as simple as that.
"I've missed you so... and now that I have you again, I refuse to abandon you when you need me."

Raquel smiled, leaning up to kiss him sweetly. "You're a dove, dove..." She scrunched up her nose, trying to perk up a bit. Maybe acting the part would lift her up even.
"How have things been going for you? Like...With the house and vineyards, financial, all that jazz..." She reached for the cup he had, and pulled him gently around so his back was to her. Leaning against the back of the tub so she could keep her torso relaxed, she pulled damian into her, in sort of a cradling position so she could rinse his hair. "Just fill me in on what I've missed..." she spoke softly, kissing away a little bit of suds on his ear.

This was what he missed, so much. Someone loving him. Just someone to hold him when he wouldn't admit he needed it most.
"The house is fine. Nothing needs taking care of. The vineyards have been slowly revitalized, mostly by Nat and myself when I was motivated to go out. I paid him quite well for his troubles, though. He deserves every credit... Financial, I went back into trading. Invested in a few things that took right off and everything is fine... regained everything lost like it never happened and then some."
He was a Centurion, after all. What he lacked in emotional capacity sometimes, he made up for tenfold in his ability to read the stocks and figures.
"It was mostly watching the world go by. Watching Lorey and Richard take off, watching Nat and Teagan come together... I would take walks and read. Play music when I could, but nothing truly exciting. I did start saving funds for Lorey's baby, though. I thought that, should anything happen, my gift was to make them secure. And so I did. That is really all."

Raquel smiled distantly as she poured the water gently over his head, careful not to let it run into his face, even gently massaging his scalp as she listened intently.
"I'm so glad... Its just nice hearing how lovely things have been...I cant wait to dive in myself..." She smiled trying hard to stay optimistic. What good would it do if she became sad or bitter that she missed out on so much? Yes she did have reason to be mad. It wasnt like she could say she got a year to grow herself... But still...
She had to keep looking towards the future. Keep thinking of all the possibilities to be gained, not the ones lost...she would surely lose her sanity if she didn't.
"As For the baby... That was wonderful of you darling..." She soothed, nuzzling his neck. "They're very lucky to have you... I mean someone who cares enough about them to think about their childs future... Like their family." She smiled though it faded as she thought a moment. "What do you mean though, 'should anything happen'?" She inquisited out of curiosity.

"You know, if Lorey has any medical complications, if there is ever an accident... it is always the unfortunate things that send people into financial mayhem. I would never want their relationship to be strained or having them plunged into debt because of something they were not prepared for."
It was a foreboding way to look at things, but life was unpredictable, and Damian did not want Richard and Lorey to be ruined the way he had. Money could not solve his problems, though, however much he had.
"But it is also for their education, anything they might need... Those two have been through so much that of course they will want their child to have a better life from the get go."
He wondered what his parents wanted for him. Like Lorey, Damian was detached from anyone who would give him support merely by being blood relatives. It was a terrible feeling, but now that he had Raquel again, that void was beginning to fill.

Raquel smiled, giving him a slight hug from her position, resting her head on his shoulder.
"...You'd make a wonderful father Damian...You're wise, careful, protective, loving....And so much more..." She smiled, her lips brushing his skin slightly at the thought of Damian with his own child, playing care freely, tucking him into bed, even singing them to sleep. It was a beautiful thought.
Though strangely enough, she didnt sound sad about it. Raquel didnt seem like she was depressed over the fact she knew she apparently couldn't bare children. She had told herself long ago that yes it was sad and would always be frustrating or disappointing, but there were other ways. That if things had stayed normal, Damian and her may have gotten married, and eventually looked into some way of obtaining a child of their own.. it would have happened...and maybe it still could if they could just work through this shock and trauma.

"To be honest, I do not want to have children for awhile yet... But I am glad you think so."
Damian craned his neck back to kiss hers, also thinking about how she wasn't able to have children. But they had just returned to something normal! How could they think about having a family when they couldn't get themselves together?
"Do you want to get out soon and walk?" he asked. "Whatever you wish. I think I could fall asleep like this if you don't force me into the outside world."

"I must admit...I'm rather comfortable myself..." She murmured into his ear with a little kiss. "Though I do think we are starting to get soggy." She grimaced with a funny face as she gave him a little hug.
"So if you'd like we could getout, or just sepnd the entire day becoming prunes...either way..." She smiled sweetly.

Damian sighed, and seemed lost in his thoughts for a moment before hoisting her right out of the water to set her on the side of the tub.
"Then we must go outside walking to prevent ourselves from becoming prematurely wrinkled."
He kissed her cheek and stepped out of the water himself, soon wrapping himself in a towel and using another to dry his hair.

Raquel smiled distantly aftr he had gotten out, reaching for her own towel. "Now we wouldnt want that...even though they'd most likely make you even more sophisticated nad dashing..." She winked at him drying her hair a bit. "Like they say, men, like wine, are better with age..." She smiled, though knowing she and damian were both far from that... even though... Damian was looking more worn. His eyes were so sad around the edges, much like Richards were when they had first. He looked emotionally aged, emotionally worn... It broke her heart...
BUt trying not to let her thoughts bring her down, she stood, wrapping the towel around her and coming up behind him to comb through his hair casually with her fingers. "By the way love...would you so happen to have a shirt or...or soemthing I could wear? I think my jeans will be fine though that shirt i wore here isnt in the best of shape..." She furrowed her brow, kissing his shoulder.

"Of course. Go through everything and see what you would like." She could wear his best business shirt for all he cared. Anything she needed was at her fingertips. "When you are ready, we'll go shopping for you and buy you everything you need."
He handed her a brush for her own hair and with his electric shaver began making himself more presentable. Though she may have liked the slightly rugged looking Damian, he preferred to be clean-shaven.
"Though I must say, Druis doesn't exactly have the selection that Veratia does. If you prefer to go back there for all you want, then we could also do that."

"Damian I'm possitive whatevers on this planet will be more than enough to ge me by..." She sighed, wanting to kiss him for being so ...Damian. She really hadnt even thought about veratia that much,...really she didnt want to go backthere....for some reason the idea of seeing her own grave unnerved her...
She combed through her hair and pulled away from the mirror to let him have at his stubble. "I'll go throw on something presentable alright darling?" She kissed his back, telling herself it'd be ok if they were seperated even for just a few seconds.
Raquel found her bra and jeans she had been wearing when she arrived, slipping them on as she made her way to Damian's large closet... She flipped thorugh the clothes just for a moment, jsut enjoying being surrounded by the familiar scent and feelings. Though after a moment of daydreaming, she picked and slipped on a rahter casual button up shirt, rolling up the sleeves to her elbows. Really she looked as if she had bought the look as is, instead of simply wearing her darlings clothes for lack of her own...
She came back into the bathroom, smiled and turned around for him. "What do you think?" She asked with a little shrug as she pushed her damp hair away from her eyes.

Damian had just finished shaving when she came back in the bathroom. Seeing her dressed nicely and smiling made him stop dead in his tracks, and he smiled so widely that he almost felt silly.
"Beautiful... you look beautiful."
She did look scrawny and needed fresh air, he could tell. But so did he. That would come later, though. Then, she was radiant and no one could tell him otherwise.
"Better than I would in that shirt."

That made her smile grow as a lsight blush crossed her face, making her seem healthier if just for a moment. She pushed her hair behind her ears like she did when she was embarassed or when he made her blush like he did. Things were already feeling normal again.
"Thank you...Though I must agree..." She smirked a little playfully. "You do look much better when you're not wearing this shirt..." She bit her lip as she gave him a loving little wink, taking him in wearing othing but a towel. Sure she had seen him shirtless, even nakid, many many times, though never realized how much she'd miss seeing just him, that it was a nice treat. He was indeed skinnier though not so much that it was sickly. No he had just returned to the centurion she met years ago...which was sad, though it did give them a chance for a fresh start...even though she knew very well she didnt want a new beginging...she wanted the old story....
