"I... Guess, but wouldn't that make me a cannable since that's partially what I am now?" Seto wondered, before starting to help Jou.

Jou shook his head. "No, not to eat. To grow. Autumn is harvesting time for apples, yes, but it's also the best time to plant. The seeds have time to get settled in until winter's passed, and by springtime they're ready to sprout. Though, considering how these seeds came about, they may act a little differently."

"Yeah, I guess you're right." Seto commented. "I don't know how I know that the fall is coming.... I just... Can feel it sort of." He stated.

"I guess it's just natural." He said with a grin. "No pun intended." Once the pots were filled he dug a small hole in the center of each and dropped in one of the seeds, carefully covering up each one with a layer of soft soil. After a few moments of hunting he found the watering can, but it was rusted and holy with neglect. With a shrug an an apologetic smile he ran back inside to find a glass.

"Hmm.... I hope you all grow up big and strong and healthy." Seto couldn't help but comment.

"I'm sure they will." Jou answered, coming back outside with a tall glass to water the little pots. "Just like their papa." He grinned and began to pour the water gently over the seeds. Suddenly a roar sounded from the house, barely recognizable as Jou's name, between the swearing. Jou winced and put down the glass. "Speaking of which..." He stood, leaving the glass and dusting off his jeans. "You stay out here," He said to Kaiba. "He just wants his breakfast. It'll only take me a minuet."

Seto couldn't help sighing as he settled onto the grassy lawn. Sighing as he felt helpless to do anything for the other really, he could feel the fall coming on and it felt almost like a train wreck that couldn't be helped.

Jou re-emerged a moment later, a large red mark burning on the side of his face, but not to worse for the wear. "Well, he's pretty much taken care of for the day." He said with a lopsided grin, sitting back down next to the plants, rubbing his face discreetly. "He'll sleep for moet of the moring, then he'll head out to the bar. So we shouldn't have to worry about it much. What do you feel like doing?"

"I don't know... I can't really 'go' anywhere in particular. stay here I guess? You have anything we could watch? Like a movie or something?" He wondered.

"Ehh, not really." Joey said apologetically, "Dad kicked in the TV a few months ago, then he fenced the VCR and most of the videos for beer money. But I think I have enough money we could go see a movie at the theater. As long as you don't mind Casablanca at the 50 cent theater."

How many people go there?" Seto questioned Jounouchi. He really did not want to get caught while he was still half- a tree.

"Me." He answered dryly. "Unless you count the hobos who go there to sleep. Its only got one screen, and there are only two guys on the whole staff, but it's pretty clean and the movies are ok, even if they're old."

"Okay then," He agreed. " He smiled, happy to get out of the yard though, he'd been stuck here too long.

"Still one problem though..." Jou sighed, eyes settleing at Kaiba's roots. "How will we get you there?"
