Azure felt better than she had in a long time. She sat with her head snuggled under Kuno's, listening to his heart beat- strong and smooth. Out of nowhere, she was reminded that he hadn't answered a question of hers. She hated to change the mood, but she was curious and thought it was a simple question. "So, why don't you like the water?"

"I'm just not a good swimmer." He answered honestly, curling his tail tighter. "Never was." He finished simply. There really wasn't much towards it. Yes, it was an acquired trait of his mother - as she didn't care for water either.

"Hm. Okay." Was her response. If he couldn't swim, it didn't change how she felt. She listened to his heart again, noticing how, slowly, hers changed to match the beat of his. "We are one." She said quietly, smiling confidently. Anyone whos hearts beat together must be made for each other.

Kuno smiled as she stated they were one. Two fleshes, one stunning love. He took a deep breath as the thought lingered in his mind. His tail was still resting against her in a way that warned any near by intruders he would protect her through anything.
(Do you want his mother to come on the scene - seeing as they are in the wild? If not, just say so. mad D)

Keera crouced down in a spot in the woods, intent on killing a small rabbit near by when she heard a strangely familiar voice. She rose and sat up, whispering angrily, "Kuno?" She stalked towards the voice and saw just who she thought - her son and apparently a little lover. She grunted, fluffing her perfect purple tail, and plopped down next to them. "It's been a while, son." she said, a low growl curdling in her voice.
Kuno, having the time of his life, was taken off guard when his mother made her presence known. As the words spilled from her mouth, his eyes widened as he swung around, using his tail to push Azure a bit away from the female before him. "I'm not your son anymore." He said coldly, glaring at the female who was, without hesitation, making advances toward him, her teeth bared.

Azure was happily in her own world when she heard a strange voice. Her eyes snapped open as Kuno pushed her away. "Son.." She said, still trying to grasp what had pulled her back. Watching the female closly, Azure stood, fur starting to bristle. 'This is the one who hurt Kuno.'

Keera smirked. "Oh sweetie, I'll always be your mommy." She mock-cooed, snapping at his ear, causing Kuno to wince in pain. "Still the same wimp I knew." she laughed, looking at Azure and starting to approach her before being cut off by Kuno. Keera scowled, but stated simply, "Picked up a lass, I see. Raised by humans at infancy as I can see." She chuckled, turning around, snapping at Kuno as she passed him briefly.
"Leave her out of this." Kuno snapped, his ear in great pain but he refused to let it show too clearly. "What do you want?" He growled, wishing she'd just go. As she responded, the words rang in his ear. 'I want to kill you, as I promised many moons ago.' Maybe he should've mentioned that to Azure. "Don't bother. I'm as dead to you as you are to me." he snarled, baring his teeth and allowing his fur to bristle.

Seeing her bite Kuno, Azure froze. 'She bit him. His own mother...' When he stepped in Keera's way she snapped out of her thoughts and held her head up, hiding her fear- which was more for Kuno's sake than her own. "I'm already part of this." She whispered to herself.

Keera frowned, "Oh, but knowing your alive doesn't help me ease my anger." She insisted, smirking at Azure with a knowing glare. She sensed the adrenaline - she knew she was scared. She shook her head and laughed. "Son, either you go," she paused and smiled, "Or she does." she motioned towards Azure.
Kuno tensed up. Azure wasn't apart of this. She wasn't anything to do with the past - only his present and future. 'If I have a future.' he took a breath and shook his head. "I can't let you do that. You can't touch her - I love her. And you can't hurt me, because I wouldn't leave Azure like that." He snapped, taking the chance to bite at her scruff, earing a high pitched yelp.

As Kuno attacked Keera, Azure's breath caught in her throat. 'What am I thinking? I don't know how to fight!' The most she had was a few scuffles as a child. She stood as she was, rooted to place.

Keera fought back, snarling loud and in a frightening tone. "What's wrong with you boy? Have you lost your mind?" She snapped, barely missing his throat as she went to bite him, only grabbing his leg for a second and a mouthful of dirt.
Kuno stared at his mother, adrenaline giving him energy to take her when she was face-first in dirt and flip her on her back, his mouth holding her down by the neck (in case you don't know - it's a sign of dominance). "Love made me lose my mind, yes." He mumbled into the female's neck, before biting hard onto it. He wanted to kill her but was scared to in Azure's presence. She didn't know about his murdering others before. He looked up at Azure - she looked a little scared. "Azure," he muttered through his mother's fur, "could you go up closer to the house? I'll be there in a second." He requested gently, ready to rid the world of a horrid accident.

"Kuno," Azure whispered. She knew she had to choose, and now. She shook her head, set her face. "No. You've got to do it, and I can't leave." If she was going to be with him, to love him wholey and truly, she had to know what he could do. Closing her eyes, she said plainly, "I love you. Always."

Keera was struggling hard, but at her aging state, wasn't anything compared to Kuno. "Please, don't." She stammered out, gasping for breath from his pressing bite, "I never should've abused you or your sister." she stated, pleading for life. "But don't kill me."
Kuno smiled at Azure, happy to hear her words. But at he went to break Keera's neck, the word 'sister' registered in his mind. "Where's my sister?" He asked, but Keera used the curiosity against him, trying to make him believe she could show him. He closed his eyes, deciding for the best of all moonlits, her death was dire. Taking a breath, he released her neck, pressed a paw on her body, grabbed her muzzle, swung it one way, then swung it the other much harder - breaking her neck and killing her instantly. He stared at the female coldly as her body fell limp.

"Sister?" Azure looked up, right as Kuno killed Keera. Strangly, she didn't feel much. She had expected something, not nothing. She closed her eyes again, realizing it wasn't nothing- it was relief. Though she had never met Keera, she had hated her. And now she was dead. Opening her eyes, she watched Kuno, allowing him to settle himself, prepared to go to him when he was ready.
