As Emily waited at the door she heard an odd noise. Turning around she saw a fast moving shadow in front of her. Before she could react, the being had already picked her up and deposited on top of the building across the street. "Great. Just great! Someone was watching me!". Emily prepared herself for a fight, gripping her knife in its sheath.

Katie continued to sit in the chair mostly observing though she decided to point something out to Colin, "You're giving more information away due to you're anger than I did out of amusement...." Other than pointing that out she appeared to have no intention of interfering, so long as it didn't get messy..

Emily watched the other person while preparing to jump behind a heating vent."I'm not going to make it in this cold much longer",she thought. She jumped behind the vent, making sure she had her knife out as she jumped. The storm was getting worse, visibility quickly deteriorating. Peeking from around the corner, she prepared to leap towards a fire escape on the opposite wall. " It's now or never",she said under her breath.

Now Jacqueline faced a dilemma as the wind began howling around her. She felt the wind chill her to the bone and the cold snow sting her face. This was bad, being unable to generate body heat, she would only get colder, but she wasn’t about to face a huge group of the very people she was sent to capture or destroy. But what choice did the basilisk girl have? But had the cat girl and the other seen her face entirely yet? The only half-breed she had engaged was the white wolf boy. Her breathing was growing heavy from her fight with him, and the factures her frail ribs suffered from the attack. She was growing tired from the cold, and her reptilian instincts were telling Jacqueline just to curl up in the snow and fall asleep. But she could not fail her mission, whether her superiors were with her or not, but she couldn’t attack the enemies on her own.
Gritting her teeth against the weather and her decision, Jacqueline approached the door and knocked.

'Great this storm is getting worse,I better get inside one of these buildings' Michal thought zipping his stealth coat and pulling on his stealth helmet. "This should keep me warm until I can get Inside" he said heading forward towards the group that terry was following, as he searched he saw the faint heat signature of a girl knocking on a door. he climbed off the building when he was half way down his hand slipped and he fell hitting the ground hard," oww" he practically yelled. then he stood up then walked over to Jacqueline slowly making sure it was safe."Miss are you doing ok? do you need any help?"he asked approaching her, his hand on his knife.

The sound of another person approaching her made Jacqueline tense instinctively as her hand went to the hilt of one of her daggers hidden beneath her coat.
Am I doing okay? Jacqueline thought at the man’s question. No, most certainly not. But she quickly turned her face down to the snow to avoid giving away any of her features, particularly those of her mouth, as she replied.
“I’ve got to get out of this storm,” she said in response, almost sleepily as her body continued to insist that she fall asleep. All of her body’s processes were slowing down, and Jacqueline found her vision blurring and things were hard to focus. She began swaying on her feet as she added, “I was wondering if I could get inside.”

Minutes later Emily was watching the door to the house she had knocked at earlier. She wasn't sure if she was followed or not, but her first priority was to get inside the house. As she was about to leave the allyway she was in, Emily noticed two people at the door of the house. Looking around the corner, she muttered "It's never easy".

"Well ma'am, I past a abandon house a while back if you want to go there?" Michal asked noticing her swaying. Then walking closer to her, and placing his hand on her shoulder. "I'll take you there if you like" he said picking her up into his arms, he said kicking the door trying to get someones attention, "I'll share my body heat with you so you can stay warm, ok".

Jacqueline had to get over her initial shock as the man picked her up and was about to swing her elbow into his nose when she found that she could hardly move. The weather was worse than her cold-blooded body could take, and the pain in her chest was making it harder for the basilisk girl to breathe. She tried to utter out a curse or a threat at the stranger but her voice barely came out in a choke. Dots swam in her vision before Jacqueline ever-so reluctantly slipped into unconsciousness in the stranger’s arms.

Michal looked around and then ran back towards the abandoned house he saw and kicked in the door, he turned and closed the door with his feet, then he walked to the second floor. He set Jacqueline down, took off his coat, then wrapped her tightly in the coat so she could warm up. Michal then looked around and found some wood from a partially collapsed wall and a lot of newspaper. he set up the wood and paper to start a fire in a 55 gallon drum that was cut in half, then he lit the papers with a lighter he carries around for this kind of thing and started a fire. then he sat down and pulled Jacqueline close to him so that they could both stay warm. now that he got a closer look at her seeing she was a half-breed, and had military dog-tags. he was confused a bit, so he unwrapped her from the coat, then took her weapons and set them on his other side under his helmet, before pulling the coat over both of them, pulling her close so she could absorb his heat, then falling asleep.

As Emily watched the woman collapse in the man's arms and walk off, she rejoiced. "About time", she thought, "I'm freezing out here!". Emily ran again to the door she had walked up to earlier. This time watching for anything suspicous, she knocked on the door once agian.

With Katie's ultra sensative hearing, she decided to find out who it was. "Well, I am going to answer the door... It's getting a little boring down here." She took precautions and seeing that it was clear she wasn't from the military she opened the door. "I'm sorry if we kept you waiting long.. I hope you didn't freeze too much." After the girl was inside she closed the door and locked it. "You're friend is downstairs.. right this way.." She had thought the girl was here to see the owner of the place..

As Emily was guided into the house she formulated a plan. "Time for the sympathy act",she thought. Taking in the warmth she sighed. "Oh thank you. I don't think I could last much longer out there", Emily said. "It's very cold out there!!!". Then it hit her. "Wait... friends? What friends?", she queried.

"Eh.. you are not friends with the owner of this home..?" Katie looked slightly confused. Though she had not grown up in a house she had read enough books to know etiquettes of civilians. She lead her down to the basement where the others were.
