Somewhere off in the distance a spirited blue flame sprite seemed to dance on a nearby breeze. The breeze would smell lightly of cherry blossoms and orchids. The breeze seemed to guide the sprite towards some desolate nearby shrine for travelers lost to the mountain. The flame sprite touched down in front of this shrine and glimmered gleefully for a few seconds and exploded into a raging dark azure flame. Soon a shadowy figure appeared within the fire shaded from view by the flames. The flames seemed to dissipate and as they slowly became lifeless Raubahn Anzan could slowly become visible. The breeze that seemed to guide the flame sprite lightly touched the area and as it disapeared two ANBU black ops members slowly materialized into view. Shisui Anzan and Shif Kenkomishi stood from their kneeling position and Shif let out a small "Khef" as he smirked and Shisui seemed to sigh as the Kenkomishi showed his emotions behind his masked face.

"You know, no one really cares around here if you let them know what facial expressions are showing behind your mask." Shisui stated seemingly rolling his eyes behind the gleeful seeming kitsune imprinted upon his mask.

"Oh i know" Shif paused "I just know it bugs you when i do that" Shisui let out a small giggle like noise as he stared towards Raubahn who seemed mesmerized at the traveler's shrine. "Old man, whats so interesting about this run down shrine?" Shif seemed to ask in all seriousness.

"Heh,nothing much" Raubahn stated his eyes seemingly betraying his nostalgic memories of the shrine"Just that thisis the shrine I and another Anzan passed when we where first journeying to Otogakure." Raubahn sighed a bit as he remembered that trip. The moment passed as he seemed to be rather negligent to share anymore details of that trip with the two ANBU.

Next thing Miyako needed to do was work on weapons and such for her puppet. She grabbed a long piece of metal and went to her father's forge. It wasn't very large so crafting any large weapons was out of the picture. It was mostly used to help with frame work in furniture. If she wanted to craft weapons she would have to go to a real forge. For now, this would work for her puppets. If she were to make a metal puppets, that would be a different story as well. She placed the end of the metal scrap into the fire and waited for it to be red hot. Once it reached that point, she pulled it out, wearing the gloves, and began pounding it into a flat surface. She would use that side as a base for the blade.

She brought the hammer up and continued pounding out the flat end, but after a few times the end curved the wrong way and then it wasn't flat anymore. She had to stick it back into the fire to get it white hot to pound it back into place. Looking at it through her googles, she could see the waves in it. She had a while to go before it would be done. She placed it in water to cool it off and set what she had done before placing it back into the embers.

She pulled it out of the fire and raised her hammer again on the small anvil. The hammer struck the red hot metal and sparks flew out as the ping rang throughout the work area. She looked down at it and there were still plenty of ridges in the metal. She sighed and placed it back in water and then the embers to heat back up.

Miyako pulled it out and began hammering away. The metal must have been worn out because after a few strikes it completely broke off. Luckily there was still much of the 'blade' to be worked on. She placed the metal straight into the embers this time getting it back up to the right temperature. Phew I'm sweating in places I didn't even know could... But the physical work is good for me.

She pulled out the blade and pounded it out on the small anvil and eventually she had managed to get a flat surface. She placed it in the water and listened to it sizzle and set itself. The next step was to drill holes into the wood and the blade so as to put in a few bolts to attach it to the puppet's arm. This puppet was going to be badass.

Once the metal had cooled down she grabbed a drill and turned the handle to spin the drill. She managed to get in three holes through the metal and decided that should be enough to keep the blade attached to the arm without having to worry about it being broken off. At least she would have her repair kit with her in case things got a little messy.

Next she went to the puppet and opened up the arm compartment and maneuvered past the wires. She found the safest spot to drill holes, however she would need a short drill bit to prevent damaging the wires. She would kill herself if she had gone through all that work to have it break before she could even use it.

She then began looking for a smaller bit, but she couldn't find one among the other drill bits. At least not on safe enough to use. Maybe he doesn't have any that short and that large. I may just have to cut it out by hand after making it as big as I can with one of these. She grabbed one of the other drill bits and attached it to the drill. I really hope this goes well...

Miyako drilled into the arm and after doing so she took her knife and cut away at the holes making them bigger to fit the bolts that she would use. Once they were large enough, and the wires beneath were still intact, she went to the metal blade and began filing it down to make it look more blade like. Once it looked more appealing, she polished it up to make it shine.

She placed the metal blade to the arm and lined up the holes. She placed a washer on both sides of the bolt to prevent any wear and tear to the wood. Tightening it up she closed the arm compartment and looked at the arm. She moved it around and it seemed to do the job. Onto the next task then... This will be awesome!

Next Miyako wanted to reinforce the limbs to create an extendable arm to wrap around her target and hold him/her in place. It could prove to be helpful especially when they would need to get information out of them. She pulled out her paper and pencil and went to designing. She scribbled a plan on the page, but all it was were scribbles.

In order for itt to work she would need to create a sliding mechanism to make it extend, and there couldn't be anything else attached to it, so the blade arm was out of question. She did think it would be kind of entertaining making the legs as such.

She would go with it, but she couldn't start without a plan. She drew a little more on the page, but all that seemed to show up was a long foot. It didn't seem to help her at all. Cartoon pictures wouldn't help her here, all it gave her was what she already had, the idea of making the limbs. She took her eraser to the page and erased all the unnecessary drawings.

She started from scratch. She would take parts of what she had and make cylinders from it and then place some kind of stretchy material between each one. At the end of each cylinder she would cut a grove to serve as a locking mechanism she could use with a twist of a finger to unlock. She could picture it all in her head.

She decided to get to work. She began looking for some material to place in between her pieces of wood. She found some type of leather and decided it would be good enough to use as well as strong enough to hold them. She went to take the legs off but they were stuck. She pulled and pulled but there was no give.

Miyako finally, after minutes of pulling on the legs had got them to pop off. At least she knew she did it right the first time. With the legs now detached she set about breaking the joints apart. once that was complete she grabbed a nearby saw and began her dissection. With the leg pieces she had, she would create multiple sections as well as cutting smaller pieces to elongate them further to wrap around a person.

She grabbed the first leg and saw both pieces into thirds. She cut a grove into each piece being sure to give a notch in order to create a locking mechanism. With this the legs could still look like legs and be as sturdy, without having them loosely flying around. With the grooves cut she grabbed the pieces of leather and cut small strips to staple to the inside of each piece.

She then grabbed a piece of wood to place in between each section of the leg. Cutting each piece smaller than the hollow portion of the leg itself it easily slid into the inside of the leg. She then attached the those pieces to the leather of each section and in doing so created an elongated leg.

She followed suit with the remaining leg, cutting each section in half, attaching leather to each side, cutting smaller sections, and placing it back together. She looked at the elongated legs and nodded. They were excellent and ready for battle. She picked up the first leg and began connecting the different pieces together until it looked like it did before. She was a pro.

Miyako decided to place another blade onto the other arm. If she wanted to she could always change it up. That was the best thing about puppets. They were instruments of war that you could change however you wanted them at almost anytime, as long as you had the tools and resources. She grabbed another piece of metal and set it into the small forge. When it was red hot she brought it out and began hammering.

She cooled it off and placed it back into the embers. When it was white hot she pulled it out and set it on the anvil. She began hammering it flat with sparks flying everywhere. Luckily she was only working on a small part or a few of the sparks would have landed on her bare skin. That would not have been pretty. She took a file to the blade, making it more realistic and then polished it off making it look presentable.

She went and grabbed the drill and replaced the bit inside with the correct size and type. She began turning the handle and drilling into the piece of metal to create the holes. About halfway into the first hole, the drill bit snapped apart. To make it worse, she managed to cut her hand on the blade. Ouch! That friggin hurt! She pulled off the bandage on her arm and quickly wrapped it around her hand, making it as tight as possible.

With her hand wrapped tightly she could go back to work without worry of getting something inside the wound, dirt or otherwise, though she would still need to keep an eye on it. She grabbed the drill and finished creating the holes large enough for the bolts to fit through. Next step was the arm.

She opened up the arm compartment like last time and changed the drill bit on the drill to a shorter, smaller one. Drilling the holes in their correct spots, she took her knife and began cutting into the wood to make the holes larger for the bolts. She kept testing it until the bolts were large enough to fit through.

Miyako grabbed the blade and lines up the holes so as to fit perfectly. She grabbed the three bolts and placed a washer on each one before placing it through the holes. She then went through the compartment and placed a washer on before placing the nut on and tightened them all up. She tested the blade by hitting it, shaking it, anything to try and get it to loosen, but she had done a good job. Rose was complete for now, and was ready for fighting shape.

Now that Miyako was done with her puppet she decided to work on some jutsu. She had brought the book along with her and she wanted to finish up the academy jutsu. She picked up the puppet, slinging it over her shoulder. Hm... I'll need to find an easier way to carry this thing around. She would probably have to learn the sealing technique, but had no idea where to begin looking for it. She set her puppet down in the grass outside and went to working on the technique. She needed to be attacked by something, but at the last moment needed to exchange herself with something close by. She grabbed a decent sized rock. This will work... She threw it straight up and focused her chakra on her feet. Before the rock hit she tried to dodge by grabbing something else in her place, but she was whacked on the forehead.

She rubbed the mark that was now there and proceeded to try again. She threw the rock straight up and before it reached she focused on her chakra and projected herself with a nearby section of log. When the rock struck, in her place was the log and Miyako was standing back by her puppet. "Ha! That was so awesome! Wait till Urza sees this!"

She was really going to impress Urza when she would see her next. She may even attempt to take Urza on... maybe. At least, her puppet could try. She had a feeling her puppet wouldn't last very long though. She grabbed the rock and threw it up and repeated the same process by replacing herself with the log and appearing next to her puppet while the log poofed where she should have been.

She patted her new created friend on the back, "Well would you look at that Rose. Seems like I have a knack for this sort of thing." She smiled and picked up the rock, throwing it up once again. She waited till the last second before switching herself out with the log. The instant the rock connected with her forehead, poof, in her place was the log and Miyako at a safe distance, ready to make a counter attack. "That would catch my opponent off guard and that would be it."

She could see it now. The look on her enemy's face as a flying foot came to meet with his face or gut. She almost found herself laughing. She grabbed a larger rock and threw it up into the air. She then quickly changed herself with the log before the rock collided and the log was standing in her place. She wondered how often other ninja used this technique. It was an easy one and one that seemed likely to be used, but she hadn't seen it yet. Then again she had only seen a few jutsu in her life.

She grabbed the rock again and threw it into the air. This time she didn't even bother looking up as she had already switched with the log. The rock hit the top of her head and she poofed, showing the log. "Rose... I think I may need to challenge myself, but then again, I need this to graduate. Maybe I should have worked on them earlier..." She wondered if she would think it was this easy earlier...

Miyako walked over to the rock and threw it up into the air. She waited a little bit and went to exchange herself with the log, but she had waited too long and the rock smacked her in the head. Damn it! Maybe I should have used something a little softer? God that hurt!!! She held her head in her arms as she tried soothing herself. She could feel her ears ringing...

She grabbed a smaller rock and threw it into the air. This time she didn't wait. She quickly changed herself with the log, actually standing by her puppet when the rock hit 'her' and it poofed to show the log like it had done previous times. She rubbed the top of her head as she went to go pick up the rock.

She threw the rock up and went to change with the log, but the rock bounced off a branch and fell back down fast and hit her on the head. At least it was a smaller rock this time, but damn does it still hurt... She wished she had grabbed a fruit or something from the house, but going back inside would be a bad idea, especially with her puppet. No, she would wait till later to bring it inside, so for now, she would have to deal with rocks.

Rocks were similar to fists. They are both hard and hurt when you get hit in the head, so she thought it was a good thing she was using rocks. Anything to tell herself to keep going with the training. She went back out and grabbed the rock and threw it up into the air. She frantically looked for the log, but by the time she spotted it, the rock clunked her in the head. F***! That f*****n hurt! She rubbed her head, even with a hat on, it seemed to hurt.

She sighed and picked up the rock. She looked for the log before throwing it up she quickly switched places with the log and when the rock collided this time it poofed away in a cloud of smoke and revealed the log that had taken her place. She wondered if people got angry at that kind of thing once they realized they hit a piece of wood rather than the person they were targeting. She assumed it happened all the time.

Miyako grabbed the rock again and moved away from the log as she had done previously. She threw it straight up into the air, but once again, before she could get anywhere, the rock bounced off a branch and managed to hit her in the head. I think I'm going to have a headache trying to get some sleep tonight... She wondered if her mother could make a tonic for it...

She supposed she could, though it was all a matter of if she would. She grabbed the rock, and threw it up into the air. She looked for the log, found it, and replaced herself with the log. Once the rock had hit, the log appeared in a puff of smoke in place of herself. If she really wanted to, she could come out of hiding and suddenly attack the enemies, but the better she hid, the harder it would be to hit her... since she had all she needed with her weapon.

Miyako grabbed the rock and moved away from the log, though staying close to her puppet so as no one would steal it. She had spent a lot of time trying to create the puppet that she would keep it near and dear. Throwing the rock up she quickly switched herself with the log and it thudded off as it hit it instead of herself. This is a little sneaky... I like it!

She grabbed the rock and moved back to the other direction. She threw the rock into the air and concentrated on her chakra to give her quick movement. However, as she went to get away, her chakra stopped and she wasn't fast enough and so the rock smacked her in the back of the leg. S***... I thought I had that one...

Miyako grabbed the rock again. She threw the rock up and she went to run away, however the rock managed to bounce off a branch and smack her in the back of the head. Really? How often is that supposed to happen? I get smacked by the rock I threw and now my head hurts... She decided that she would take some tonic water before going to bed to get her mind off of the throbbing she was now feeling.

Miyako grabbed the rock. She was a pro at ninjutsu, so this should be a piece of cake, though the last successful attempt was seeming to put a damper on it. She should have been able to breeze right through it all, but of course she would have to find some difficulty in this task. She threw the rock up, but as she went to change herself, she tripped over something in the ground and fell face first on the ground, the rock hitting her in the rear. Of course, she huffed.

Miyako grabbed the rock and was about ready to chuck it as hard as she could at anything, but stopped herself. With the luck she was having it would find a way to bounce back and hit her somewhere and probably leave a good mark. So she threw it up into the air and switched herself with the log and so performed the Kawarimi no jutsu properly for the tenth time. She let the log fall in a poof of smoke and grabbed her puppet, slinging it over her shoulder.
